Sabah has a lot of potential, but the city has been mismanaged especially the waterfront philippino market area. It is run down, dirty and chaotic. Government also lack overall long term masterplanning for this area. It could have been a world class waterfront with beautiful urban park and market that stretches all along the waterfront and extend to the river mouth of kampung sembulan, instead it is let to rot. Why is our government so incompetent?

Sabah's waterfront does have incredible potential. With effective urban planning, government accountability, revitalization projects, public-private partnerships, and community involvement, it can be transformed into a world-class destination. Advocacy and active participation will help realize this vision and unlock the area's true beauty and vibrancy.
