Many great points made in this review that I haven’t heard others mention. The “brickiness” to the T. Rex is what makes it a Lego, I also happen to hate those pre molded one piece dinos that come with a lot of the other JP/JW sets. This was the most fun I’ve had building a Lego since the 3-in-1 Creator Dinos from way back. Like you I found the experience of building this set very nostalgic. To top it all off I was watching Prehistoric Planet in the background, as a dino lover this really just hit all the right spots for me. If the T. Rex was just a tad bigger, or the vehicles a tad smaller, to get the scaling down a bit better, this set would be truly perfect.

Completely agree with you for brick-built dinosaurs. I think this is what makes a lego model. Wholly moulded plastic dinosaur toys just don’t cut it and they don’t look Lego to me. Great video production, with actual movie reference, great voice over, I love everything about your video and your channel! Subscribed at once.
