Your channel is simply on point to the real needs, I always find myself watching videos in 2x to find the solution I need in long videos that include lots of things, you focus on a single problem at a time and you’re very quick and precise with the information! I lost count of how many times you saved me during my work trine with quick solutions!! Thank you so much!
Your videos are really good. I've been using DR for few years now but I keep learning new things from you that I even didn't know existed before. Thank you.
YES! thank you! i didnt know how to word this problem and went through a few searches that didnt give me the right results then BOOM you solved it while i was doom scrolling shorts. Thank you!
Hard to say without more information but that's typically a loading issue with your computer system. Resources my be getting taxed out. Try completely restarting your computer and see if it reloads.
@@Daniel_Batal it didn't helped me at all. The issue was in Fusion. I've reset it for the problematic timeline and this mostly solved the problem. However at the end of the timeline their was still a black screen. Very weird.
Ohh man… thank you 🙏 - I needed this one. Been struggling with parts of a timeline where I’ve been playing with speedramping or some effects with adjustment layers and the handbrake it causes is totally new to me… my hardware is good but I was starting to realise the juice required for extra vanilla activity 😳
Hmm... sounds like system lag. Your computer is most likely being overwhelmed by the resource request. Here's a great bit of advice from motion array. Definitely make sure your system meets or exceeds the recommended (not minimum) system specs by OS ---> motionarray.com/learn/davinci-resolve/davinci-resolve-system-requirements/
Wow,it worked for me! My fusion composition hadn't been rendering properly in the edit page and always was lagging on low framerate in the playback. Could it be due to a lot of visual effects?
Fusion is a resource hog. Make sure you system significantly exceeds the recommended (not minimum) system requirements if you plan on using Fusion often
System stress. Your computer is probably below the recommended specs. Try making sure you have plenty of free system storage capacity (at least 100GB) and turn off any other processes running in the background at startup. That might get you a bit more performance. Also, export locally. Don’t try to export directly to a platform like RUclips, etc
I have a question. If my clips suddenly are flashing on and off without me selecting it too and the clips appearing randomly everywhere what do I do? None of the other tutorials cover this. My files are not deleted or effected.
hmmm... that sounds more like your system struggling to catch up to the information in your timeline. Make sure you understand some of the lag solutions available ( ruclips.net/video/vMCq6Fd-Zas/видео.html) and that your system meets the recommended (not minimum) system requirements.
Always asked myself how the behavior is when „deliver“? Is it taking the original or the previously rendered? Does it make a difference? Do I have to take care?
I have one urgent question! yesterday I rendered my timeline (it was 50fps and 1080 x 1920) and suddenly after the rendering all my clips were in a different resolution, like really zoomed in and I have no idea how this happened nor how to fix it 😅 if anyone can help it’ll be highly appreciated !!
Nope. So there is a missing component in what you’re doing versus what I showed. See if you can locate what that difference is. This isn’t a Studio feature so it’s there. Wrong page, still image, locked track, etc. Just try to find that user change
@@Daniel_Batal Found it! Looks like I was on the wrong page. I was on the cut page when I should have been in edit mode. Thank you! This was all super helpful!!
My pc stoped working and freeze frame while using davinci Resolve effects?? Please suggest any solution..my pc specs: ryzen 3200 g with no GPU 16 gb ram 500 ssd
Unfortunately, your system is below the minimum system requirements and far below the recommended requirements. If you want to use Resolve you’ll need to upgrade your system
@@Daniel_Batal thanks, i was really wondering about this because playback lag seemed like it was reduced when I discovered how to merge clips for the first time, but I wasn't sure if it was just placebo.
I've covered this lots of times. This is more of an editing basic than a DaVinci Resolve technique. Just bring your sound effect or other video clip into another track in your timeline. You can have virtually as many tracks as you want. This is one of the basics of multitrack video editing.
@@Daniel_Batal I asked this because I came from Final Cut Pro and since It make that in automatically, I hoped davinci make it this too 😂😂 thx Daniel ❤️
@@Daniel_Batal yes yes I know, but sometimes happens I put some long track into a part of timeline that I think it’s free and I deleted some sound 😂😂😂 it is a habit to change
An easy tip for that is to lock the existing tracks in your timeline that you don't want to be accidentally changed by adding a new asset. It won't allow you to do anything destructive to those tracks.
This is GREAT for segments that have some of those fancier transition effects - THANKS 👏
My pleasure 🙂
you're probably the best channel makes the most helpful davinci resolve tutorials. thanks a lot
Aw dang! Thanks so much. Really appreciate that ☮️

When to use render in place vs optimize media
That’s a great question. I wish there was only one answer.
It varies so much depending on your system and project.

The default is to take the original full res at deliver.

This is a render tip, you seem to be asking about track layering. Could you give me more context?

Rendered in place for performance or rendered as in ‘exported’?
I have Davinci Resolve 18, but when I right click I don't get a 'render in place' button. Is there is another way to get there? Thanks!

@@Daniel_Batal which processor?
Also, quick question if u dont mind me asking, does merging clips do the same effect of refucing playback lag?
Not necessarily. It has more to do with how much information the software is processing simultaneously

It does. Just drag your video/audio clip into your timeline above or below and existing track and a new track will be created for it.

No I’m probably just stupid

That’s usually the step people skip
how to do same on dual preview
Same way. Display settings don’t change this
How can i do that same on dual preview, bcs on dual preview is full resolution

i dont know where to change playback quality on Source view/monitor?@@Daniel_Batal
Playback quality is controlled singularly through the software even if you separate the video clean feed.
