The Lord will guide me to where I have to be. May the good Lord watch over you and your family and friends. Peace and Love 😊.
I am so thankful to you both. You make me stop and think and then you show me how everything relates. God bless you and thank you for your wisdom.
I’m getting prepared here in the UK. I believe it’s needed with the state of the country and world as it is
I have No family. But God takes care of those with out others.
I've said to people that this is not the time to become complacent. Sometimes prosperity leads to complacency. I can't say that we're in complete prosperity due to the skyrocketing cost of living, but like you said, some are breathing a sigh of relief. At some level, I did breathe a sigh of relief, but I also have in the back of my mind that things can change very quickly. I don't like to take this for granted. I'm living by the grace of God and all of my blessings come from Him. I just need for Him to bless my efforts because I do have some limitations. That said, He has never abandoned me, and He never will. He's helped me through all of the ups and downs and everything in between. We are in the Last Days before the Savior returns, and we need to keep moving forward in our temporal and spiritual preparedness for the times in which we now live. ❤❤❤
Amen and all Glory to God! I thank Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior for loving us so much that he took upon himself mocking, humiliation, whipping, crucifixion, death, and then ascended heaven to be on God's right side. He did this to give us eternal life if we accept and believe in him. Blessings to all.
@@sherrikarlstedt6442 Ummm… ok, I kinda knew this and believe. But, indeed, blessings….
Hi Brad and Christa, I live in the suburbs of Denver, and a dozen eggs at Walmart here were $7.27 per dozen. I am allowed to have 6 chicken here, but we are NOT allowed to butcher them. We also have to pay for a class through the city and pay for a permit to have them. I agree with you, the sleepy folks may end up with a huge wakeup call. I will be expanding my garden this year. Had to put security cameras last year due to thefts.
We are with ya! Rural Northwestern WI- even with the best prepping, we will need to have a network of others to rely on. Not sure how well that will go for most ppl- we are used to being so self-reliant.
Joseph’s story has been on my mind lately also. Shalom!
You are so wise. Yes no matter who is in office we must be more self sufficient. I have my own chickens so have eggs even though they are decreased due to weather.
My kidding season ( 🐐) started yesterday. I enjoy having my own milk and making cheese, kefir, and soap. This year will increase garden size. Must have raised beds due to age. My TV is an old 19 inch. My clothes plain from Walmart ( can't walk around Goodwill anymore). My car is 11 years old.
I just ordered a pressure canner for jars brand.
I want my own home grown canned food. We need to focus on a simpler life.
I also use all jars from store that have rubber seal in to can-( for a long time)
THANK YOU
If you breathe a sigh of relief, let it be because you know you have done and continue to do all you can do.
There's a pause, but once prices skyrocket, grandparent skills & their thought process will be needed once again. More people to wake up to that. 😊
I was asked by my sons boss to make something for them. When asked how much they owed me, i told them $18 for the product, and he gave me $20 for the product and $30 for doing it. I told him he paid me tooo much he told me to take it i earned it and i thanked him. I also took in 2 garbage bags of aluminum cans and earned $12 on them so i went over to the local grocery store and got 2 marinated chickens for the freezer, a small bowl of soup for dinner, a premade salad for tomorrows dinner and a couple if other things i needed and i spent $42 of the $52 that i made. But i won't be going to the grocery store for the next couple of weeks because i got everything i need. Only thing i need to get is my medicine. And i will get that on the way home from work tomorrow morning. I am trying to downsize everything. Trying to go only when i need to stock up on things i use a lot of. I am already planning my garden, i am adding 2 new veggies that i never have grown so this is going to be a learning thing. But i will work on getting the things i need to get the soil ready. I also am trying not to be such a chair potato, too, and getting up and moving around more. Little things at a time. I have my own chickens but when i am blessed with a dozen or so extra i give them to family and friends for free. I help where i can help. I give where i can give. Please be safe out there and god bless everyone.
I believe things will turn in the right direction, BUT, we're gonna go through some rough stuff for awhile 1st. I plan adding to the garden this year and resupplying my pantry. I've played with dehydrating, canning and fermenting. Now I need to get serious. I've said I want chickens or quail. Maybe I better get serious about building a hutch/pen and figure out feed. Steak is getting cheaper then eggs. I just payed $5.49 for a dozen. Unfortunately we are egg-o-holics here🤣 O can say I still have 4 gallon size bags of frozen tomatoes from last year-and that was off of only 2 plants! We like our spaghetti and chili around here and its so much better with home grown tomatoes then canned. But I have a supply of those also.
Beautiful snow background! We just got a couple more feet of the white stuff here in Idaho. Beautiful. We a!ways have about 6 months of supplies, a!ways. Coming from a ranching family, it is a way of life.
i save all my jars pickle, jelly and speg sauce. i reuse them to can in. they are better than canning jars and lids are much better. We make wine and hard cider. I don't rely on the saviors in D.C. to make sure we survive and thrive. People need to grow gardens and raise their own food as much as possible.
I have heard that having chickens cost more than buying them at the store. Now with the cost of them being from 6 to $8 a dozen, YIKES, I'M STARTING TO WONDER IF I SHOULD HAVE THEM IN MY BACKYARD. I would have to get ready for that. And I was wondering how I could afford feed for them!! Things are kind of tight for me so I'm just not sure if I could do that. Plus the time it takes to take care of their run. ????
For us, it's not a big of a deal as you might think...
I ordered the cookbooks on Dec. 4th '24. I have not received them yet. Please let me know when I will receive my them.
Ssomeday i want to drive around the country and visit all my favorite RUclipsrs. Id be honored to add you to my list. ❤
My gut feeling is to ready for anything I am already planning my garden and buying seeds that I don't have enough saved from last years garden was so hot here last summer my garden dod not do well had to buy from farmers market, also getting extra food for my animals when buying bird seed for my pet bird yesterday prices jumped over double from just 6 to 8 months ago but luckly chicken feed is down alittle in my area of Ohio
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Are there plants that I could grow that would feed chickens well enough without needing much else???? I don't have a lot of scraps that I could toss them. I only have a small backyard.
We are canning. An a big. Garden
Prices of things are high now, but once it goes down it's real going to the original cost. Don't be fooled.
Technology is not as good as they want us to believe, no one teaches the old ways in public schools, kids can't even think for them selves. It's sad to see what it's done to us.
technology is the main reason for the american way of laziness
We need to find out who is controlling these egg prices and put a stop to it.
They didn't even have grocery stores!
This is not the time to forget about it all. We need to keep going forward.
Use common sense with storage- God gavr us brains for a reason or we would live like animals
Southern Iowa, Wal mart 18 count eggs $6.72- 37.3 each 12 count $4.53- 37.8 each. And I don't understand this at all, 12 count cage free $3.74- 31.2 each.
Here in Calf Walmart, 18 eggs are over $10
Keep talking to the Father, keep working towards self sufficiency, start doing without some of the extras. Learn how to do for you so you dont have to worry about so much. Pray, prep and be kind. Love you guys keeping it real. GOD bless
SEED OIL'S
Boy have they ever changed !!!! I found meself getting angry cuz Aldis dosnt have the right bread anymore. Lol oooooo no this needs to stop.
I was a bit lazy last year, and didn’t bother to grow veg ,but this year I am definitely going to grow some food ! 😊
Thank you for your valuable videos ,we really appreciate you !😊
Just sayin… I can’t have a cow, a lamb, goat….
I could count a million things that I "can't" have... I'd rather start counting the things I can...
@ Just saying… when you homestead and have animals and acreage it’s easy to preach making butter and yogurt and ice cream. I guess if I counted “what I have,” it’s that I don’t crave those things. 😎 I have the skills to make them, but not the materials. I have much, for which I’m grateful. But you preach a lifestyle that many people may not even be able to practice the skills for. Remember to be encouraging and inclusive of those who can’t practice homesteading skills for whatever reasons they may find themselves in. For me, I’m in a season of life in which I am passing on skills, not so much practicing them… lol. But I worry that homestead and Prepper channels create an environment of “gotta do, do, do: gotta prep and stack, stack, stack.” I get it, and feel as prepared as my circumstances allow. But I’m not where I would be if I were younger, and THAT won’t change. Just know that sometimes, what YOU think is encouraging, sounds to us to be a bit judgmental…. I can’t believe I’m writing this because I love your channel, family, and well, maybe it’s because I’m a teacher; I love, as well, the relationships you build with your followers. Maybe it’s just the mood I’m in today. But, I felt a bit judged, and maybe you felt my original was a negative. I didn’t mean it to be. Face-to-face communication is so much better…. 💕💕💕💕
Not feeling confident things will get better in my lifetime once this administration is done. We are chunking away at preparing yet working with what we have. Weve experienced tough times before but this feels different to us. One day at a time...
Not a fan of this leader. Must remember that King David was not perfect. But he was better than what we have now…. We are being sold out by (fill in the blank)……….
