@@Tha_Trigga Or just for the laughs, Truth gets hit with something, passes out and when he wakes up. He is back to being Ron Killings and everyone is trying to remind him that he is actually R-Truth
Forget the NXT stars. If WWE have a working relationship with TNA and they have AJ Styles, the one wrestler who more than anyone embodies that company’s Golden Age… they would be crazy not to negotiate AJ winning the TNA World Title and appearing in both companies with it. Styles really deserves a major storyline at the moment but it’s too early to take the belt off Cody. Have AJ “return to TNA”, win the belt, challenge Cody to a champ vs champ exhibition and win. It immediately legitimises TNA’s legacy and AJ, without diminishing Cody who could still win the rubber match with AJ. If they’d held on to Samoa Joe, it would be even better but…. the road not taken 😔
Tbh if WWE invades TNA that only helps TNA really. To bad this working relationship wasn't a thing 10 years ago. Im still pissed we never got Abyss vs. Kane
Trips does do things differently, but he was still Vinnie's student. I don't do everything the way my mentor did, but deep down to the core, I still remember who he was and what got him where he was. WWTNA, scares me.
Actually, WWE talent going to other promotions was done before Vince by his dad, Vince Sr during the territory days. The older Vince who controlled the Northeast territory, would send talent to other promotions for short stints as to keep the talent fresh as it allowed him to get new opponents for whoever was world champion at the time. Once Junior took over in 1983, it slowly stopped.
It definitely helps TNA. But it also helps NXT, with their roster. It gives NXT's roster a chance to work with more seasoned wrestlers, and that helps them. TNA has a very underrated roster, full of experience. Of course it'll help TNA get exposure, no one denies that. But NXT talent benefits from this as well. .
I would love to see TNA’s Nick Nemeth go to NXT! He looks a lot like a former NXT champion I believe his name was Zolph Diggler or something like that.
Honestly it makes sense for battleground to build to worlds collied nxtna crossover. Surprised AEW didn't do this a few years ago as outside AEW hardcore fans the casual US (and the rest of the world) aren't familiar with Japanese wrestling and their wrestlers.
Agreed 100%. We don't need WWE once again dominating more footage of North American wrestling. They have too much control over it as is. WWE unfortunately owns the rights to the prior wrestling history up to the 2000s. We don't need them owning a massive chunk of modern wrestling history as well Plus it makes Khan look even dumber for not paying TNA for the rights to use Sting's time in TNA for the various different montage/tribute videos to his last match
Everyone is loving this "working relationship" and crossovers between TNA Wrestling and the World Wrestling Entertainment, up until Anthem Sports and Entertainment sells TNA Wrestling to Endeavor TKO. This may be the reason why ex-TNA excutive Scott D'Amore attempted to purchase TNA, as well as recent TNA resignations. Anthem Sports and Entertainment selling to Endeavor TKO may have been planned at least a year ago.
it be wild of wwe started a new invasion angle with tna stars come to wwe and start jumping there superstars, they should kick start this will attacking AJ styles, it would be pretty cool but the only problem is tna doesnt have nowhere as big stars compared to wwe so the outcome will be too obvious that team wwe will win at the end but maybe the matches could be good

Id love to see AJ back in TNA, Baron Corbin in TNA for a time sounds too awesome too pass up, Pete Dune, and a comedy segment with R Truth back in TNA to really test the waters and open channels. I also really want Moose in the Mens Rumble this year and then some program after that, Chris Bey in NXT would be awesome, Josh Alexander doing a couple of programs and being in the Rumble would be cool too, Joe Hendry to do a few NXT programs followed by a Rumble appearance. My last two picks are Tasha Steelz and Killer Kelly. Naomi, Bailey, and Gigi Dolin to TNA would be amazing.
We’re in a good era for wrestling right now, so many different companies with different types of wrestlers and wrestling styles & companies working together. Let’s enjoy it while we have it
Well...TNA was fun while it lasted. I speculated something like this back when Mickie James was in the RR. I also guessed that Scott D'Amore's exit was due to maybe Anthem and WWE might have had one courting the other. I think he may felt then as I do now getting bed with WWE would likely end like WCW and ECW. That was a gutsy move by a, although well respected booker/producer/talent finder/talent developer, to try and find enough investors to buy TNA. Scott, you did the right thing. People go to WWE for a paycheck. Look how long Sting held out before he dealt with the devil. He cared about the business first, being happy to do what he was doing and making pretty good, but not quite WWE money. I'll bet he thought he had only a few years left, so sign one big money deal with WWE and solidify his future. He could put up with Vinnie that long...Or maybe not... The "rah-rah do it for the team" attitude that was TNA, isn't going to go well while they are in WWE's house. The WWE talent talks a good game, but their good will with their "buds" only seems to last as long as it benefits the individual. Randy Orton didn't feel to bad for too long for Matt Riddle. We'll see...
I like the possibilities of the TNA/WWE partnership. I saw Gail Kim is still on the TNA roster. Now that Vince is gone, maybe she can come back and team with Natayla for a women's tag team run. They could do the Planet Hulk/ World War Hulk type story with Bron Breakker. Adam Pierce could banish Bron Breakker from Raw, and he could show up in TNA. He could win the X division or digital media championship and go back to WWE and squash a ton of guys in the Rumble. I am praying Joe Hendry shows up. I think he could hit LA Knight levels of popularity pretty quick, and that would be a great feud. What was bad was my first thought when hearing TNA and WWE were working together was that Thank God Vince isn't around to screw this up.
Yeah historically when behind the curtain staff is laid off left and right, that tends to signal a takeover/buyout. I don't think anyone would be legitimately surprised if TNA is absorbed into TKO.
yeah you have to have the 125 station packaging I guess with most cable. It is on Direct Tv's streaming basic 85 channels. I have the Direct Tv with unlimited cloud. But, I don't watch TNA. Tried but can't get into it. But they do need a bigger station to get more exposure.
I would would love to see Tatum Paxley apart of TNA but not in a championship match because all she would be doing is Jobbing to Jordan Grace even if she did get offense in the match she would still lose. It would still be good to see her her a match with someone in the knockouts division for TNA.
TNA management has made it known months ag their plans going into 2025 were to both return to live tapings amd even using Full Sail University to produce shows.
