I like it, but I think this thing would really shine with a versatile boost in front of it. I wish they had given the option to run the channels in series! I think that would take this pedal to another level! Dr. Z, you are more than welcome to implement this idea! All I ask is a decent discount on the V2 of this pedal! :)
It's an active eq and level control (ie they don't just cut from a maximum amount). Having these run in series in most applications will be much to saturated. I think you are better off using it for one application only. Or maybe use one side as a light full range boost and then hit it with the overdrive (with the cut switch) on the other side when you engage your lead pickup. Use the tone knob on the lead pickup to make adjustments.
This effect is on My MUTLI-ZOOM and I find myself using it often with a BLACKSTAR AMP. LOVE it!
That was quick response Dr. Z.
I thought they had stopped making this pedal!!! That germanium side awesomeness!!! MOSFET side ain’t bad either... and that orange rocker!!!! 😁
Sound like same with boss OD2

Or you can just buy 2 ;)
step on the channel button to get... the same sound
lexist7 - Yeah. I’m colourblind, so for me it even looks the same too!
@@BlueStratRedStrat oh man. Without being rude, that's funny! I got a chuckle out of that.
Not very pleasant, not worth the investment. Stick to amps Dr. Z
Play one in person, you'll change your tune.
Sounds like.............an overdrive pedal
Initially it reminded me of a Z, which is interesting and good. What about anyone else?
Why does it say green when its blue?
Bypass is blue, then on the left side there is the green and red channels.
That sounds yummy.
Nice work. Got one of this with a Ross comp in the how many pedals are at Sweetwater pile.
Mmmmmmmn. Come on now.

Too boxy for my liking..considering the price.
