Bruks mobile wood chippers - Demo

These are film clips from a demo that Bruks Siwertell did in December 2019. (That was before the covid-19 pandemic). Bruks showed a number of different models of the chippers Bruks 806.2 and 1006. Both mounted on trucks and on forwarders. As well as concepts with chippers that have their own engines and chippers that are driven by the truck's engine.
The demonstration was done at a large terminal in mid Sweden and the material that is chipped is both harvesting residues (slash) as well as secondary pulpwood that has been downgraded due to bark beetle damage, forest and storage rot. All chips produced from these materials are used as biofuel for electricity and heat production in CHP (combined heat & power) plants. Read more about this at nordicwoodjour...

Always nice to see these impressive chippers at work. But I still find the remote controlled Erjo from resent video as a really smart solution!
