Thanks. (p.s. Ian works as part of the team at Mainframe North. Mainframe North is run by me and, alongside Martin Vejdarski, we make up the development team working with Autodesk on MASH, CurveWarp, 3d Type etc etc ;-) )
excellent! i exchanged several emails with ian recently. he gave me the tips for my python script MASH tutorial. i'm currently preparing something about xGen. i am an admirer of duncan brinsmead. when we met in person first time, about 3 years ago in toronto, it turned out he was fond of me because of the video i made with peter neubäcker, the programmer of melodyne. duncan is a musician at heart, which i did not know before we met. small world. check out the wikipedia article about him. i took the key photograph.
I'm using this technique with a curve tool to make fairy lights and using the CURVE mode on MASH but the problem is that the wire is in the middle of the BULB object which I made, I tried freeze transformation, and it's not working I changed the pivot at well, What can I do for this any solution?
pls consult one of the maya groups on fBook or at autodesk. this video is 2 years old, and i have no time to look into it and try out things to answer your question.
This is late. I had the same issue. Just up the brush spacing. You can type in bigger values. Also back out of the paint brush by selecting another brush and re select it.
your tuts are by far the best out there
I've tried painting and inputting mesh to distribute over a mesh , but it deploying way more outer than ( 230 metre ) original mesh.
pls consult the maya AREA: ruclips.net/video/f1WKbpokcmk/видео.html
OMG, THANK YOU SO MUCH, That Helped Me ALOT, Thanks again
Thanks for sharing. Tip - if you drag in your Torus as a 'Paint Mash' before using the Collide brush your points will stay on the surface.
thanks for your tip! i will put it in the description and, of course, credit you. currently no time to reproduce your result.
