To me, this song has the most difficult plot to follow in the entire series. It took me a few days of research to understand what was going on in order to transcribe my own lyrics. So, for anyone who was similarly confused, here's a brief (and very watered down) explanation of what is going on in this song:
- Prince Kyle realizes that his mother, Queen Prim, put him under a pride/lust spell (causing him to love Michaela instead of Rilliane) in hope of plunging the land into war
- He believes that the only way to protect the world from further harm is to kill his mother, who is currently at the top of a clocktower
- Yukina, the daughter of a historian/author accompanies him on his quest in order to record the events so that she can later publish a book that reveals how Prim was responsible for all the events in "The Story of Evil" 1-6
- Before Kyle reaches the top of the tower he is confronted by his not particularly sane sister, Ney, who tries to assassinate him for killing their mother, Prim
- Through a combination of Michaela's protection and help from Yukina, Kyle manages to fend off Ney, only to reach the top of the tower and discover his mother's corpse
- Ney killed Prim herself in a fit of rage and then convinced herself that it was Kyle's doing

Germaine was the red swordwoman who wanted Rilliane dead because she got her adoptive father, Leonarth, killed.
Yukina was the young girl who write down all the story of evil.

It was Germaine who helped Kyle in the Clocktower not Yukina, because Kyle and Germaine said Yukina was too young to go with the army to the castle, and also Kyle was there when Ney stabbed Prim, Kyle didn't really want to kill Prim he was just looking for her to ask her why she sent him a mirror with a demon in it then Ney came and when Prim ignored her and kept talking to Kyle Ney got angry and stabbed her before turning on Kyle

This song, more than any others in the Story of Evil sub-series, kind of make it clear that this is not entirely a self-contained story.
To the unaware, The Story of Evil is one of the two or three more dense parts of a larger series called the Evillious Chronicles, which largely is driven by 7 artifacts which contain the spirits of the 7 Deadly Sins of the Abrahamic Religions. The focus of the Story is Pride, represented by a Set of Mirrors, which Rilliane (Rin) was infected by, but just be aware there are other artifacts that make their appearance as well as characters whom I will barely touch on as they would require a full Wiki page devoted to them (Like the pretty good Evilious Chronicles Wiki for example).
So, trying to mention things in Chronological Order as they are relevant to this song...
-Prim (The Mother in this song) was born with Malice (also known a Hereditary Evil Raiser Syndrome (HERS)), which is something set up in the prologue of the series and just kind of runs in the background...basically anyone doing anything evil is usually infected with Malice.
-Prim used to be roommates with Anne (The Mother of Rilliane and Allen (Len)), and they both were crushing hard of Arth (The King Born out of Mud and The Father of Rilliane and Allen).
-Prim didn't take Anne getting Arth well, but hid it well. She went on to marry into the Marlon Royal Family and give birth to Kyle Marlon (Kaito)
-While Anne was away for a bit, Prim visited Lucifenia (the Kingdom of Yellow) and used the Artifact of Lust (A Katana...for some reason) to have a brief affair with Arth and went back to Marlon to give birth to Arth's Illegitimate daughter (Ney) (At this point, I generally just start calling her Morgana, as Clearly this whole deal is based off King Arthur...Arth is Arthur, Anne is Guenevere, Leon (The Red Knight and Germaine's (Meiko) Adopted Father) is Lancelot, Prim is Morgana le Fay, and Ney (Neru) is Mordred...)
-Ney, while officially thought to be Kyle's full-blooded younger sister, is raised apart from him, trained to be Prim's Assassin by Irena Clockworker/Abyss I.R. (Long story on who she is, same with her "Good" Counterpart, Elluka Clockworker).
-Kyle engaged to Rilliane, Fully intends to marry her when she's old enough.
-Claireth (Haku) and Micheala (Miku) were hired by Yukina's Mother, with Claireth quickly becoming Yukina's friend and nanny.
-Prim uses the Artifact of Lust (Remember she has that) to make Kyle Fall in love with Micheala, knowing that Rilliane was already subject to the Artifact of Pride and wouldn't take it well.
-Micheala finds out Kyle is engaged and dumps him, Kyle breaks his engagement to try and get Micheala back.
-Lucifrenia invades Elphegort (the Country of Green).
-Despite what videos tend to show, it was actually Ney that killed Micheala, Allen just admitted to doing it.
-Yukina finds out that this new Nun working closely with Clarith after the Lucifrenian Revolution was, in fact, Rin. Hears her side of the story and decides she just needs to write everything about this story she can down for prosperity.
-Prim uses the newly-acquired Mirrors of Pride to make Kyle Prideful, which Germaine and Yukina break him free of it.
-Kyle and Yukina go do confront Prim, only to find Ney killed her already. Banica Conchita (Demon of Gluttony, Long Story) collects Ney's Soul as Ney was the reincarnation of Arte, One of her Servants...who herself was a reincarnation of Gretel (long story as well, just know that Hansel and Gretel are important).
I came cuz I didn't know that Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil, and Regret Message had other songs and stories with the other characters. Thanks for making the whole thing! But I am confused, did Mothy make the songs based on a novel? And how come other known people on RUclips that does other Vocaloid covers only did covers for Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil and Regret Message only? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't even know the other songs existed! I wouldn't even know it was based on a novel becuz of the comments ;-;
The novels are based on the songs!
Aierie is correct, the songs came first and then the novels arose from them. I can't speak for anybody else of course as to why no one covered the latter half of the series, but I'll admit that a huge motivation for making this complete series was the fact that I'd be the first one to do so to my knowledge. There weren't any fleshed out english translations available for most of the songs after Regret Message, so in order to make english covers for the rest of the series you have to write the lyrics yourself, which takes a lot more time, effort, and research into the lore than even I initially anticipated. There also aren't instrumental tracks available for the songs post-Weigenlied so you would have to make those yourself as well. I'd imagine most people simply don't have the time and/or technology to do so for songs that may or may not be popular. It actually came a great surprise to me that so many people were interested in english versions of the later songs like "A Hero's Armor" and "That King was Born from Mud".

Yeah! That evil bitch can go rot in hell along with Irina for all I care. Both of them are the main reasons why all of the characters' lives in story of evil became total s*it. It was all their fault yet they made Riliane into a scapegoat for all the evil deeds that happened, ruined lots of lives and relationships and even tho Riliane fled from execution and just wanted to fix her life by becoming a nun along with her friend Clarith, they still tried to ruin her life by trying to influence Clarith (which they know as Riliane 's bff or only friend after the tragic events) into possessing Riliane again and even tried to kill Riliane. Gosh, I really hate both of them
@@bellacupcakes4765 don't forget allen and kyle. They turned allen into an evil figure in his life in the flesh. And kyle kost everyone important to him and he was used by his own mother. That's scary if your mother is like that. Prim ruined everyone even three countries and her own family

Its very infuriating that all of this happened just because someone's best friend got married to that someone's crush, maybe if their motivation for revenge may be more serious, tragic or logical at some point I won't hate them as much but since their reasons are extremely petty it made my extreme hatred for them even larger. Ugh I wish they'll have a punishment that's very slow and excruciating like the ones in Game of thrones tbh, way worse than Cersei's walk of shame, way way way worse and slower than Theon's personal hell at the hands of Ramsay, etc. I will gladly watch them get punished for it : ) don't forget Clarith as well too, they both know Clarith is close with Riliane so there's a possibility they'll kill her too for knowing information or they'll try to destroy their friendship but if Clarith insists to stay by Riliane's side then they'll probably murder her in cold blood, it never happened tho in Canon story but if smth like that happens atleast I want Clarith's speech to be moving, passionate, determined and full of love and loyalty as well as roast Irina and Prim that even tho its just both her and Riliane against the world, they are happy and proud to have each other and don't give a single f*ck of what others will think, say or even do to them, imagine Prim and Irina 's angry and shocked faces for being roasted I would love to see that.
@@bellacupcakes4765 I think Prim wants to revenge Anne for being above her in status (marrying with Arth) as Prim had always been looking her down obviously.
I have a feeling Prim is obsessed with being at the top, ‘cause there’s a part in her Wikia page says, “Unable to be the Queen of Lucifenia,…”, so in my opinion, the reason why Prim wanted to marry Arth is to be the queen of Lucifenia, as it was potentially becoming the greatest country then. The marriage between Arth and Anne for Prim just like Anne has taken always the chance, with what happened later that made she thinks she’s insulted (Prim tried to poison Arth but failed, and then was suspended for being one of the couple’s close acquaintances) are the factors to set off Prim’s vengeance.

Lol, yeah the visual elements of this series are pretty obviously not where my focus lay. I used the videos mainly as a way to affirm who was singing or who/what they were singing about.

I think the funniest part in this novel is that, if Prim had paid attention to Ney, she wouldn’t have died. Ney wanted her mother to pay attention to her, so when she got none, she killed then.
Then she thought Kyle did it. “Not particularly sane sister” sums it up perfectly.
Amazing cover. It’s the only English one I’ve found, but that won’t stop me from saying that it’s the best one I’ve found.
What's the story I've seen all the other parts but I'm totally lost
You and me both, that's why I tried to do a cliff notes version of the plot in the description. The wiki also has a much more thorough explanation if you have a couple hours to read through it lol.

this is probably the wrong song to mention this on but someone said on a french cover (i dont remember which one) Allen was also possesed by the pride demon this pride is called vaine glory but theres more info on it on the post on that song

So there was 3 friends Arth ( the king born from mud) , Anne (the queen in the king was born from mud) and Prim, ( Shes the black haired girl with a purple dress )
Prim thought she was superior to her friend Anne and thought that she should marry Arth since it was her “birth right” since she was born into the Rogzé family which is one of the most powerful families in Lucifenia at the time
All im getting is there is no stable support for any of them the adults seems to be at fault...
I still want to slap Kyle....
