- The first lesson goes really smooth. Though the teacher is weird, and I'm seeing nearly headless people. And I almost died. And I learned that all wizards have to be natural born acrobats.
But the spell is cool, see for yourselves.
(I actually pointed out 4 possible secret areas, though it is possible that the very first one was not meant to be a secret)
Secret 1 06:45 - 07:05
Secret 2 08:05 - 08:35
Secret 3 09:05 - 09:33
Secret 4 09:47 - 10:11

I sometimes forget how excellent the music in this game was. You may not know, but this game's soundtrack was composed by Jeremy Soule, the composer from the Guild Wars and Elder Scrolls games.
That's really cool. Looking back, the soundtracks were really a big part of these games. Hearing the music really brings back all the nostalgia.
Duuude I never knew that, but I've always had nostalgia for this game's soundtrack and can definitely hear similarities with GW and TES, which also have insanely good soundtracks
The wj
Hole sound design in this game is got tier. Borderline asmr
Nostalgia ♥
I remember Peeves still laughing at this point would piss me off to no end when I was younger.
So true!
This game doesn't get the credit it deserves. It was maybe a bit cheap, the storyline was made awfully and the gameplay was not really revolutionary, however this game is a perfect example of how textures and music make an atmosphere. The "feel" of this game was awazing. And in my opinion the music in future HP games was not even half as good as the music in this one.
Chamber Of Secrets really perfected this one. And although Prisoner was a bit complicated, that was really good as well. After that, they just adapted the movies.
Chamber had much better gameplay, almost in every way really. Map design and locations where great. It actually had sort of a story. But still, it had this kind of goofier style to it. And the music, in my personal opinion, was not as good as in Stone.
Oh, and they ruined quidditch.
+AyyPolansky At least the mouths moved. And Harry didn't do that silly sequence every time he picked up a Wizard card.
Playied it in 2002..the music makes me wanna cry...
It captured the magic of this.time...ita literallym magic
i know i wasnt alone... I didn't think that it was all that bad...
For some reason this part was so hard as kid like as a kid u could hardly stay in the lines drawing on paper but on a computer it was damn near impossible
I relate to this so much, I literally was there for 3 hours with my sister trying do this lol
For real... I still remember the mouse control was very poorly optimized, and slippery as hell. At least they tightened it up in the later games.
I had problems with drawing the flipendo spell as a kid because I had shaky hands and ended up botching it a lot XD
Yeah, It's hard with shaky hands
I almost never got 4/4. Not long ago I tried doing it with a tablet but the cursor just fucked out so I'm guessing the game didn't support it lol
Oh god, I still have trouble with that minigame. I revisited this game recently, and everything was so much easier than I remembered, except me still not being able to get 4/4 on the drawing.
Same
CubedMelons I did often get 4/4. Even 100% sometimes.
gives me so many memories from the childhood
It sounds like Harry is saying "Nintendo."
Take a look at 03:27 , you'll notice "Find 3 secret areas" message on the loading screen. This game however does not notify you when you actually reach a secret so it's up to the player to guess. But secrets always contain some sort of reward inside, so that's why I pointed out 4 possible secrets to make sure you'll find them all. The "secret" you mentioned is just a mere shortcut to the professor in case you'll fall down from the bridge at 04:02 , and as you may see, it contains no reward.
0:22 Not sure how a spell that lets you push boxes around will protect you from dark magic, but you're the teach, Quirrell.
Harry Potter beat Voldemort with Flipendo and Wingardium Leviosa in the final battle lmao
Alex Wingardium Leviosa? Since when? I only ever used Flipendo.
Imagine how infuriating it might be to be beaten by a simple Knock Back Jinx.
If you stand in front of the wall when nearly headless nick leaves and rotate the camera you can see him just chilling inside the wall haha
Drawing Flipendo maybe the hardest thing in this game for me the hardest now and before XDDD
Did you FORGET gringots?
@@Rexwar31 Oh No that 3 part was so hard
Don't mind Lord Voldemort on my head, children xDD lol :D that was nice!
Peeves laugh on the background makes me so weak
It may sound silly, but we where struggling like heck at the part where we had to learn how to cast the spell. We had no idea we had to press the left button on the mouse and maintain pressed.
you no
as far as games based on movies
harry potter pc 1 and 2 were pretty fun for their times
I miss them both
did anyone else get a little tired of hearing flippendo every time he had to do the spell?
Danielle Harris sometimes I would say Nintendo every time Harry would use that spell.
@@johnnykopp7304 Sometimes The PC version glitches and Harry sounds like He is saying Nentindo
@@johnnykopp7304 Oops I mean Nintendo
@Danielle Dantzer
No, not at all. It's a fun word to say! Flipendo flipendo fliiiiiiipeeeeeeeendooooooooo! FLIPENDO FLIPENDO FLIIIIIIIPEEEEEEEENDOOOOOOOOO!
While I have never played the PC version, I find that it is quite good. I played the GBC version
2:00 perfect!
it's a bit glitchy with Peeve's laughing in the background
i've been trying the first flipendo for 30 minutes now xD
Man, such nostalgia.
70 marks are the maximum you could score in filipendo challenge?
50 for drawing and 20 for 8 challenge stars.
I had a potato PC at that time. It lagged like a nightmare. Casting flipendo was more like: FF-FLL-LIII-P-P-PE-PEEND-DD-DO
That makes sense given Quirrel’s speech
How did you do that without messing up
I forgot voldemort taught flapindo
Epic Nostalgia!!!!
Man the amount of times this school went through defence against the dark arts teachers cause each of them had a bad history
i think you might of missed Bertie bot beans under the bridge near the 1st star
I never saw any.
@@CeilingFanVideosOnYT If so it must have been A demo version
Not sure if anyone knows how to fix a glitch with this level. I am replaying the game on my old PC but no matter how good I do the flipendo spell it won’t go past 49%. Even if I’m doing it perfectly. Any ideas?
I always had problems drawing out the spells
ladycplum same here.
@@johnnykopp7304 Me too
You're not alone; the in-game cursor was very poorly-optimized and stiff.
"And I learned that all wizards have to be natural born acrobats." Well, the PC version is basically a TR clone after all. lol
you are amazing i never make all 4/4
it's too easy to do 4\4 i've done it too much before, but now i can't because i have a problem when i cast thé spell in exercice and i don't now how to edit it
Aymen Bhl easy ? maybe in chamber there is a bit hard sometimes i did it in quirel or hermiona but never ever or all anyway what ever happend you can have 4/4 and slytherin still be better then you ... but and end thay fuck it XD
+BARTOL CHERRY

Aymen Bhl sorry i cant help idk why you cant cast spell well maybe you are to slow ? draw bad ? idk ask uncle google he have all problems
+BARTOL CHERRY
OK thanks is a small problem if you want to now read the comment of the other video after this video ;they have the same problem but I want to ask :do you still playing this game ??? and sorry for the disturb
Dude i cant pass flipendo spell. I draw it perfect and i cant pass it . I reach max 40% . Why is this happening?
You must draw it completely inside and not any part outside.
@@CeilingFanVideosOnYT i drew inside and still got 40% max
I can't pass the first Magick spell part!!!! PLEASE HELP ME, I'M BEGGING YOU
It's a known bug with this game, that the detection of your wand on the actual pattern yields little to no points.
I recorded this playthrough on an old Windows Vista laptop and encountered no problems as you can see.
Playing the game on a laptop with Windows 7 however, made it almost impossible for me to finish Flipendo or Alohomora spells. What fixed the problem for me on all spells except Lumos was running the game on Windows 98/ME compatibility mode (right click on the game icon - the executable, not the desktop shortcut - and choose a compatibility mode from the drop down menu on the Compatibility tab). Hope this helps!
zelgadis115 Thank you soo much for the quick respond, I'll try it, thank you!!!!
+Nuriddin Mamadnazarov

Nuriddin Mamadnazarov Nice to know I'm not alone on this blasted problem.
😣😁 Never gotten full house points on all of 'em. Think I lucked out once on the Herbology one. Though the spell challenges suck this still stands as one of my most favorite games of all time. Just so charming, isn't it?😄
since this is WB why couldn't they use some of the original music score from the movies?
David Forsberg It’s because John Williams hadn’t written the score by that time. Still, the music is eerily similar in some ways to what John Williams composed.
@@christianb572 Yes They probably whould have been sued if They did
i hated the flippendo spell. first of all that spell wasn't in the books or movies. secondly because my hand wasn't steady and he made you do it like 5 times
It was on some books.
Ugh peeves in the backround xc
at least the games remember him, unlike the movies
@@roninwarriorsfanHe was going to be in the first Movie but The Director Chris Columbus was very disappointed with the result of the footage and decided to delete it all.
Since flipendo is colored orange in this game, can I describe the use of flipendo as an orange colored spell in my fanfictions?
Well, it's purple in Hogwarts Legacy. And it's also different colors in the handheld ports.
