At KingCon, all eyes were on Mk Leo, who had the opportunity to not only secure another major victory but also to tie with HungryBox for the most majors won in Smash history. However, after a series of setbacks and a poor performance at Genesis X, doubts arose about whether Mk Leo still posed a threat or had become merely a stepping stone for others.
Europe witnessed a surprising turn of events as Neo, the #1 seed, suffered an unexpected defeat to Neeroz. Meanwhile, other notable players like Marss faced early exits from the tournament, while Tarik & Bloom4eva showcasing the potential of Greninja and Bayonetta. Neo is first because the winner of genesis was invited. It was zomba, he couldn't come the invitation was passed to tweek, couldn't come the was neo
Yea someone else mentioned it also. Guess Im more surprised they didnt reseed the first couple seeds due to this if that makes sense.

Neo got seeded first because he came in place of Zomba....Im surprised you didnt know that...
ah Thanks I actually had no idea. Its a bit strange to me though cause in normal situations just cause Zomba won genesis they would normally give Spargo the Legacy seeding or in this instance reseed the bracket to account for Neo not being Zomba and all.
Neo being the highest placing Genesis player who could go is crazy…that game 5 last stock corrin ditto was more than just a fight for best corrin in the world

I might have said this before but I feel like he's doing the Japanese player thing where they switch characters mid set, but he's doing it over the course of years so people won't figure him out and have to relearn everything because he suddenly found some new broken tech

If winners and grand finals can't tell you why then, I guess jokers honest my bad but it would be remiss of me not to mention how easy it is for joker to move around and whiff punish like it ain't no thing
And he can already outcamp cloud why did sakurai think he needed a reflector, and the strongest in the game at that too? So many poor decisions imo
Yeah no hate on Leo but some people are carried with Joker, mostly talking to the online ones. So annoying to fight ngl
In this meta Leo's gotta play the best character that'll allow him to win. Byleth, Lucina / fire emblem aint cutting it imo. Joker is broken AF and hes such a good player he's trying to exploit Joker to win. And even with that in mind he still comes up short and gets 25th at Genesis X for example. Meta is brutal
