His calculation is extremely good. I mean what a strategy!! Interview mein normally 150 to milte hi hai for average interview and Optional mein 350 tak bhi le aaya to 500 marks to sorted hai completely. Uske baad GS karo. Saath hi saath optional bhi. 400-500 marks aur lane hai for final merit.
He was in resonance kota since 2006. Later he cracked iitjee 2010 with sc rank 1. Worked as Data Scientist in South Korea for 2 years till 2016. Later he joined a start-up in Bengaluru. In June 2017 he started UPSC preparation.

niether i am upsc aspirant nor neet/iit/cat aspirant still i watch the most interviews as dedication, sacrifice,hardwork, consistency, objective pattern is the almost same core for most exams.

@@Arif_0899 he was already doing a good job in Korea as he is iitian. and UPSC exam qualify krna apne aap mai hi sacrifice as syllabus is too vast and 3 stages of exam are there preliminary ,mains then interview . Usne foreign ka high pay job leave krke UPSC preparation ki and exam top kiya .
The only problem is such exceptionally intelligent candidates have to work under our undeserving leaders and politicians who don't have knowledge even halfway close to such toppers
This is a humble request to Unacademy to please try and feature IFos rankers as well. They are the ones who have been overshadowed by their CSE counterparts in the present times. They are doing a commendable work out there and the least you can do is make their efforts visible to the public.
He had a very strong base in maths and confidence due to iit . He knew how to work hard because he had already prepared and cracked one of the toughest exam that is jee adv . So by this he covered optional and interview he just studied history geography polity and general knowledge . He knew how to write the answers because of iit . Al papers in iit are subjective . He had a strong guidance of his father as he is also an ias . So just dont compare yourself with him .

Actually the thing is why this video got 600 k views and why of Akshat Jain rank 2 got 1M+ views ,is because Akshay's life is full of struggle and dedication ,I don't mean that Kanishk doesn't have that,he too have studied equally hard,but in his Interview Kanishk told that he got motivation very late ,(when he came back from foreign then Bengaluru after that he decided),but I personally feel in this exam , motivation should come from within far back you start your preparation.

Sare toppers educated aur acche family background se hote hai aur unko parents padhai me support bhi karte hai,unke paas economic problems nhi hoti hai aur khane-pine k liye bhi sari chije time pe available hota hai or ghar k kaam ki bhi tension nhi hoti hai to aise me sirf padhai pe hi inlogo ko focus karna padta hai.baaki kisi chij k liye to sochna nhi padta hai. Or upsc me top karne ka ek or rision ye bhi hai ki ye sab doctori engineering kr k aate hai or us se bhi jayada khachra upsc me jo rank dene kaa kaam karta hai wo hai .koi aisa topper ka name bata de jo village se ho aur hindi medium ho.

Actually the thing is why this video got 600 k views and why of Akshat Jain rank 2 got 1M+ views ,is because Akshay's life is full of struggle and dedication ,I don't mean that Kanishk doesn't have that,he too have studied equally hard,but in his Interview Kanishk told that he got motivation very late ,(when he came back from foreign then Bengaluru after that he decided),but I personally feel in this exam , motivation should come from within far back you start your preparation.
