Been there, done that. 1990 was a bad fall for digging spuds in western Washington. We had four 2 row Lockwood diggers with 3 IH 1066 2 wd and one 4455 with mfwd. We had to pull trucks in and out of the field and along side the diggers as well as pulling the digger tractors. Spuds and clay mud a foot thick going up side elevator chain and into the truck. Bad digging year!!!😖
Russ carney, hes probably spinning with the lock anyway and if he locks it then the wheels might spin on the right side and it will mess up for the harvester. From personal experience.
