2001-2005 YAMAHA FZ1 TPS ADJUSTMENT TUTORIAL

I decided to make a video for anyone that is unsure how exactly to do this project. Its SUPER easy to do and you dont have to spend $40+ to get an ignition advancer if you don't want to.

So what rpm did you set it to? Like what was the goal? You started and said it was around 5000, then you messed with it and ended up at 5000. So what did you change? Did you put it a little higher than 5000? I have this bike, needs some throttle to start when cold.

I set it per Ivan's instructions for his full jet kit I installed onto my bike. It looked like it was at 5k in the video but I had it twitching just a touch higher. This plus a solid carb syncing helped my cold start problem emmensly

Bro can you explain me what is this cable for ? My dog ripped the cable from it but the bike still turns on

No problem man! I couldn't find a video of the proccess so i tried my best to help myself (for future reference haha) and everyone else out!
i didnt do a perfect job and i apologize its a bit hard to see at times what the tach is doing😅 lol i was surprised the vid came out as good as it did cause i have stage fright like crazy😂🤣😂
One day i will probably make a better video of the process so it can be seen better... I was still learning what my camera can and cant see then😅

Hahaha🤣 i knew of it for a while before this vid was made but never had much of a reason to make it until i had to do it myself and couldn't find a vid of the process🤣
