She should have cut on every water sprinkler she had and ran them full blast till the thugs left. if she had to, put a lock on them so they couldn't be cut off too....$hit is $hit no matter what color it comes out....

I am trying to respond to as many post as possible but this story has gone global. I would like to thank everyone for your support. This is bigger than could be reported. I am posting on KOTV Channel 6 and will be posting regular updates on that site if you want to follow this. My garden was 35 years of growing and sharing. No neighbors complained this was personal BIG BROTHER AT IT;S WORST. I will be posting photos of what was there soon. Stay with this and pass it to others.

That's so horrible! I almost cried. I feel so bad for her. i have a box garden growing in my driveway. I know how much work and love you put into even small gardens and how beneficial it is for health and nature herself. Its more than just a time consuming hobby or 'nuisance" No one should have the right to enter another person property and destroy anything especially against that person' wishes. What has happen to our rights?

  • @huntncomfort

The taxpayers shouldnt have to foot the bill for these rights abuses, The abusers should bear the full responsibility of their decisions!!!!!Sue them individually also!!!!!

If a person came from my local government and tried to tell me what I can and can't grow in my garden I'd laugh in his face call him a twat and tell him to go get a life and he couldn't do shit he knows it that's freedom from oppression by authorities

I got an idea let's breakdown every playground in tulsa and call them noise violations. Chop up all the vegetation that the city plants and tell them that we don't care.....see how they like it.....I hope this woman sues the city into chapter 11....

This simply is barbaric! This happened in America? Sickening...the whole lot of city officials should be ashamed. If I was her I'd be sending President Obama this clip...and a copy of the warrant! If she lived in Alabama, the inoperable car would be considered a 'lawn ornament'...believe me! Some people have quite a few lawn ornaments here...

Too bad most communities are like this, especially uniform communities with homeowners' associations. People love gated communities, so they really do not mean it when they say this is wrong. If it was so wrong, why do such laws exist?

no kidding, instead of chopping up the vegetation that the city plants they should chop up the inspectors. I bet that would give them a new perspective!

F-in lunacy.! Sue them for every "illegal" penny you can get...but the court judges are bought & paid for, with very few exceptions. This poor woman is following the regulations, still they trash her herb/flower garden.?
Time to draw a line in the sand & say :- "You cross this line at your peril."

People need to change their thinking and the way they react. People are so quick to judge others without knowing the facts. Instead of complaining, the neighbor could have approached her and gotten to know her and perhaps help her in her garden. Someone's comment was "What has happened to our rights? I say what has happened to our humanity, our compassion, our love for each other? Sadly this world is ruled by greed, power and control. Only the Lord can fix our world.

City goverments are doing this everywhere.... I have a problem with my local goverment constantly complaining that I let my lawn get over 6 inches high.... how the h3ll am I going to get the grass to produce seed to fill in the blanks if I never let it go to that point?
There are too many people who think that the looks of other people's yards is more important then the actual rights of the home owners. People need to get out of other people's buisness alot more offen.

The statutes you should use if any government official or anyone helping a government official violate your rights are 42 usc 1983,1985,1986 and 18 usc 421 and 422. Also check your state constitution. there should be a clause in the constitution that states that it is illegal to create special classes of people with special privileges. that applies anywhere in the state. Sue the offenders in their personal capacity. john doe doing the job of code enforcement officer for city of Tulsa

They shudnt just b sued, they shud b ARRESTED! But u know people who grow their own food/medicine arent supportin the CAPITALIST AGENDA. Who makes $ from that?? Not 2 mention they pay less tax $, which is what supports all those 'civil servants'...mayb they took it personal??

  • @larrybaley1371

Code enforcement don't think beyond there code book. They should have taken the time to verify if those plants where edible or not. Which would have been in compliance. I've fought code compliance for years, on some rules that where just plain stupid. But think of it this way. Do you go down and vote for qualified people to run your city government or did you just sit at home and allow idiots to invest your city government.

then attack their bond. all judicial officers have a bond to practice their type of work. ask for it & the contact number to file against the bond . there is a bond issuance company that holds the bond and accepts your challenge on the bond. re bonding after loosing a bond to a challenge is extremely expensive. Then attack their oath to the constitution of the united states and the state constitution. Personal acts and actions made against the constitutions are reason to sue in civil court.
