From what i have seen, Ripple Effect is solely focused on RedSec, the main game and multiplayer is being worked on by the Dice Dev team, iirc.

That’s only half true, they both get funding and resources from the same place soooo it doesn’t really make a difference, aside from now there are 2 serparate studios that won’t communicate nearly as well as one company
@Lemmesipdat They don't need to communicate well... They're separate experiences and the funding is looking very promising. I mean they sold tons of copies and had a majorly successful launch even with a 70$ minimum price tag. They will be fine at least for a few years. Honestly the value is way wayyy better than cod. COD the multiplayer sucks and battlefield has an amazing regular multiplayer now a long side a really promising BR. I think the future looks good for this game.
6:15 there's a 5-minute AFK timer which will kick you after 5 minutes of no inputs even while spectating, pressing any button (e.g. opening the map) every now and again should prevent this
I didn't realize it was in BR and i died with a few squads left. my squad got into a fight with the last two squads and had a chance to win and i got kicked..
@YeahhDan Warzone doesn't have any AFK timer at all (except at the very start of a match) specifically because BR is a slower gamemode where people will just sit still for multiple minutes waiting for circle to push them

I think less people are afraid to move because the circle continuously gets smaller. There are no waiting periods for it to shrink to the next zone.

The movement not being sweaty helps a ton for average players. That also keeps people from moving in warzone when you think about it
Also because it’s new, people want to move; explore the map and learn where good locations are. Give it a few weeks and there will be some more ‘campers’
@chriswyatt9869with everything being able to blow up and crumble. Hiding in a house or building doesnt help much. If they know you're in there. Expect the structure to come down.

Problem is that the finals is 50x better.
People are used to that game so it is sweaty as fk, but they know how to play. So you can play fine with random teammates just fine.
And on top of that the finals looks and feels much better.
Gauntlet with random team is suffering at maximum level. These people are brain dead, deaf, Blind and absolutely unwilling to play as a team.
It will probably get better over time, but first experience was insanely bad
@sefin84 honestly think you got a very bad team on your first experience. I picked up my first squad off the first game after we almost got a dub and to me I thought that was pretty dope. Usually for any other game most of my squads are trash but everyone caught on pretty quickly in most of my experiences during gauntlet. What’s makes it crazier is I was the only one with a mic lol and the dudes were lower levels I expected us to get smacked.
Remember guys, 3 Different Studios worked separately on Single, Multi and now Redsec; As you u can see they're different but same Battlefield Theme. I think it's a refreshing game and most of negative reviews are about Multiplayer people crying that Battle Royale got Bigger map (the biggest ever in BF) while Multiplayer are getting smaller COD like.. idk im fine with the current Battlefield 6, it makes me happy, That's what important.
If thats true then imo the SP studio needs to be fired as it was pretty ass for even a one'n'done campaign as it was trying so hard to be to many things it wasnt.
redsec doesnt really pull people away from multiplayer, 90% of players i play with or against in redsec are literally low lvl who just started their free journey with battlefield.

Poor arguement every plane/jet since bf4 has had customisable classes. They are clearly planning on adding it as well as customising the jeep as the option is there just greyed out. The jeep will most likely only be changed by armour/mobility and the turret on top like tanks. Jets most likely different cannons and interchangeable bombs to target armour and infantry and once again manoeuvrability and speed increases. Also I can see them adding rocket pods and an emergency repair option.

I felt the same exact way about firestorm. It sadly didn’t have the content updates to keep people around. No custom loadouts too which i enjoyed and different biomes throughout the map. Still had the crazy moments you only get in battlefield

@ThaEshayRambo2122 Its pretty good. Multiple game modes with 8 teams, each has 4 players. The modes switch randomly through 4 rounds and teams who get the worst scores gets eliminated. Capture the flag, extraction, tdm, domination, and a few more.

One of my favorite parts of the br is that while being a br it also has a sandbox feel to it. You can destroy buildings in creative ways and make it affect how the game plays.
Facts I have yet to play it, but from vids. Having an rpg actually feels competent now
I enjoyed taking out a tank and some enemies with the artillery strike its quite different to fortnite which I enioy and also gives you a break from the other modes so its a win id say
My old Warzone instincts kicked in the other day and I used a firestrike on myself while in a building to take out enemies on the roof. Nearly killed myself with the entire building collapsing lol.

Same people saying its bad play warzone all the time and cry about it being bad. Warzones bad and they want something different, but only if it's pretty much the same
they want the same but with some minor tweaks. but for 90% of warzone players i would say removing Sbmm would make the game amazing to them. never really been a br guy myself anyway so i dont really care. but sbmm seems to be the major gripe for people. everyone just wants to play against a lobby full of disabled people with no thumbs so they can drop 30 kills and get the win to give them that dopamine hit.

For me its simply amazing..
Intense battles and good gunfights. I love the classes you can pick, also the distruction is great and so is the graphics. The gameplay is perfect because its not as Fast and fake like warzone but its also not extremely slow its a perfect middle ground with a mix of tactical and a little faster gameplay

Been having a lot of fun on Redsec, mixes traditional BR concepts with some personal customization very well without making things super sweaty or meta. Love it
1:05 Its two way for us. For one, yes its good that it gives players other means to progress their gear without always going against other player through mission but on the other hand, most missions are actually a good way to find other players because you can have clashes where 2 teams picked the same mission and you will see them doing the mission. So its both teams that dont go towards player that often AND players that want to find players are benefitting with the missions.
The big problem with Redsec is the Audio. I can’t hear any enemies near me and they can’t hear me walking around either. It’s very bad
Amen. Teammates sound the same as enemies, and the audio of everything my own body is doing in-game is too much, frankly.

Just make tanks/ifv’s harder to get and make an active “tank hunter” mission/obj so everyone knows where they’re are periodically. Ping every 30 seconds eg. Otherwise I’d say it’s pretty fun otherwise

bro i wish i could play the game. they perm banned me right before the update dropped for "gameplay enhancement" even though i am using absolutely no gameplay enhancements on my computer or using any cronus. I'm just using a basic ps5 controller with the occasional keyboard and mouse sniping. and i even submitted a ticket with their support 2 days ago but they just keep pushing the time back. This whole situation sucks, i'm out $75 and can't play battlefield :/ it was probably the most fun i had on one since battlefield 1
there are a lot of people who have been crashing since the game came out, and EA has said nothing about it. need to put more light on that because there still is no fix
It's an amd issue for the most part btw, and it's driver related from my experience of helping folks on discord so far. It's almost all outdated display drivers or even Radeon itself
The attack jet and fighter jet have different jobs already so they didn't bother adding any customization for the weapons. Both jets will definitely get additional weapon customization's down the line though like the jets did in BF 2042.

7:35 go into big mode, grab a LTV, shove it into a wall in your spawn, get out before the health bar turns white, and pray the health bugs. If it bugs and doesn't fully heal, just repair the LTV all game and you should get it

I played yesterday with friends and it was pretty fun, shatterpoint aswell. The only problem we had is that in some parts of the map houses were bugged, walking trough doors, walls or falling through a roof when landing on it.
It's aight. WZ 2019 was honestly unbeatable though REDSEC is much better than current Warzone. The graphics are phenomenal and the atmosphere. Personally, I think its the best Free-2-Play shooter experience right now. It's like a mix between Arma and Battlefield 4.
Here are my cons:
It feels a bit crowded in certain areas and some areas feel very open. Who ever controls the high ground will win 95% of the time. The loot is mid tbh. There is quite a bit of bugs and not having solo option sucks as well. The Snipers are pretty OP but that could just be me since I play Recon primarily anyways. One thing I noticed too is that the servers can struggle finding players and the Que-times can take a little while. Engineer is pretty much a must-have for every squad. The UI (map, loadout, etc) can be overwhelming and can feel uncomfortable at times.
Things they should add:
I feel like they should add something that allows you to pick your missions each varying with different awards. A bigger variety of streaks would be nice. Add better rarity loot. Armor satchel upgrades would be great since it takes forever to load-up plates. More air vehicles like jets would be cool. And over-all they should add more maps too.
A good counter for recons is support walk in smoke players. I know he says class roles aren’t that important in red sec but in my experience if your squad are regular BF multiplayers (conquest, breakthrough, etc) that have a good idea on how to play their classes then that team will win most of the time. Had a buddy driving heavy armor and an engineer repairing, along with a walk in smoke support, plus a drone spotter = hella OP. The modes fairly new so I didnt expect most people to catch on but when they do, this modes gonna be a sweat fest trust me.
@LowFay4I have played maybe 6 games and only in 1 game did I find a vehicle key card. Is there a way to consistently get vehicle key cards? Because this strategy with engineer and recon and a vehicle sounds fun
a headshot does 175 damage, so no 1 hit kill on people with full hp and 2 plates, thats not op.
@emwols So as soon as we drop in after one or two missions are done you’ll see some missions in rotation that gives you a tank keycard for the reward. So I’d say just keep an eye out for the mission rotations or if you find a player that has a keycard already and kill them for it. You could also camp the vehicles lockers until another team comes to collect, which is a cheap way to get one but hey it works.
I love RedSec it feels so refreshing and the fire circle and tanks and helix are well balanced and sick it can be a horror game at times I’ve clutched sometimes redeploying and have watched my teammates clutch just barely with them slowly burning. I also opened a tank trailer. Well I was in the process then got ambushed and they stole the tank. Yes in the moment it sucked but the way it happened it was like an action movie and I love that I will remember that moment for a long time it was so cinematic and some guy ran up on my squad to get cracked but manage to survive and steal our helicopter we landed. The last circle I found myself army crawling under concrete tubes hiding from 2 tanks and a squad I was slowly damaging their armor. Just the stories I get from this game are far better than cod for example where I will forget the experience because all games played feel very repetitive and similar. Last thing I wanna say I know a lot of people aren’t fans of. I want jets in the br. I think it would be so cool to here the sound of jets dog fighting and doing nose dives into building or hit and runs but that’s just me I wouldn’t even be mad if I died to one it would make me cream hearing a brrrrrttt take me out ngl. Love the redsec vids Jev!

I don’t understand what people are complaining about. It’s not supposed to feel anything like CoD or Warzone so your impression of it is already bias. As a long time battlefield player it plays, feels, and looks like battlefield which is exactly what it SHOULD be doing. Coming from someone that’s played mostly Warzone for the last few years, Redsec is extremely fun and honestly might be my go to BR now instead of Warzone. Redsec is a nice breath of fresh air and honestly wouldn’t surprise me if Activision was paying bots to review bomb it seeing as BF6 is massacring CODs numbers and breaking its record number of players during the beta alone and then did it again at launch.

Feels like Blackout and battlefield mixed, the problem I’m seeing is that people are afraid to move around because the movement is so slow and you don’t wanna get caught in the middle of the open, running with your knife out definitely increases your speed but if you get caught with your knife out up close, you’re dead.
This faze guy is the most watchable among the other fazes out there.
He is way more sensible than many COD streamers.

The reason as to why people are leaving bad comments is because the devs made it so weekly challenges include some BR-only challenges instead of ''any mode'' challenges, arguing that because you bought the game you shouldn't NEED to go to a different mode to complete a challenge. What EA did to counteract this feature is they give us 5 rerolls per week to reroll any weekly we dont like, so i think most people didnt see that feature and left a bad review anyway. The other challenge that is BR-tied is the outfit, it is completely optional but people are still getting mad over it being with other outfit challenges when it could be split into 2 sections. It's a nothing-burger of an argument tbh

Sadly solos genuinely wouldn’t work you’d get the same classes everytime either support for infinite ammo or engineer for the vehicles. The only way to stop that is remove vehicles in solos but then engineer becomes actually useless to the point of obscurity.

Plenty of bugs that hinder the experience a ton, the radar on them hasnt worked since they were added over 2 months ago in the labs tests, no customization is likely because in one of the final labs tests before launch, they added customization for them and it was super buggy (things like the air-to-air missles going through countermeasures kinda like what the ifv is doing to aircraft thats painted rn (another annoying bug)) The fighter Jet is leages worse than the attack jet with its only benefit being a slightly better turn rate(especially since it cant have AtA missles like its intended. Very sad for someone like me that decided to really focus on jets this time around but i sitll like them in the game im almost mastery 50 with the AJ. Its definitely still playable and you can still destroy lobbies but its hard to actually express skill when missles go through your flares and your radar dosnt work for dogfights (especially with the insane jet vs. jet ttk) but thats another topic lmao
Hey jev or for any who didn’t know but whenever you open up orange boxes you get a guaranteed upgrade for your class specific weapon recon = snipers medics = lmgs etc. have fun out there

Opened the game--->tryed my first mach----> got a 0 info teammates---->tryed to get used with the gameplay and map----->sum sweaty enemy squad of friends erased my teammates in 5 seconds-----> tryed to play safe----->didnt even heard footsteps----->got stealth killed and T baged me with disrespect for no reason----->left the game mode and never tauching again....MP always better

the reviews make a fair point that RED SEC received way more attention than the rest of the game did. BF has always been about Conquest and the Conquest maps are incredibly lackluster in this game, even map designs in general are strange yet RED SEC got this huge map with demolishable buildings and a fuckton of locations
For the jet and vechiles that have (greyed out) weapons and utility are non chamgablr (as of now ) , so you have that only preset to fight with
The reviews say it’s horrible, the streamers say it’s the best thing since sliced bread, I thinks it has a cool concept but needs a lot of work.

@Jev the jets don’t have other options as far as weapons or gadgets yet. That’s why the option is greyed out.

Redsec is alright, needs some refinement but has good bones. I think armor plates need an increase. Maybe an increase in player health. But that could be tied to desync issues. Still feel like I die in 1 frame sometimes. Other than that once we understood how the game flowed we got a few wins in a row. I found there are a few ways to play. You can go hunting, or play position. Found 2 recons 1 engineer, 1 support seem to be the sauce. The ability to have a drone up all the time keeps you from getting jumped. I still prefer to play conquest or escalation but its fun I dont take it seriously.

Duos is cool. Squads feels so long and drawn out every game. Feels like you can plow through plenty of squads just to look up 35 minutes later and still see 75 people left
I wish there was solo for redsec, when i am being pushed by a two man and being in a sandwich between 2 teams. Oh and btw jet has no customisation because there are no upgrades yet for them
