For me it's still the fight against Black Bump. It's a funny but cool fight with personal stakes and character devolpement despite the goofy nature of it all. And the fact we finally get to see Yugo kiss Amalia is the icing on the cake.

The thing i love the most about the tag team segment of this fight is how it really feels like each and every single movement is made with intent. There's no wild swinging of swords or randomly thrown punches that turn into a blur or someone giving commentary on the fight from the sideline to pad out time, the fight is always progressing in some kind of way. This show has come so damn far and this was fully worth the 7 year wait. Wakfu was always fire from Season 1 but like holy shit stuff like this reminds me of the Julith movie and how amazing the fights there were too. Also I love how Goultard telling Yugo to leave him behind in the Necro realm is like a callback to when he took Rushu back through the portal to Shukrute in Season 2

The more I rewatch Yugo's fight against Toross the more I realize he's had an INSANE increase in stamina... I know it goes without saying, but he performs significantly better than he did against Oropo. Puberty hit him hard.💀

Sadly enough there won't be an OVA about him, there will be a platformer game where you play as him and it'll basically be his story of how he retrieved all six dofus from his world. This is what Tot (creator of Wakfu) said btw. Tot also said that he wants to do a Wakfu movie. The movie would release in theaters and would last 1h30, it would be about the brotherhood fighting a new antagonist. But then he wants to "convert/recut" the movie into Season 5 which is your typical 13 episodes, 5 hours long. However he wants to do something unique. Season 5 would be the "director's cut" and the start of the season would actually focus on the antagonist and his point of view. And to that antagonist, it'll explore how to him, the brotherhood are the villains. Tot said this in Zaki's interview.

And then the events which shaped the world of the twelve we're kicked off several millennia ago by some ancient dragon and the Eliatrope goddess I may be wrong, but it would seem as though she has an insatiable drive to mark life on different planets. Whereby Yugo's 'presence' on the 12 is a series of holographic projections of him rooting around running amok up to the point of his rebirth It could take 3 more seasons detailing just how bizarre his past was before reincarnation. I'm assuming someone even worse than Quilby did him in
not exactly, the world of 12 were made by well the 12 gods, eliatrope goddess seduced the great dragon to get six dofus of her own and create her world to rule over it which got her exiled

Comment peut-on dire que cette saison est mauvaise quand on voit un final pareil ? On voit que cette saison transpire la passion de bien faire les choses, et ce final est une preuve témoignant du savoir-faire d'Ankama qui reste incroyable malgré les contraintes budgétaires. Et surtout la musique de ce final, un requiem/électro bien représentatif de l'aura effroyable de Toross et d'un combat magnifié dans une fresque divine. Tout porte à croire qu'avec du budget en plus, les choses aurait été proche du chef d'œuvre (même si selon moi on est dedans, car l'histoire s'attarde sur une dimension plus philosophique au delà de la forme). En tout cas il rentre facilement dans le top des combats d'anthologies de la série et peut mettre en doute vos préférences les plus exigeantes.

Ce qui me dérange c'est pas tant de mentionner ce qui ne va pas. C'est la haine considérable que certains peuvent dire en piétinant l'ensemble de la saison comme si que rien n'allait juste par pure frustration. Voir même certains mettre en comparaison la saison 3 comme meilleur alors qu'objectivement elle souffre des mêmes problèmes voir qu'elle est bien plus problématique (notamment l'animation plus recyclé, ou Oropo étant plus questionable sur ses intentions).
Elle est pas mauvaise, mais elle a clairement des problèmes et ça se voit : Enormément d'éléments de scénario ont été installés pendant les premiers épisodes pour ensuite être complètement abandonnés, oubliés ou rushés en direction du climax final. Comme si il y avait eu un changement d'équipe en plein milieu ou que les papiers sur lesquels étaient notés le script avaient disparu en cours de route. L'animation est impeccable, et la saison en elle-même est bien... Mais elle aurait pu être tellement mieux que ça T-T Personnellement, je serai curieux d'avoir un "behind the scenes" de la préparation de cette saison : Il y a clairement eu pleins de problèmes et j'aimerai savoir ce qu'il s'est passé

Beaucoup boudent le fait que le scénario aurait pu se concentrer sur Yugo et les Eliatropes, mais d'autres boudent d'avoir mit trop de personnages de coté ironiquement. On ne se rend pas compte à quel point cette saison est un défi technique sur tout les plans surtout quand on l'a produit en France et surtout si on met chaque élément contraignant bout à bout. Ils ont fait le maximum ça se voit, la qualité est là. Elle témoigne surtout d'un potentiel qui aurait pu être encore meilleur si les ressources nécessaire pouvait être présent. Parfois il faut se contenter de ce qu'on a car après tout elle aurait pu ne jamais exister il y a quelques années.
Cette saison est extrêmement mauvaise scénaristiquement, mais tout bonnement incroyable sur l'animation, mais bon le public de wakfu n'a pas l'air très exigeant sur l'histoire. Mais quand tu es très investi dans l'univers du Krosmoz, cette saison est bourré d'incohérence et de facilité scénaristique.
And then Invincible makes meta joke about cutting corners to have better fight scenes without having at least one of those in second season. Those guys asked money from fans and did this. You know that there's passion in animators and writers when they put out things like this!
The animation/fighting style is very different, but Invincible had multiple well animated action scene as well. Why does everything has to be a pissing contest? They're both great.
Well it's more complicated than that, sometimes it doesn't matter how passionate you are when you just don't get the funding you need, as a more extreme example many of what people consider disasters in media like sonic 06 or promised neverland season 2 weren't really the fault of the people working on it, some higher up made some dumb descision and the people working on it have to pay the price

Because while there being someone out there with the same name, or such a character, is beyond doubt--especially since I'm Muslim, and sharing names is kinda common--it's a bit jarring especially when the characters are in rather different contexts.

Maintenant que j'y pense c'est quand même un combat entre 3 demi dieu (je pense que Toross en est un) qui on tous des pouvoir divin dans un monde tellement ravager qu'ils utile leur pouvoir à plein potentiel. Toute ces condition fon que ce combat et super visuellement (ça et les animateurs).
techniquement c'est plutôt un combat entre "dieu" car goultard est le dieu Iop actuel, Yugo a créer une race grâce au dofus (les héliotropes comme oroppo) dont toutes l'énergie et les connaissance lui sont revenus(+il utilise les 6 dofus) et toross à conquis son monde (et les à tous zombifié ce qui reviens presque à créer une race) de plus il c'est nourris de dieux (ceux de son monde(possiblement) + la déesse héliatrope (partiellement), ça explique aussi pour quoi Joris n'est pas dans le combat alors qu'il c'était battu contre certain des demi-dieu d'oroppo (le niveau recommandée pour ce combat est trop élevé🤭).
@@felixjoblon2230 Je me permets de rectifier un détail : La possession des dofus quelque soit son rang donne dans tout les cas une position de dieu, de par leurs capacités réunni et leurs maitrîses. Goultard n'est pas le dieu Iop actuel. Mais c'est le cadet des Percedal qui a hérité de nouveau de ce pouvoir. On peut remarquer Toross d'ailleurs à réaafirmer l'argument de Goultard quand il dit "...plutôt comme un demi dieu !" en parlant de sa force, qu'il reconnaît tout de même importante pour prendre part au combat contre lui. La scène se veut assez subtile de ce côté là. Bien évidemment étant le fils du dieu Iop et de son expérience de combat millénaire. Goultard reste pour le coup un monstre de puissance pour défier Toross, il tentera d'ailleurs de déchaîner sa colère face à Toross avant l'intervention de Yugo, livrant au passage une scène désormais mythique à la fresque divine dans l'animé.
I think the latter episodes were excellent but they didn’t really have anything planned for the rest of the cast that matched the stakes in yugos storyline. It always felt like the story was dragging when we cut from the eliatropes

Comment peut-on dire que cette saison est mauvaise quand on voit un final pareil ? On voit que cette saison transpire la passion de bien faire les choses, et ce final est une preuve témoignant du savoir-faire d'Ankama qui reste incroyable malgré les contraintes budgétaires. Et surtout la musique de ce final, un requiem/électro bien représentatif de l'aura effroyable de Toross et d'un combat magnifié dans une fresque divine. Tout porte à croire qu'avec du budget en plus, les choses aurait été proche du chef d'œuvre (même si selon moi on est dedans, car l'histoire s'attarde sur une dimension plus philosophique au delà de la forme). En tout cas il rentre facilement dans le top des combats d'anthologies de la série et peut mettre en doute vos préférences les plus exigeantes.

@@AbyssalBlue24 Si tu te penches sur beaucoup de commentaires que ce soit Forum ou autres vidéos (notamment Zaki). Beaucoup ont mentionnés leurs mécontentements. Ce qui me dérange c'est pas tant de mentionner ce qui ne va pas. C'est la haine considérable que certains peuvent dire en piétinant l'ensemble de la saison comme si que rien n'allait juste par pure frustration. Voir même certains mettre en comparaison la saison 3 comme meilleur alors qu'objectivement elle souffre des mêmes problèmes voir qu'elle est bien plus problématique (notamment l'animation plus recyclé, ou Oropo étant plus questionable sur ses intentions).
Elle est pas mauvaise, mais elle a clairement des problèmes et ça se voit :
Enormément d'éléments de scénario ont été installés pendant les premiers épisodes pour ensuite être complètement abandonnés, oubliés ou rushés en direction du climax final. Comme si il y avait eu un changement d'équipe en plein milieu ou que les papiers sur lesquels étaient notés le script avaient disparu en cours de route.
L'animation est impeccable, et la saison en elle-même est bien... Mais elle aurait pu être tellement mieux que ça T-T
Personnellement, je serai curieux d'avoir un "behind the scenes" de la préparation de cette saison : Il y a clairement eu pleins de problèmes et j'aimerai savoir ce qu'il s'est passé
@@RoulicisThe La production à fait ce qu'elle a pu pour satisfaire le plus grande monde. Beaucoup boudent le fait que le scénario aurait pu se concentrer sur Yugo et les Eliatropes, mais d'autres boudent d'avoir mit trop de personnages de coté ironiquement. On ne se rend pas compte à quel point cette saison est un défi technique sur tout les plans surtout quand on l'a produit en France et surtout si on met chaque élément contraignant bout à bout. Ils ont fait le maximum ça se voit, la qualité est là. Elle témoigne surtout d'un potentiel qui aurait pu être encore meilleur si les ressources nécessaire pouvait être présent. Parfois il faut se contenter de ce qu'on a car après tout elle aurait pu ne jamais exister il y a quelques années.
Cette saison est extrêmement mauvaise scénaristiquement, mais tout bonnement incroyable sur l'animation, mais bon le public de wakfu n'a pas l'air très exigeant sur l'histoire.
Mais quand tu es très investi dans l'univers du Krosmoz, cette saison est bourré d'incohérence et de facilité scénaristique.

And then Invincible makes meta joke about cutting corners to have better fight scenes without having at least one of those in second season. Those guys asked money from fans and did this. You know that there's passion in animators and writers when they put out things like this!
The animation/fighting style is very different, but Invincible had multiple well animated action scene as well.

Well it's more complicated than that, sometimes it doesn't matter how passionate you are when you just don't get the funding you need, as a more extreme example many of what people consider disasters in media like sonic 06 or promised neverland season 2 weren't really the fault of the people working on it, some higher up made some dumb descision and the people working on it have to pay the price

Maintenant que j'y pense c'est quand même un combat entre 3 demi dieu (je pense que Toross en est un) qui on tous des pouvoir divin dans un monde tellement ravager qu'ils utile leur pouvoir à plein potentiel.
Toute ces condition fon que ce combat et super visuellement (ça et les animateurs).
Yup c'est un bon résumé et Toross est un demi dieu je crois de part sa possibilité à pouvoir utiliser les dofus de son monde

techniquement c'est plutôt un combat entre "dieu" car goultard est le dieu Iop actuel, Yugo a créer une race grâce au dofus (les héliotropes comme oroppo) dont toutes l'énergie et les connaissance lui sont revenus(+il utilise les 6 dofus) et toross à conquis son monde (et les à tous zombifié ce qui reviens presque à créer une race) de plus il c'est nourris de dieux (ceux de son monde(possiblement) + la déesse héliatrope (partiellement), ça explique aussi pour quoi Joris n'est pas dans le combat alors qu'il c'était battu contre certain des demi-dieu d'oroppo (le niveau recommandée pour ce combat est trop élevé🤭).
@@felixjoblon2230 Je me permets de rectifier un détail : La possession des dofus quelque soit son rang donne dans tout les cas une position de dieu, de par leurs capacités réunni et leurs maitrîses. Goultard n'est pas le dieu Iop actuel. Mais c'est le cadet des Percedal qui a hérité de nouveau de ce pouvoir. On peut remarquer Toross d'ailleurs à réaafirmer l'argument de Goultard quand il dit "...plutôt comme un demi dieu !" en parlant de sa force, qu'il reconnaît tout de même importante pour prendre part au combat contre lui. La scène se veut assez subtile de ce côté là.
Bien évidemment étant le fils du dieu Iop et de son expérience de combat millénaire. Goultard reste pour le coup un monstre de puissance pour défier Toross, il tentera d'ailleurs de déchaîner sa colère face à Toross avant l'intervention de Yugo, livrant au passage une scène désormais mythique à la fresque divine dans l'animé.

Not a huge fan of the season as a whole ... but damn armand's last stand and the final were GORGEOUS
I think the latter episodes were excellent but they didn’t really have anything planned for the rest of the cast that matched the stakes in yugos storyline. It always felt like the story was dragging when we cut from the eliatropes
