Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
His regional accent when he sings comes through strong. That would usually hinder singers. But Brian is one of those rare singers. When it actually helps them sound better.
So many great tracks over so many years, & never losing their energy. Brian's early voice has so much grit. Truly one of the great bands! Thanks Anna!🙏🙏
Yes, what a way to start the new year Anna, had to cast this thru my stereo and tv for this performance. wow almost like being there ..keep it up in 2023 . Those fans in south america sure know how to rock. only a mere 100 thousand plus ,lol.
I've been an AC/DC fan for a very long time, love how much energy their songs have. If I have to do something like house cleaning, they are one of my go to bands to just put me in a really good mood and give me the energy to do stuff I hate, lol. A definite highlight for me was seeing them in concert. You could feel the energy from the band and the crowd, so amazing!
Day has been crazy. Sorry I missed this great song and your reaction. When you have this many damn people with 'thunder' in their hearts and voices, you have a masterpiece. May diseases subside so massive audiences return. TY Anna.
120 Thousand Audience! (or was that across 3 days... ) Anyways... Forget about the camera jumping - siesmological equipment picked up this crowd jumping from many Klms away! The atmosphere being there in that crowd must have been incredible. These days would we / organisers allow such a crowd to gather? The surge / crush potential would be very scary. Brian didn't lose his voice but, sadly, he did lose his hearing. Only One AC/DC. 😍🤩
I saw AD/DC in the 1990s and it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to, although my ears were ringing for a week. It was pure energy and so much fun.

Being a Bon Scott fan, I would love to se you react to some of their old stuff. Bon Scott had a really distinct voice that I'm sure you would love to analyze.
Anna, Anna, Anna! I am recovering from a dislocated ankle and I turn on my computer to see this. Great reaction to an unreal live band. Great to talk to my Finnish friend.
Mikeee, happy to see your comment! 😊 Sending you loads of love for your recovery, always a pleasure to keep you company with my reaction videos! Be well! xx
This was actually recorded during a time when Brian's hearing had deteriorated and he stated in some interviews he sang using "muscle memory"... which is why, if you'll note, instead of the sharp edges to his phrasing like you hear in the 'official video' and earlier recordings, he has a tendency to slide down and let the phrase 'droop' in this version.. A performance where you get to see more of his posture (and the sharp edged phrasing) is the Thunderstruck - Live at Donington 8/17/91 which was recorded almost 20 years prior to the 2009 performance at River Plate. He has since procured some 'aural assistance' devices (not hearing aids per se, but apparently VERY effective. The process is apparently a trade secret) and, after leaving the band for several years, has returned.
And well I’d say he figured it by now, and long ago, as they still did this, after they’d been doing longer than you and me have been alive, a classic, by icons, and always great.
This is one of my favorite songs, but how much I like this song was superseded by just watching you react to it. I'm sure you're younger than my youngest child, but it was just so enjoyable watching you react to this, the look in your eyes and speaking in Finnish (what a beautiful language)--you could have reacted to something I don't like, and I believe I'd still have enjoyed it.
Neat reaction & analysis🙂 It’s cool to hear this song played as the Tampa Bay Lightning 🏒 team game opening song when the Thunder Kid skates onto the ice in Amalie Arena 🙂⚡️
A little off topic, but wow, I've never heard the Finnish language spoken before. As an English speaker it sounds like it must be very difficult to learn. Prior to finding your channel I thought my Sako was the coolest thing to come out of Finland, but now I think it must be you! Great review of a song that never gets old.
@@annavaskelainen I think you've answered your own question- of course it does, double cool! Most Americans don't even know what a Sako is, so you get bonus points for owning one. They all have beautiful workmanship.
I once read a quote from Angus Young, that it always takes him hours to come down after every show; their concerts rock that hard and he puts that much energy into his live performances.
Doesn't get much more iconic Rock than AC/DC. On a side note, I love listening to you speak in your native language- I could listen for quite a while-lol.
Another singer who is somewhat like this is Mr. Lordi from the Finnish band Lordi. His voice is much deeper and more of a growl, but he has a lot of projecting power. They won Eurovision in 1996 with the song Hard Rock Hallelujah, and they're still going today.
Hyvää päivää, Anna, me pidämme rockista Argentiinassa ja ihmiset sekoavat konserttien aikana🤘. I hope my Finnish makes sense, it's a little bit rusty 😅. New sub 👍

It actually wasn't booze and cigs that made his voice that way. He's always sounded that way, even before he joined the band.
He asked for cig and booze as soon he saw the daylight, so I have to disegree.. 😉

Brian carefully nurses that voice with large quantities of whiskey, cigarettes... and gargling hot gravel.
