@@garthsutcliffe1540 thank for watching my videos. I truly appreciate you and for the comment. I have been away from building and the hobby in general taking care of my health at the moment. I am working on getting better physically and mentally so that I can get back to the awesome hobby we all enjoy.
Mate, awesome work. So much time in building these models without taking into consideration filming it as well. Bet this will be very precise in the air given how you have built it.
I am really impressed with your videos. Just a few people still build from kits and your work is outstanding. Keep them coming. I only regret that not much detail is included, because of filming time, I guess. Regards
Well I had built this aircraft back in 2019 or beginning of 2020 and it sat waiting for covering. I ended up placing the 300 on the back burner and ended up finishing the Ultimate and Chipmunk, then I started the Top Flite Cessna 182. Also no build video of the 300 as well only because it was a time that I was not making content for my channel.

@@NathanWaldock the line looped onto it's self is the vent line. This acts like a air trap so when you perform inverted maneuvers or nose down like dives etc the fuel does not just start spilling out through the vent line.
@@NathanWaldock it is advised to do on gas engines in general. One other example is tilting the model on its nose for any reason without a looped air vent line the fuel will just flow out of the line quicker than you can say "crap". With the vent line looped it prevents the fuel from spilling out acting like your kitchen sink drain trap.
@@NathanWaldock I am glad that my videos provided some help. The reason why I do the videos in this manner. My goal is to help those who have questions or just starting out in this awesome hobby. I try and tailor it for beginners but at the sametime throw in some advanced tips as well. Everyone will take what will apply to them. I truly appreciate you for the comments and watching my videos.
@@BayonasRCWorld thanks! I just uploaded a progress video of my Extra 300. The video is pretty bland compared to your masterpieces, but I’m just getting started uploading videos. Lol. Thanks for the reply. I have a few things left to order for my Extra. I can’t wait for spring. It’s 19 degrees here now. Lol
The Ultimate, the Cub and many other Carl Goldberg kits are built the same if using the included wired gear. I have yet to experience that weak point in any of them. My Ultimate was perfect! Besides the dang servo failure. So the extra is no different to me. I do plan on a carbon fiber landing gear replacement of the wired gear. But no I did not reinforce the landing gear area.
I have seen many people reinforce lots of areas on Carl Goldberg kits that really did not need it. I seen people reinforce a whole Sig Citabria in majority of the frame and wing that did not even need it! Don't over think it! If I can't land for crap and break my gear all the time I will say the gear is a weak point yet in actuality the weak point is my landing. Just as an example.
@@BayonasRCWorld yeah. That literally made me sick. I’ve crashed 2 Ultimate Biplanes. One of them on the maiden. That’s not a good feeling. I have two more kits in the stash. After my Extra is done, I’ll be building another Ultimate. I do mine like the box cover.
All of your work is spot on keep it up
Thanks a bunch.

Andy's working on a prime rib! Lol
Just wondering what 12 volt battery do you use for your starter?
for my electric starter I am using a 3S 5000mAh Lipo
You mentioned thinner for removing color transfer. What kind of thinner do you use?

@@BayonasRCWorld Thank you!
Nice work as always mate 🤙just a question regarding the tank, why do much extra fuel line wrapped up ? Thanks

@BayonasRCWorld ok thanks so is this required to do in all gas engines? Or just for doing 3 D ?
By the way your covering vids have helped me out in a lot of ways ,thanks 🤙🤙🤙

In before Andrew Gideon, lol!
Hehehehehehehehehehe
What brand of pushrod set up did you go with for your dual elevator servos. I plan on doing the same for my Extra.
I used Sullivan Pushrods, 36" Steel Rod w/Clevis(2)

Did you reinforce the landing gear block? If not, I’ve read that it’s a weak spot on the Extra 300.

@@BayonasRCWorld I agree. It’s most likely a pilot error thing if you break your landing gear while landing. Lol. Your Extra is looking great!
@@FranksModelAviationWorkshop i should have reinforced a new servo on my CG Ultimate huh. Bwhahahahahahahahhaha
