    I realized the other day that I still have my sparkly flats from my prom that I’ve only worn once so you best bet I’m going to re-wear them for my wedding when I finally get married 😂

    A tradition for women (and for men as well) was to wear boots for formal morning occasions before switching to heels or pumps in the evening. If you're walking through a grassy or rough area, this could be a good tradition to uphold.

      It's definitely hard to grow such a niche topic, especially when there are so few people to collaborate with! Thanks for your support :)

    Well, living in Mid-Eastern Europe, it's cold here most of the year. And not like 15C California cold, but like -10 to 10C, this winter is about -10 to -20 soooo yeah early autumn to mid spring wedding guests are wearing tights, bride at least stockings if not tights for the ceremony part. If they have an indoor party, not dinner, which is popular too, the people would often change to tan stockings/tights, but mostly wearing none is considered inappropriate

    I’m getting plain white converse for my wedding day and my bridesmaids have matching, firstly i want to be comfortable and want my girls to be able to dance all night with me. I also want to be able to wear them again and again and I love the style 🥰🥰

    I want to wear white ballroom dancing shoes for my waltzes because they’re a million times better for dancing or I might put felt on the bottoms of some normal shoes.

    What do you think of a ruffle type ballgown, with a cathedral length veil? I have been trying to find examples but i haven't found what I was looking for

    have you seen anybody wear oxfords? those are prob my fav type of shoe but idk how they could go with a wedding dress. flats are too flat for me and heels are only ok if theyre a strapped preferably kitten heel prob max 2 inches haha i LOVED your blue suede shoes! maybe two shoes is the way to go haha

      I actually changed into flip flops at some point into my reception because my feet couldn't take it anymore and I refuse to be barefoot at any event. Nobody knew! Dresses hide a lot, so honestly most shoes will never be seen ;)

      Kitten heels are a bit dated but there are SO many 1 and 2 inch block heels that are incredibly adorable. Block heels can even be sexier than stilettos because your legs look longer without it appearing as though the shoe is doing all the work!

    Another tip I heard was to test that any bling on your shoes doesn't catch on your dress

    • @cavinelizabeth
      @cavinelizabeth  2 года назад

      Yes! Jewels will catch on soft silks and tulle.

      I like Bella Belle Shoes. If you like trying on shoes in person, it really depends on budget. Anywhere from Target to Nordstrom!

    Should your shoes show while wearing your wedding dress? Example while you walk or the tips of your shoes?

    • @cavinelizabeth
      @cavinelizabeth  3 года назад +2

      Usually the shoes won't show unless you have a slit or you're holding up your dress while you're walking. Some brides will wear ultra comfy bridal sneakers for this reason ;)

    Even large breast no bra? This news to me

    • @cavinelizabeth
      @cavinelizabeth  5 месяцев назад

      Any well-constructed dress should be supportive enough with the cup, boning, straps, etc. I don't think any of our brides have worn bras with their dresses. We give them the perfect fit so they don't need a bra. Some dresses even have waist stays to give more support to the dress. High quality alterations are key, though. A perfect fit will be so much more supportive.
