  • Re-uploading at a higher quality that the original video, with a tighter cut. The historic NS ex-Virginian route from Elmore Yard to Princeton, WV was mothbolled, on October 1st, 2015. NS shifted traffic to a longer route using the Guyandotte River Branch. This video shows two Hill Runs lugging loaded coal up the 2.07% grade to Clark's Gap a week before the suspension of operations.

Does this line still run? And when does this usually run?

I don't think this portion has any regular movements. It was mothbolled shortly after I filmed it. The only thing I've seen is that some cars were placed in storage on this segment, but that was it.

Trains still go up the line but it’s not like it used to be they come up from near PD junction at Kellysville, WV and go up to Princeton, WV they only Cary scrap metal and some type of rock it might be gravel but Princeton is as far as trains go and it is used for car storage
