      Но в походе почти невозможно сделать сильный и точный блочный или многослойный рекурсивный лук для охоты на лосей и кабанов.Редко эти животные встречаются,избегают охотников.Птицы или рыбы в ручье часто.И очень много сил уйдёт на натяжение при выстреле,а ещё нужно выучится метко стрелять.А вот показанный в видео обладает достаточной силой для небольшой добычи и неизрасходует все силы.

      @border8204 6 месяцев назад +2

      @user-zq9ey8zj2g Not even close. Try again. English long bows were traditionally between 80-120#, and traditional archery today is usually right around 50-60#.
      I shoot traditional archery and am a part of a few groups dedicated to traditional archery skills. I have also studied ancient war weaponry and tactics.
      You obviously realize that a bow at 150# is extremely difficult to pull back and use. It's very counter productive to even make a bow that high of draw weight. The idea in battle was field as many as possible, not 0.000001% of the army.

    Very nice 🙂
    That's a fairly modern design made by a guy called Penobscot who figured out how to get a half decent tension from relatively low poundage bows, great if you can't find a suitable piece of wood for a self bow, a bow of a single piece usually made of a more flexible material like ash or yew.
    I've used a penobscot it's a great design but I don't think I've ever come across one with over an 80lb draw? Which is good enough for hunting game I guess

    • @auchpup

    • @sammy_porkchop
      @sammy_porkchop 8 месяцев назад +1

      Having never hunted game (with the exception of missing lots of rodents as an exuberant youth), Id hazard a guess that much more than 80lbs and you lose control of arrow flight, as if holding it steady waiting for game to give a good shot

    • @ronandixon8486
      @ronandixon8486 7 месяцев назад +1

      I don't know where you heard that origin from, but the reason it is called a penobscot bow is because it originates from the Penobscot people of northern America. It's not a particularly modern design at all. Also, how heavy the draw weight is entirely depends on the maker and the wood, and 80 is more than enough for hunting.

      In his bow it will hold quite well but if we do one it will take some set especially if the wood is not dry. If you watch 4:00 he heats the main bow to make a preamptive curve to the belly so it would not lose tension as much. Also dries it heating it that way so it will be tougher.

    Хмммм🤔🤔🤔. Интересная конструкция раньше подобного не видел. Нет я видел разные луки. В дедстве в молодости сам делал только обычные. Ещё в советское время. Особенно после просмотра фильмов про индейцев. Когда смотрели фильмы вестерны. Играли в индейцев и белых. Это было в семидесятых восьмидесятых годах. Но именно подобную конструкцию вижу первый раз. Попробовать что ли на старости лет . Подобное повторить как здесь на видео. Даже стало интересно. Что у меня получится. Если попробовать. Надо подумать. Очень интересный выглядит лук. А за видео Спасибо благодарю. Было очень интересно смотреть. Получил удовольствие от видео. Вы молодец автор. Здорово у вас получилось. Просто мастерски. Считаю что это работа мастера. Мне понравилось. Поставлю как школьник. 🤗🤗🤗💯💯💯💯💯➕➕➕➕➕✊✊✊✊✊✊✊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏.

    Fantastic work. Is that the Cammilus macheté? Are you using the bowyers hitch? It looks more versatile than I remember.

    Did you re-sharpen the blade while filming the whole process of making the bow?

    Curious to know how many times you had to sharpen you blade, during this process? Certainly, an interesting built!

      If the steel quality is good enough he didnt need to resharpen it at all I carved three knife handles using a buck knife the other day and the knife still sliced through paper like it was nothing afterward I only sharpened it again out of habit.

    Y con mucha idea. No es un detalle menor la idea de como darle más tensión. No se si será o no copiada, así con todo jolín

    Это КРУТО!!!! Но я более чем уверен, что 99,999% внимательно просмотрев это видео и имея в наличии не просто мачете, а целый набор столярных и слесарных инструментов, не смогут сделать что-то подобное!!!!
