I need to rewatch the previous seasons - it's been SO LONG! All I remember is a freak who has a foot fetish and Daemon walking around in a nightmarish stupor and Aegon crashing Sunfyre.
@FupaDoncic who is "we?" Because you dont even have a like on your comment. 😂😂😂 Sunfyre is alive. He literally said it here and if you know the lore, hes still alive later he just cant fly or fight anymore.
He didn’t smuggle SunFyre out of the city. It’s going to be a big plot point that SunFyre finds Aegon on Dragonstone after somehow leaving Rook’s Rest.
Anybody else read the book but can’t remember anything on importance from it? Ryan is so polite for not spoiling anything but I actually need the spoilers to remember what I even read.
@travisross9913'Fire & Blood - Sons of the Dragon' - "Atop the Hightower, the great beacon fire turned a baleful green as Lord Martyn Hightower called his banners. Oldtown waited for the dawn, and the coming of the dragons."
They mispronounce names from every show and movie they cover. I'm almost certain they do it to rage bait people into leaving comments. I know they have writers and Ryan just says whatever the script says, but they're never on the same page and it just comes off as sloppy. I'm not even sure Ryan watches half the stuff they cover on this channel because he would clearly know how to pronounce the names if he did. It just seems weird that no one would correct him and get him to do another take for the line read.
You clearly don't know the characters in this universe then... Just because a character believes and acts like they're right, doesn't mean they are. Rhaenyra and Alicent are not depicted in good lights whatsoever.
The men in their lives influence, and because how much more agency men used to have compared to women, and often dictated decisions they had to do, but while directly involved it's not like the fault is just their's. Shaped by their actions or not they're still responsible for what they decide to do and they'll be held acountible for it, it's not like people are gonna let them get away with doing a big blunder by saying "actually [important man in her life] told me to do it so it's not my fault!", they would get punished for it anyway.
@joa@joaoparente1717Rhaenyra is basically evil in the book. This is a book and not based on real medieval times. That’s why you can have black people as knights lol
I think the whole point is that Fire and Blood is an in-world history, written by in-world maesters filled with very real in-world misogyny. The DotD is really fucking cool, but in the end it’s just b/c two women got emotional. But in HotD, specifically with the two queens’ characters, it is trying to slap us in the face with the fact that “written history” is a fraction of a fraction of the full story (irl and in Westeros)
Corlys is of House Velaryon, he has no Targaryen blood. It is stated in the show that they are not dragon lords and talk about Alyn's mother, alluding that she has Targaryen blood.
@SuaveJokeryeah, sometimes they rush to get these out so quickly that a few of the facts just seem like they could have easily been correctee with a quick google fact check. For the most part though, I think they do a good job and it wouldn't kill me to wait a couple of extra hours for them to get their information straight.
Hate to be a nitpicker, but where "Daemon" seemingly puts the piece on the map is not King's Landing. It's waaay too far inland to be King's Landing, which is on the coastline.
The (baby) blue color alicent switches to is her mother's family color ~ Lady Alerie Florent, who belonged to House Florent of Brightwater Keep, whose sigil is a red fox’s head encircled by blue flowers on ermine, and the color associated with the house is blue.
If they do The Butcher’s Ball, they have to include The Fish Feed as well. I can’t wait to hear Lord Dustin’s words, if the show runners do it correctly
So we likely see Aemon executing the Strongs at Harrenhal, Baela coming in at the battle of the Gullet, Aegon stabbing someone on the beach of Dragonstone, Corlys seeing Jace and Vermax getting hooked at the Gullet, Alicent watching as Otto is beheaded, Rhaenyra learning of Jace’s death and a few random scenes. Was that Tessarion looks good though.
9:37 correct me if i am wrong House Valareyon has blood of old valarya just like targaryans that is why Corlys children can fly dragons, even Adam without any Targaryen blood can also ride a dragon.
House valayrion is indeed the blood of old valyria but not every valyrian house was the house of dragons, corlys children are able to ride dragons because their mother rhenys was a targaryen, this is why corlys can't ride a dragon but his children can
The targaryens and velaryons married together for a long time so Adam has Targaryen blood, just like in game of thrones most if not all Martells have Targaryen blood from the marriages of Daeron II and Daenerys to martells. Which is why I love to imagine Oberyn claiming a dragon dam that would be awesome
@mohammedyusuf9631Corlys can fly a dragon my guy he’s just never been given the opportunity only true targaryens with the name can get a dragon/eggs so he would have to sneak into the dragon pits and basically steal a dragon which could result in his death or he could be punished by the royal family so it’s just not worth it
Really hope they actually let them spend the money they need to make these battles as crazy as they are supposed to be. My expectations are tempered, but I'm still excited for more baby!!
I'm still very much looking forward to watching this season but I am scared about the massive fallout between George and the showrunner so I am keeping my expectations in check
the thing about them changing so much from the books is that the books aren’t necessarily what happened word for word. it’s like thucydides on the peloponnesian war. it’s an ongoing debate whether that book is a historical retelling or more of political philosophical book.
Allicent wore green to the wedding bc that was the color fire that burns on the Hightower when they call their banners to war. Can't wait for this show, hopefully the money pricks at WB didn't gut this season like the last one
Absolutely, I can see them messing up one of the the most important parts of the DoD with the fight over the Gods eye. I’m calling it now one of them will survive
@cajunrage5737 Well Daemons body was never found. So I'd be cool with the Green Face men, maybe pulling him from the waters & taking him into their order.
@StormJ-d4oNo one. Alicent never betrayed her sons by selling them to Rhaenyra. Daemon simply waited for Aemond to leave the city, then him and Rhaenyra did a surprise attack and captured Alicent and Helaena.
Something everyone incessantly and unnecessarily complains about is that HOTD strays from FAB. What do you expect? You have the maester Gyldyn version and the Mushroom version, with the truth and meat of the story lying somewhere in between. They had to flesh out the details somehow. Otherwise it would be this generic story of sibling usurpation with dragons randomly thrown in.
-Quick Question, maybe someone can give me the answer. I read the books. However I forgot how Coryls' (or in "Fire and Blood" maybe Laenor's) bastards Addam and Alyn, have Targaryen blood? How can Addam of Hull claim Seasmoke? If I remember correctly his mom's name is mouse. Is SHE a "dragonseed"? She must be. Guess that answers that. Why did I write this?
I’ve said this before. You DESPERATELY need a loyal group of hardcore GOT/hotd/asoiaf fans who can essentially fact-check your videos. There are always numerous errors and as such a fan, it drives me crazy. Please.
Wow, the relationship of Alicent and Rhaenyra is garbage. Having them teleport all araund to have stupid chats was moronic, first the sept, then Dragonstone... in the middle of a WAR!!!
It doesn't. Dont succumb to these idiots . Its entertainment. Thats all. They have no life and try to capitalize off others work. We should all be happy shows like this even exist.
Nah in the books sunfire is alive after rooks rest in the show they said he died. Hopefully they retcon it. And hopefully they don’t have anymore teleportation
@acrocantho_saurusjust because a character says what they believe is true doesn’t mean they aren’t wrong. Argon only learned it because Cole said so. I doubt they would change something THAT pivotal to the story.
@ongftpI guess for the same reason vesarys didn't ride a dragon, they're not infinite, there's limited amounts so limited riders. It's not like it's an unknown, the lore is clear, velaryons were dragon riders from old valyria too.

"Tesseron"...
I need to rewatch the previous seasons - it's been SO LONG! All I remember is a freak who has a foot fetish and Daemon walking around in a nightmarish stupor and Aegon crashing Sunfyre.
I really hope we get to see Dreamfyre this season!
Nah we want Sunfyre still alive first.
@FupaDoncic who is "we?" Because you dont even have a like on your comment. 😂😂😂
Sunfyre is alive.
He literally said it here and if you know the lore, hes still alive later he just cant fly or fight anymore.
I think “We” all wana see the Canibal… that’s what “We” want
Ira Parker is the showrunner that was promised
Ryan Condal is no true knight
Ryan Condal is an executive producer on AKOTSK.
@discobroccoli198🤦♂️
@discobroccoli198that doesn't mean he had anything to do with it. Clearly he didn't or it would've been a completely different story.
"Tes-ser-i-on.." say it with me,now...🗣
Lost me with that
@princepejman8100he said Tess-a-ron in the video, not Tessarion
He didn’t smuggle SunFyre out of the city. It’s going to be a big plot point that SunFyre finds Aegon on Dragonstone after somehow leaving Rook’s Rest.
This is the show, not the book. Nettles is also a “big plot point” but we didn’t get that either did we?
Aegon said SunFyre died when he was talking to Larys.
Anybody else read the book but can’t remember anything on importance from it? Ryan is so polite for not spoiling anything but I actually need the spoilers to remember what I even read.
Green also because house hightower's beacon goes green when they call their banners for war
@travisross9913'Fire & Blood - Sons of the Dragon' - "Atop the Hightower, the great beacon fire turned a baleful green as Lord Martyn Hightower called his banners. Oldtown waited for the dawn, and the coming of the dragons."
Also, Vhagar wasn’t at the battle of the Gullet.
Not Tessa-Ron 😂
They mispronounce names from every show and movie they cover. I'm almost certain they do it to rage bait people into leaving comments. Hate how the writers feel the need to absolve the two women of the choices they'll make. Just let them be evil - they are capable
You clearly don't know the characters in this universe then... Just because a character believes and acts like they're right, doesn't mean they are. Rhaenyra and Alicent are not depicted in good lights whatsoever.

remember the villain lady from 300 2. she was awesome.
@joa@joaoparente1717Rhaenyra is basically evil in the book. This is a book and not based on real medieval times. That’s why you can have black people as knights lol

I am so ready for this season.
For a second I thought James Norton was Tom hopper and I was about to say he was in Got before lol
Thank you for not give any spoilers, really appreciate it.
I honestly don't know how any people are still alive in Westeros. They must churn out people like Saruman hatching Uruk Hai, but on a massive scale.
Elite timing
You described their relationship so beautifully!!
The best Easter Egg here was “very badly burned!”
Really good 👍 thnx!
Corlys is of House Velaryon, he has no Targaryen blood. It is stated in the show that they are not dragon lords and talk about Alyn's mother, alluding that she has Targaryen blood.
I’m starting to realize how little effort screen crush actually puts into researching their videos…
@SuaveJokeryeah, sometimes they rush to get these out so quickly that a few of the facts just seem like they could have easily been correctee with a quick google fact check. For the most part though, I think they do a good job and it wouldn't kill me to wait a couple of extra hours for them to get their information straight.
They do have the blood of old Valyria tho, and the valyrians were dragon lords, the Targaryens were a lesser house in Valyria.
Velaryon we're not black in books but they are in the show. Writers are mixing things up.
and Criston Cole is still a member of the kingsguard if I'm not mistaken. he said "former kingsguard"
Finally a sponsorship from a company that is not completely useless and money gl grabbing. Bellroy is really a good company, making quality products.
Thank you
Looked like a shot of Aegon stabbing someone during a fight or possible battle maybe on way to retrieve his downed dragon
Looking at the map it's actually Tumbleton.
The camp with the green tents, is a Hightower camp, not Criston Cole camp
Hate to be a nitpicker, but where "Daemon" seemingly puts the piece on the map is not King's Landing. It's waaay too far inland to be King's Landing, which is on the coastline.
I should’ve watched the whole video before commenting! Ryan screwed so much more up!!
There’s a fair bit of inaccuracies in this video…
You can see on the tapestry behind the throne and at the gates when Alicent is walking in that the dragon has been changed to gold.
The greens have gold dragons in the trailer is my brother colorblind?
Let's hope they don't put 8 layers of dark filters over everything
I really hope this season is good
It's called the painted table
The son w the black hair dies in the battle of the gullet
The (baby) blue color alicent switches to is her mother's family color ~ Lady Alerie Florent, who belonged to House Florent of Brightwater Keep, whose sigil is a red fox’s head encircled by blue flowers on ermine, and the color associated with the house is blue.
If they do The Butcher’s Ball, they have to include The Fish Feed as well.
I can’t wait to hear Lord Dustin’s words, if the show runners do it correctly
ROUGH PRONOUNCIATION ON TYROSH LOLOLOL
So glad it is back. ❤ A Knight of the seven kingdoms is great ❤
Hey I didn’t know Mario Van Peebles was in this 👍
Feel like everyone is gearing up for a hate watch more than actually getting ready to enjoy😂😂
I will not watch it 'till it finishes.
The only thing I hate watching is Colton saying anything.
No buddy that’s just you
Exactly, they are so exhausting 😂😂
So we likely see Aemon executing the Strongs at Harrenhal, Baela coming in at the battle of the Gullet, Aegon stabbing someone on the beach of Dragonstone, Corlys seeing Jace and Vermax getting hooked at the Gullet, Alicent watching as Otto is beheaded, Rhaenyra learning of Jace’s death and a few random scenes. He can’t fly a dragon
@Richard71834 nope
58 seconds😭😭😭
its' weird how he's the same age as his mom
Really hope they actually let them spend the money they need to make these battles as crazy as they are supposed to be. My expectations are tempered, but I'm still excited for more baby!!
damn this trailer was hype
Corlys does not have Targaryen blood
Excuse me. TEN(?!) Dragons?! In a single battle?! Summer really can't come fast enough.
Totally forgot that there is going to be a season 3
Ver-max, not Veer-max
Daemon's daughters aren't twins.
Whatchu mean “it’s the holidays…” what holidays?
Where is Otto Hightower
I'm still very much looking forward to watching this season but I am scared about the massive fallout between George and the showrunner so I am keeping my expectations in check
I forgot this show existed
The woman trapped might be the sister aegon and aemon has
You are breaking this down so good that i feel the show will fall short of the expectations 😅
They’re not lmao there’s several mistakes in this video but none of us will remember by the time the season comes out
I want to see the Fish Feed.
who the hell is tessaron?!?!
Baela and Rhaena are not twins boss.. Baela is older
They are twins tho lol
Where is the Night king in House of Dragon
Everybody knows she is Dragon food.
thank you steve buscemi
Looking forward to the total destruction and erasure of “House Velaryon”.
9:38...Co4lys does not have dragon blood.
When did they say that Cregan stark is bringing more men by ship to KL? Pretty sure that’s not in the book and don’t remember it in the show.
Ryan doesnt care about Cregan, only the boss babes matter to him
the thing about them changing so much from the books is that the books aren’t necessarily what happened word for word. it’s like thucydides on the peloponnesian war. it’s an ongoing debate whether that book is a historical retelling or more of political philosophical book.
Unfortunately that seems to just be an excuse for the show runners to completely change aspects of the story.
Allicent wore green to the wedding bc that was the color fire that burns on the Hightower when they call their banners to war. Can't wait for this show, hopefully the money pricks at WB didn't gut this season like the last one
Finally see me glorious queen tessarion she's so stubby😭
Her 0.67 second screen time at the end of season 2 looked much better and vibrant
@acrocantho_saurusanything to complain about.
Its not game of thrones, its House of The Dragon
My house has bent the knee to Doug, we shall fight tooth and nail for our leige! (He just has to marry my dog of course) 😆 🤣
Alicent opening the gates to king's landing is such a dumb change.
Absolutely, I can see them messing up one of the the most important parts of the DoD with the fight over the Gods eye. I’m calling it now one of them will survive
wah wah wah wah wah wah wah
@cajunrage5737 Well Daemons body was never found. So I'd be cool with the Green Face men, maybe pulling him from the waters & taking him into their order.
So in rhe books, who was actually opning the gates???
@StormJ-d4oNo one. Alicent never betrayed her sons by selling them to Rhaenyra. Daemon simply waited for Aemond to leave the city, then him and Rhaenyra did a surprise attack and captured Alicent and Helaena.
Prefer in the books that Aegon and his dragon are presumed dead, it’s a real shock when they return.
No cannibal ? 😢
Did the show have a nettles? Seems like i remember a lesser version or something
Nope. She was completely excluded for some dumb reason.
they merged Nettles with Daemon's younger daughter, who feels ignored because she doesnt have a dragon, so she's seeking out SheepStealer
The real heart of this story is Dragon on Dragon battles. That's what we're tuning in for
The politics of men didn’t force Alicent to become a hater and willfully lie about her husbands dying wish lol
In her defense (and I HATE Alicent) she honestly believed Viserys was talking about Aegon at first, it’s the only time she didn’t lie. 😂
I want Rhaenyra to go brutal
More excited then ever ❤
Game of thrones fans are united to watch the greatest story...the dance of the dragons 👿❤️
Look good I'm optimistic it will be better than S2 which was like a 6/10
well obviously because battle of the gullet and dance of the dragons
It will definitely be better cause all those build up they made was literally left off for season 3 so
@LostZoRo3sWORDwell yes but not intentionally. The stupid writer's strike caused most of it.
-Quick Question, maybe someone can give me the answer.
I read the books. However I forgot how
Coryls' (or in "Fire and Blood" maybe Laenor's) bastards Addam and Alyn, have Targaryen blood? How can Addam of Hull claim Seasmoke? If I remember correctly his mom's name is mouse. Is SHE a "dragonseed"? She must be.
Guess that answers that. Why did I write this?
Where was my mom?
ScreenCrush recognizing Rhaenicent was not on my 2026 bingo card, but I love it.
You see guys we went to 5 cities last year and saw a total of like 48 people so we travel a lot lol
I’ve said this before. You DESPERATELY need a loyal group of hardcore GOT/hotd/asoiaf fans who can essentially fact-check your videos. There are always numerous errors and as such a fan, it drives me crazy. Please.
WHY NED IN THUMBNAIL
To make you watch. Dipstick move
Bruv messing up all kinda names and details 🤦🏾♂️ C'mon Ryan!
I hate how they built up winter is coming and all of that just for them to make it so meaningless
WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING A SEASON 3?!?!?!?!?! FUDGE YEAH!!!!!!!!!
Vhagar looks like burning Harrenhal
Wow, the relationship of Alicent and Rhaenyra is garbage.
Having them teleport all araund to have stupid chats was moronic, first the sept, then Dragonstone... in the middle of a WAR!!!
Agreed I liked their books counterparts more. At least there, Alicent didn't betray her son and Rhaenyra is a lunatic character.
I'm glad it's going in this direction these book was a very boring but this has been exciting.
This show requires an excessive amount of memorization
It doesn't. Dont succumb to these idiots . Its entertainment. Thats all. They have no life and try to capitalize off others work. We should all be happy shows like this even exist.
Nah in the books sunfire is alive after rooks rest in the show they said he died. Hopefully they retcon it. And hopefully they don’t have anymore teleportation
no one said the dragon is dead, its crippled
Nah, Sunfyre isn't dead it's just poor hype bait but trust!!! My glorious king will move like prime von this season
@claussstrauss it was spoken by aegon, probably because Larys lied to him to get him away from the city easily
@acrocantho_saurusjust because a character says what they believe is true doesn’t mean they aren’t wrong. Argon only learned it because Cole said so. I doubt they would change something THAT pivotal to the story.
But where is HELAENA?!!!
A two minute ad read... 😵
Psst. There's a slip forward button.
Jace allegedly fell in love with Sara Snow in the book, bastard sister of Creghan Stark, there are some minor mistakes in this video
He said he fell in love with a common woman. You realize a bastard would be nothing more than a commoner right?
7:57 Ugh
Does Corlys Velaryon have DRAGON RIDER BLOOD? How did his Bastards got the Dragon Rider GENES?
His son and daughter were both dragon riders, and the velaryons were dragon riders in old valyria like the targaryens before the doom.
@johnwayne9828 If Velaryons have dragon riders genes then why cant Corly ride one?
@ongftpI guess for the same reason vesarys didn't ride a dragon, they're not infinite, there's limited amounts so limited riders. It's not like it's an unknown, the lore is clear, velaryons were dragon riders from old valyria too.
In the books Alicent & Rhaenyra aren't that close or close in age really. I could be wrong but ask your expert intern
Just because it isn't documented in the book that they were close doesn't mean they weren't. The book is a third hand account from people who heard the stories and documented them as best as they could. This was done so GRRM could help the writers fill in the blanks.
Written by a 3rd hand account.
