I love that Limmy imitates Americans by mimicking a baseball announcer.
it's pretty effective lol
And the troops and Jesus Christ are always in there, top notch
He’s leveled up; he used to think every American sounded like a New Yorker
And then bleats about Scottish racism 😂
He's not just mimicking any baseball announcer, but one planning a class action lawsuit against the Farmers Union Grain Feeds! 😅
the fact he managed to find a picture of people singing the national anthem within 15 minutes is very very funny
Very unhealthy relationship with that bloody flag, kids pledge aligence to it still daily in schools.
A Limmy tour of all the Glasgows of America is a documentary I would watch
(Dirty empty montana parking lot) "There we go we got a playground there"
😂😂
This is my favourite kind of Limmy content. Love when he goes into a deep dive on something random like the reynolds market smokehouse
Is that video on this channel? I can’t find it
@@lolledopke It is the video you're commenting on
I lived there 8 years. It was very quiet. My first winter I learned to speak Japanese because I needed to keep my mind busy.
The Scotties who did come through town called it "Wee Glasgow."
My last year there, they hosted the first annual "Highland Games."
The parade was amazing. The high school band marched in their kilts, There was a small pipe and drum corps from Miles City, MT, and a very large pipe and drum band from Regina, Sask.
These were followed by cowboys on horseback. By the way, horses and bagpipes don't mix. I have never seen such skilled riding. It probably wasn't a good idea to put the horsed directly behind 60 bagpipes. I was told by one of the pipers that putting horses in front is worse because they end up leading the parade by half a mile.
I'm from Glasgow kentucky! I was a scottie in High school and we also have a highland games!😂
Street View is so fucking wild. One of the most mindblowing things to me.
Imagine showing someone from Paris all the smalltown McDonalds in like 1970
Did you know there is google earth VR? So you can explore the whole world via street view in virtual reality
@@rcm616-j5t not the whole world only the ones under the silicon soy valley dictatorship
If you think that's wild wait until you see google earth 3D
@@alan3598 Is that like some terrible type of psychological torture or something?
The best tour Glasgow has ever received--hilarious commentary! Thanks from your friends here in Montana:)
Lmfao at Limmy having the "Leave Voter Breaks Into Tears" thing bookmarked in his browser
As a scot who lives in the United States, I can’t get enough of Limmy’s reaction to all these places.
Puhleaassee be UPSTANDING
in the american construction world they call those cheap wooden houses 'slapjacks' because the companies use the cheapest labor in the market to slap them together really quick, notorious for having problems once they start aging and poor finish
Whenever you explore Google Maps in the USA, the smaller the town, the bigger the cars. It's like even the office guy down the road who does not do any sort of manual labour around the house or as a hobby still has a SUV/Truck and goes to the hardware store on the weekend to 'browse' so he doesn't get exiled from town.
Because they like to pretend they're a countey boy who is big and hard
@@yorkshireflatcap7026 Somebody better tell em it does the opposite. Over in AU, the SUV style trucks are reserved to soccer mums, and young single mum bogan chicks who claim they do dirt bike riding to impress the tradies.
They gotta haul big loads up the mountains!
From a small town in US, can confirm this. Lots of big truck boys
"oh look theyve got a mcdonalds over there as well!" the jab at americans saying stuff like that about smaller countries
I’ve been here, we drove from Anchorage to Chicago in the summer of 1999, and saw this place on the map, thought it would take us half an hour detour, took near 4 hours!! They were absolutely staggered to see an actual Scottish person, although we were not the first. The town, unbelievably, wasn’t twinned with another town/city, so I suggested Greenock. As far as I’m aware, to this day they will all still think Port Glasgow is some kind of utopia although with the emergence of Google maps I fear they will remember me as a lying bastard.
I'm a Portonian, this is hilarious!
Wait till they see Scotland's chernobyl! 😂
Bla bla
Nicely done!
@@Kazza_8240fellow inverclyde people on the internet? oft..

at 24:25 white house to the left i used to live there and there is a cat buried there
I love this comment.
There's at least one cat buried next to most houses.
The cat gave his life valiantly on the battlefields of Iraq
I could watch this man go around America pointing odd stuff out for hours
I just sat through all of this thinking it was 5 minutes long
Bet you every single person living there pronounces it "Glass Cow"
Legit 💀😭🤣
Drives me fucking mental when they do that.. They also said Edin-berg instead of Edinburgh
Been there and aye they do unfortunately
@@DeimosPC: Edin-boro.
No. We say Glass go.
I love that he does this. It's somehow giving me the same effect as ASMR.
Most of the people in Glasgow, Montana won't know there's an original Glasgow
that place looks just as depressing as the real thing
limmy discovers americas poor urban planning
"If you've got nothing in America, you got LESS than nothing." -Limmy
It's mad how he spent half an hour on this. I'm all for this kind of content.
i live near Moscow, ID. there are a ton of cities in the US named after cities in Europe, and most of them don't have "New" on the title either which makes it even more confusing. we tend to pronounce our versions differently though to avoid confusion, like we say "mos-coh" for the city in ID and "mos-cow" for the city in Russia
mos coh is the real one though
I live near Russia, Ohio. They pronounce it “Rooshy”
Moscow in Scotland
At this point i could watch limmy commenting on a video about paint drying and it would still be entertaining.
You're a legend.
spent half my life in Glasgow and half in the US.....both are fucking mental
i like how the pretty lady in your pic is channeling deep emotions or something
@@zabu14 Hahah, calm yourself down, mate. Think before you make an arse of yourself on that internet.
Limmy have a look at stobe the hobo on you tube he was a train hopper who rode the freight trains. He stopped off at Glasgow Montana on one of his trips and wasn’t to enthusiastic about it.He remarks that he would rather be in Oor Glasgow.
At 8:10 Limmy's american impression is just Ben Kingsley's Mandarin from Iron Man 3
Lmao fr
Remember, N O R O S I E.
Hey Limmy. Just wanted to say that I think you are amazing. I live in Ontario, Canada and would love to see you explore Canadian cities.
same here! but this channel only posts limmy stream clips its got nothing to do with limmy
Fun fact: It’s called Glasgow because the fella who named it spun a globe and his finger landed on Glasgow.
Can't go anywhere without somebody's vomiting up this sht
Kinda spooky there's no one walking around out there.
Probably die of dehydration trying to walk to Dairy Queen...
Normal American things. People look at you like you're committing a crime if you actually walk on the sidewalk
If an alien found a random american town they’d think humans were just cars
Well, sir, turns out folks in Glasgow, Montana and folks in Glasgow, England have something in common. Both like deep frying our foodstuffs. Yes sir, deep fried Montana ribs in Barbecue sauce is a Friday night special 'round these parts.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Glasgow England, you really are taking the piss
😂😂😂 oh dear
Glasgow Montana gets freezing too but they haven't got Easterhouse
Glass Cow, Montana.
Watching this on a nightshift in actual glesga. Cheers.
Those Wood houses you see are probably plastic, it's called "Siding" Lmao!!!
Its so sad that Rosie was banned from Reynolds Market
Best reaction when he saw that
Scotties are probably the name of the high school mascot, lol.
No
Wow Limmy showing Americans up w his American geography skills
as soon as i saw that thumbnail for that big ass flag i knew he was gonna click on it HAHAHAHAHAH
I know the odds are slim but I really want Limmy to check out my neighborhood and make smartalec comments. He's only several hundreds of miles away.
No content better. An absolutely random dive into some irrelevant gaff in the states
Is america all roads
No Rosie
I did the deep dive on wiki. Yeah, those guys all had scotish names. My ancestry is both UK and um yeah....
Limey becomes fascinated by Reynolds Market
I hear they have the greatest baseball team in the States!
When someone arrives first in an area and gets to name it, aren't they supposed to name it after somewhere it reminds them of? How did that flat, sun baked desert remind someone of Glasgow?
Oooh I get my turn to tell the story! Okay so back when the town was founded, a man in charge of naming railway towns decided to spin the globe and he would name the town whatever he stopped the globe on. When he stopped the globe his finger landed on Glasgow, Scotland. So the town got named Glasgow!
Cathy could you please find out if they sell starbar in glasgow usa please
Close down that factory!
Did he end up driving there in the game? If so please upload!
You can watch it here ruclips.net/video/JQvl44wStUs/видео.html
Fs it'd take ye about 10 minutes to cross the road
US uses term city very liberally it seems
Could they not get a bigger flag
im scottish too, but if they said something about scotland it would be at worst "bigoted" not "racist", a nationality is not a race.
gold
Look on RUclips for Reynolds Market Glasgow Montana
No Rosie.
FECKIN GLASGOW🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You are so cute!! We are Montana- I hope no one finds us ever!
Albertsons pog
These towns in America are like a dystopian hellscape, its like theyre in competition with each other to create the ugliest place to live. "So im thinking, just concrete, and roads, and fast food restaurants"
Is Scotland really made of stone? Did you guys chop down all your trees like in the william wallace times or something? I feel like you had trees at some point.
no its because its windy here so we need good building materials so that everything doesn't fall over
That is a massive flag
Yeah american town founders have a tendency to steal names of other cities and either not changing it or adding "new" at the beginning.
Livio claiming ‘racism’ of Scotland while dissing Americans in his generic exaggerated American accent is peak irony, or hypocrisy… not sure which. Both?
11:32 - bahaha 😆
Wonder do they call themselves Glaswegians, or Glasgownians.
6:30 if every church was a community center there wouldn't be a hungry person in america
Hahahaha it’s all concrete
called the camber of the road
Makes you feel better about fatchel Glas-Cow
Welcome all scotties
desolate asphalt hellscape
glass cow
GLESGA
I am going to Glasgow in July 2024 and I am literally crying over the idea of going there! It's flat, there is nothing green, and there is barely any human life there. There are more cattle then people!!! There is nothing to do there and I will be there for 6 days!!! HELP!!!
Don't Americans pronounce Glasgow the way they pronounce Moscow like Moss🐄?
No
yes they say glass cow
Why do Americans pronounce Glasgow as glass cow
Because they're American
"Glass gow" sounds like "glass cow." They aren't saying "cow" at all. That's just what sounds like. Also much closer than "glesga"
@@ghil26.3 glesga is slang for glasgow, they intentionally say it glesga, americans dont intentionally pronounce it wrong they just do.
@@amp4105 ah naw thah. You're noh gettin it
Actually, Glasgow, Montana, is the original Glasgow, and the one in Scotland is a farcical imitation. Speak the language we taught you.
7:45 that symbol reminds me of one of the christian brainwashing camps I was subjected to.
