My aunt died yesterday early morning. She was a fierce warrior for her Lord and savior. She was a wife, mother, aunt, teacher, friend and most importantly a daughter of the one true King!
I just lost my Mom to a short 2 month battle with colon cancer. This song reminds me of her. She had total trust in God, and showed totsl strength through her illness❤
I am sorry for both of your losses my grandmother passed away quite a while ago she raised me from a young man to a man and she was a godfather and woman she live by the book and she lived by the Lord's word verse by verse I know it's hard for us to let the ones we love go I'd like a good book says it's like that moment in time for them and eternity for us it seems but soon we'll see them again I can't wait for that day so I can see her and the rest of my family that have passed that I was close to and I hope you will do the same

It's hard to believe that it's been 5 years. She is a true inspiration even in death. Her faith was strong.

We are all just passing through this world hanging on Gods dear graces..waiting for the day to be reunited with our Lord and Savior ....Joey was a candle in the wind, she left behind two amazing people. Her endearing husband Rory and her beautiful daughter Indiana.....God rest her soul and give strength to the family she left behind....It must be so painful, as it is to us, but more so for them that were by her side ....my heart breaks everytime I hear her sing. But i smile after.......,knowing it's going to be ok. ..... Gods got our backs.....even in the darkest times.....I have faith in that....Love you Joey angel.....
Two years later, and I'm still crying when I hear her music. She touched me in so many ways.
I will back you up am still touched every time I see how beautiful of a mother,wife,friend,farmer and above all amazing country singer. “That’s important to me” Defines what a true blessing is.Thank Rory for being with her till the end.

I can not beleave what an impact joey has on so many lives .alive or passed. Image her singing these songs not knowing she would be leaving and saying these messages to us all. She was an Angel on hear .And now in heaven.its Amazing.and Rore is doing her work on earth.i am so blessed to have found them ..he realy helps my depression

I came into knowing about her far too long after she left. This breaks my heart, but it also gives me joy because she lived, I mean REALLY.lived....a beautiful life. We should all be so lucky. She remained beautiful inside and out to the very end. Watch over us, sweet lady, as you walk in the presence of the Lord.

This is such a beautiful heart felt song that I have ever heard I played this at my husband funeral 3 years ago and to this day I go back and listen to it again and cry all the through my heart will forever love my husband miss him still to this day
This woman's courage aww man she's a credit because she never said why her even will she had that poison pumping through her veins she was planting seedlings in egg shells so her family lived healthy. If only we all had that beauty and faith .God has another special angel up beside him but I have no doubts she looks down and is Rory and her baby and family's guardian angel.God Bless you all .

I watched them on Gaither tonight, and cried all the way through the show. Then this song came on, and even more tears. No it is not fair, neither was it fair that my 20 yr old son lost his life, just as he was beginning to live. Just not fair. Some said you should never question God. I do and I have. I talked to Dr. James Dobson, he said it is normal to question when we lose someone we love so much. He said God does understand. I miss my son, I miss this beautiful soul singing this song. My heart and prayers go to her husband, her daughter, and her family.

Their story has ripped my heart out. I am all cried out. I have my 73 year old mom watching the blogs or flogs as rory calls them and she is hooked as I am. She is in kidney failure and has health problems. During the pandemic she has had to stay home more so I set her up w my iPhone and headset and she listens to them sing and falls madly in love with Rory and Indi. They have brought so much happiness to my mom the last few days. She is so sad for Joey.

Thank God for a love story so amazing, encouraging, well spent with the time the Lord blessed her with, a good role model , a excellent mother a good wife , golden voice with so much love that was shared through the songs they sang , were loved by people they came in contact with so sad her life was short lived , but was fruitful praise the Lord.

Not sure when I came upon Joey Feek , Amazing woman of God what brings me to my knees is her strength to know she is leaving her family , her baby behind there must be a tug at the heart .
I had a friend a woman of God just the same as this young lady, two yrs older pass away from cancer leaving her family and children behind her legecy lives on !

I just saw Rory perform this weekend in Centralia, MO and although it had to be one his smaller crowds, he sang like we were all his best friends. His love and devotion for Joey is so obvious and he spoke just as much about his children. They were such an amazing couple, but be assured, Joey is more alive right now in the presence of our Lord, than those of us watching this channel.
