This is the Taycan’s “.2” refresh. I think it looks great. Improvements are always welcome. I’m excited to see what they have in store for the next generation in the next 4-5 years.
Ok so the front of the Turbo S is different than the 4S and rear wheel drive. I’m just now realizing that. Also, people have to stop comparing cars like this to Tesla when it comes to pricing. This is a Porsche and also the fastest Porsches they make. High end 911 ‘s go for a quarter million and it’s slower. Tesla is a column brand! I don’t care how fast the Plaid is!
The base model's front looks exactly like it's an original molding, whereas the "a little busy" front work of the Turbo S looked like they ran out of plastic molding materials and so they haphazardly slapped different & small parts on after work (of course, the "real intent" was to "look cool" for teenage reasons, as there's no real efficacy or purpose to it)! Anyway, the seamlessly fitted together Tycan base model looks more like the exquisite Mercedes Benz's AMG GT3's own front (just simple non-frill, minimalist), in terms of "original molding" aesthetics: you don't see multi layers, multi plastic pieces next to each other or on top of one another, like the high end Taycan model.
If you travel in autobahn..like 140-160km speed (100mph) you get 160km range (100mile) for real..not 500km (300mile) ! Porsche overpriced ev is so stupid..if you drive performance and fast your battery dies in 30 minutes😂😂😂😂😂 what a fail
"Porsche increased everything"... Yeah, the price first. 😅 An electric Porsche? Well, might as well, since ICE cars are struggling to out-accelerate EV's... While there is a huge gap between brand recognition and "social status", I would rather spend just 40% of that Porsche price on a Xiaomi SU7 and get very similar performance. Yeah, the Porsche is likely to have a better chassis dynamic and probably lateral acceleration, but yeah, I would bet 95% of Porsche drivers have zero clue how to even drive their Porsches to even 60% of the designed capability... And I trust Xiaomi to know how to make electronics much better than Porsche. Yep, game over already as far as I am concerned.
@@uberalles9797 A car WAS not an electronic. But it will be so, more and more. I'm only making the observation. I understand the emotional attachment and connection to certain brands, but when those brands decided to throw away what created the emotional connections at the first place, then what is left? Other than an over-priced has-been?
The Taycan is very expensive! And I must agree that some folks are buying the prestige or brand name, to show off to their friends/neighbors, as opposed to buying the car to drive it to its performance potential. As a fan and owner of the Porsche 911, I hope people keep buying these cars, for whatever reason they buy them, so that they are available to people like me who actually drive them the way they were intended.
Sorry dude, but this "Xiaomi" thing is just a dramatically overhyped electric sh...t box! Why? Because some independent tests of this EV have shown very dramatically, how stupidly wannabe and horrible this vehicle is engineered. Especially the whole chassis of this thing is just huge gargabe! By the way: this EV has completely rip off aka stolen design, it has stolen technology and it drives like sh....t! 😂😂 If you really "compare" such a Chinese rip off POS crap EV with a totally superior Porsche Taycan of the latest generation, something really serious must be wrong with you...🤦♂🤦♂🤣🤣
As always, fantastic review Joe. Thank you.
Thanks for checking it out!

This is a beautiful car
Turbo-S! Nice upgrades.... ;-D
It's gorgeous. Too expensive though... The Turbo S is borderline entry level Ferrari money now.
