Awesome Comparison, Ninja for the Win in my opinion. 3 on the Ninja would be perfect for me.
Thank you for this video. I really like your video's! You helped my buy my last coffee maker (which I love) And now I'm looking at these two waffle irons and you have them side x side. Excellent review as always!
This was a great comparison video. Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
Impressive! I’ll buy the Ninja.
As someone who likes to put other things in a waffle maker than just waffles/batter, I personally don't care for them being upright only. :( For waffles tho, they look great! Thanks for sharing!
What else do you put in waffle maker?
@@KELLENKASHyou know
@@Somefatguyification What? Omelette?
@@KELLENKASH Hash browns
@KELLENKASH sausage and eggs. Then its the same shape as the waffles. That's how u make a sandwich.
I bought the Presto one months ago and haven't even opened the box yet. I'll see how that one works. Thanks for the review
If your Presto model is the "FlipSide" it is a very good waffle maker. We have had one for years. A very simple and durable design. Plug it in. Let it heat up. Then make waffles. You can open it up while the waffle cooks. To get them to your desired brownness.
@@manuelvalenzuela5729 it is
I don't understand how the incorrect amount of batter being used is possible if using the measuring cups which came with the waffle irons. How is that possible, did you mix up the cups for the waffle irons? First time I have ever seen a waffle come with a handle. Still a great video!!
Very helpful. Many thanks!
You're welcome!
Ty ... great demo
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I have a very small kitchen space (I mean really small). Which one takes up less space? My sister bought me the cuisinart (still didn't open the box), but I think the ninja looks more compact. Thanks
Ninja takes up less space but not by much
@@JustADad thank you
I like the ninja one
You didn't show the interior of the waffle. Are they well done? I got one waffle maker and after several trials always my wafflea come out raw in the inside. If I leave it longer time it gets burn outside yet chewy inside. Please show the inside if they get well cooked. Thanks.
Which waffle is thicker plz
Great comparison. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Are the plates on the Ninja cast iron?
I wonder if I will be able to use the ninja plug in the uk with a basic adapter.
What happens with these upright models when you don't have enough batter to fill the entire unit? Like the last bits of the bowl you don't want to waste? With the old style you can simply fill one or two sections and it works fine. But with these, it looks like you have to quickly close the door after filling one section and hope the batter doesn't fly everywhere. Because if you pour it down the chute, it will cling to the cook surface and cook in a hollow shell.
I answer my own question: these style of waffle makers are pretty terrible for waffle quality. They trap steam and it only shoots up the pour spout. Steam makes it tough and leathery because it has nowhere to escape and nowhere for the batter to expand to so it doesn't get light and fluffy inside. It's completely sealed up to prevent batter from seeping.
I returned my ninja and got the Cuisinart flip Belgian with the adjustable dial. Way better waffles. Plus you can easily add chocolate bits or berries into the batter and you can make just a quarter or half a waffle when you only have a bit of batter left.
I'm looking to try and make yeasted waffles .. can I with the iron that flips? I 2 prefer the flip I think
@@natalinabertoldi9439 sure don't see why not. If it gets overfilled on accident, as you learn how much batter to use, it will ooze outside of the iron so have a towel ready to wipe up the excess.
Thx 👍
You're welcome!
Yeah I like how the ninja is more flat
Which one is crispier?
It depends on the cooking level. I have the Ninja waffle maker and for crispy waffles a level 3 or 4 would be perfect.
The problem with this is that you first of all, can’t cook other things like quesadillas, eggs, etc in these uptight waffle makers and second, can’t put toppings on your waffles while it’s cooking.
Ninja, according to your timer, was a half min behind, not 10 seconds.
yep.
what we have in the end - just a ninja appliance add, no wonder :/
the same thing can be seen all over YT with kitchenaid stuff, stating "clearly the best" while, for instance, similar kenwood machines are far more robust and have higher quality
my wife likes pecans in her waffle, can u add pecans/bannas etc ?
yes for sure
