Ok so the vocals on the lines; "send us more money, theres no time to lose" from the antagonist coworker and "Swear before God she has nothing to hide" were the best versions of the vocals I've heard...this is including the movie version and the classic tours on RUclips. Very talented performers here...the fact that the version is cleaned up so much, throws the lyrics off a bit in my head though, but the vocals make up for that
I was super confused during the song as I noticed some of the lyrics changes. however the changes for done very well and still convey the meaning of the song and I suppose considering that you're talkin about high school students you probably wouldn't want them to sing the original lyrics to some of these. Very well done production though quite impressed.
At the end of the day you're another day older And that's all you can say for the life of the poor It's a struggle, it's a war And there's nothing that anyone's giving One more day standing about, what is it for? One day less to be living. Those lines say it all... cultivate a little compassion.
Love that! And the girl who played Fantine is very pretty and a good actress, but so are the other factory workers. It shall be quite hard to find so many good singers!
[THE POOR] EVERYONE At the end of the day you're another day older And that's all you can say for the life of the poor It's a struggle, it's a war And there's nothing that anyone's giving One more day standing about, what is it for? One day less to be living. At the end of the day you're another day colder And the shirt on your back doesn't keep out the chill And the righteous hurry past They don't hear the little ones crying And the winter is coming on fast, ready to kill One day nearer to dying! At the end of the day there's another day dawning And the sun in the morning is waiting to rise Like the waves crash on the sand Like a storm that'll break any second There's a hunger in the land There's a reckoning still to be reckoned and There's gonna be hell to pay At the end of the day! [The foreman and workers, including Fantine, emerge from the factory] [FOREMAN] RICHARD At the end of the day you get nothing for nothing Sitting flat on your butt doesn't buy any bread [WORKER ONE] FRANCISCO There are children back at home [WORKERS ONE AND TWO] FRANCISCO AND SEGURA And the children have got to be fed [WORKER TWO] SEGURA And you're lucky to be in a job [WOMAN] HANNA And in a bed! [WOMAN THREE] FRAIDELLE It's because little Fantine won't give him his way [WOMAN ONE] LANA Take a look at his trousers, you'll see where he stands! [WOMAN FOUR] JAZZMIN And the boss, he never knows That the foreman is always in heat [WOMAN THREE] DENISSE If Fantine doesn't look out Watch how she goes She'll be out on the street! [WORKERS] ALL BOYS At the end of the day it's another day over With enough in your pocket to last for a week Pay the landlord, pay the shop Keep on grafting as long as you're able Keep on grafting till you drop Or it's back to the crumbs off the table You've got to pay your way At the end of the day! [GIRL (Grabbing a letter from Fantine)] SHARYN And what have we here, little innocent sister? Come on Fantine, let's have all the news! [Reading the letter] Ooh..."Dear Fantine you must send us more money... Your child needs a doctor... There's no time to lose..." [FANTINE] JERMAINE Give that letter to me It is none of your business With a husband at home And a bit on the side! Is there anyone here Who can swear before God She has nothing to fear? She has nothing to hide? (Scene before pumasok si Valjean) [They fight over the letter. Valjean (M. Madeleine) rushes on to break up the squabble.] [VALJEAN] GIERIC What is this fighting all about? Will someone tear these two apart This is a factory, not a circus! Now, come on ladies, settle down I run a business of repute I am the Mayor of this town [To the foreman] GIERIC AGAIN I look to you to sort this out And be as patient as you can- [He goes back into the factory] GIERIC Now someone say how this began! [GIRL] ALL GIRLS At the end of the day She's the one who began it! There's a kid that she's hiding In some little town There's a man she has to pay You can guess how she picks up the extra You can bet she's earning her keep Sleeping around And the boss wouldn't like it! [FANTINE] JERMAINE Yes it's true there's a child And the child is my daughter And her father abandoned us Leaving us flat Now she lives with an innkeeper man And his wife And I pay for the child What's the matter with that? [WOMEN] ALL GIRLS At the end of the day She'll be nothing but trouble And there's trouble for all When there's trouble for one! While we're earning our daily bread She's the one with her hands in the butter You must send the slut away Or we're all gonna end in the gutter And it's us who'll have to pay At the end of the day! [FOREMAN] RICHARD I might have known the bitch could bite I might have known the cat had claws I might have guessed your little secret Ah yes, the virtuous Fantine Who keeps herself so pure and clean You'd be the cause I had no doubt Of any trouble hereabout You play a virgin in the light But need no urgin' in the night. [GIRL] ALL GIRLS She's been laughing at you While she's having her men [WOMEN] She'll be nothing but trouble again and again [WOMAN] JAZZMIN You must sack her today [WORKERS] ALL BOYS Sack the girl today! [FOREMAN] RICHARD Right my girl. On your way!
Fantine’s tragic story is proof of why gossip is so dangerous… even if there is no truth to the words once a reputation is destroyed you can NEVER undo the damage.
As good as the singing was, I disliked it because you changed the lines and because you had the wrong gendered person singing the wrong line. If I wrote something specific to a person, and you changed he words AND changed the character, I'd be offended and I'd sue you if I found out about it. The words to be sung by a male are "I might of known the bitch could bite, I might have known that cat had claws, I might have guessed your little secret. Ah yes, the virtuous Fantine. Who keeps herself so pure and clean you'd be the cause I've had no doubt of any trouble here about, you play a virgin in the light but need no urging in the night." Now is that so difficult ? I'm sure they can handle it.
The confidence and facial expressions of girls are at the next level. perfect and complete act.

Hard disagree
ye, they seem pretty average to me
That line seems hard, the girl doing it at my school is a bit high pitched
i’m playing the antagonist and its a small part but so fun
Their set is amazing!!
the girl of 1:47 could do a great ms. thenadier
Ok a good production but all the singers look a million dollars
@Madeleine Heath ouch.
@Madeleine Heath no, I'm talking abt calling all theater girls b*tches. But go off ig
Madeleine Heath not all theatre kids just a few that I know of
Madeline Heath honestly I cant blame you theatre kids are kinda salty sometimes
I was about to add the same thing. These ensemble members should look like they’ve been rolling around in the dirt with filthy faces.
I really love the performance and want to mention that this is all with live music, the orchestra is great, this is super difficult.
I was super confused during the song as I noticed some of the lyrics changes. however the changes for done very well and still convey the meaning of the song and I suppose considering that you're talkin about high school students you probably wouldn't want them to sing the original lyrics to some of these. Les Miserables Movie
So much better than the film
OMG this version is much better than the movie
At least the movie isn’t censored and Grantaire exists
musicals always have been better than movies...
Grantaire is the most meh character...who cares if he's forgotten
This is why you don't text at work.
I wonder why the took out most of the solo parts?
Is it innapropriate?
Great Talent here
