Nice I wonder if that was the last year They. Made the Torino I guess the next big thing for Ford was the Thunderbird in 77 the following year. But it still doesn’t compare to the 6.6 big block the grand Torino had Thunderbirds Vegas and then was the 400 which was in between a big and a small block
@@emile1rs Thank you. It sounds wonderful. Gives me a really good idea on what to expect from mine. I also just bought a couple late 70s f150s with 400s, bent a push rod in one and rebuilding it as we speak so it should sound exactly like that when I get done.

My first car was a red 1976 Gran Torino with white top (no stripes)... I loved that car, still dream about it. To this day, my favorite ride.

What all is done to your engine? I have a 76 that I am starting to build. Going to paint it just a shade darker blue than that with metallic flake.
the engine is with an edelbrock performance manifold and holley 600cfm street warrior carburetor, that's all, the color is the original 3G dark blue.
