Is it just me or are all the fairy tail openings about love?
Believe me. You're not the only one who sees that as well. But the only song I THINK that doesn't have any love, is opening 5 Egao no Mahou.

Snow Fairy? Rock City Boy? Strike Back? Yakusoku no Hi? Mysterious Magic? Ft? Break Out? Never-End Tail?
These are just a few. Not really in all of them.. but I do say there is hints of things like that mixed in most of the songs but they are not all completely like that.
FloralBeauty well you got me there tbh, and no offense but I'm not exactly familiar with this although it's popular.
FloralBeauty Strike back and Snow Fairy are kinda since it hints at love. "Defy the world to make you smile" for example
axlorg89 "Defy the world to make you smile" is part of NateWantsToBattle's _interpretation_ of the song. It's not the direct translation. I think the actual translation is something like "I want to protect this smile," which can also suggest love, but for me, I think the main idea of Strike Back is that the singer is going into a dark battle, only knowing how to fight for what they believe in (friends, love interest, something they care about). They want to be a symbol of both war and peace, wanting to protect what they hold dear. Or at least, that's how I thought of it.
Snow Fairy, on the other hand, is more so about love, especially when it comes to the full translation.

Everyone I ask says they hated this arc and I don't understand. Yes, it was a filler and what not but I enjoyed it.
And this song came from it which was even better.
I enjoyed it too, it didn't even feel like filler. If anyone wants to hate on an arc they should hate on the infinty clock arc.

I actually love the filler arcs because they gave us more OPs and EDs, plus new forms of magic like Rupture Magic and Slot Magic, new characters like Eclipse Aries and Gutman the Cleaner. They also gave more screen to minor characters like Lyon, Yukino, and Hisui. Without the filler arcs, we would not get cool songs like this one.
Its not a filler, the 100yrs quest manga literally showed Edolas
Nostalgia. If only some recent anime’s make openings like these, it’s honestly a nice vibe.
