The Bryan Adams story is true. He bought a house in Chelsea , which is a posh area of London, and there was a pub a few doors down called The Kings Arms. And he bought it and shut it down for making too much noise
I think Karl may have been talking about the Coconut Crab. It kinda looks like a giant spider and is known to eat all sorts of things it can get its claws on, including birds. They're not a foot long though. They can get up to 3 ft.

The champagne cork stunt is on RUclips.
Had you seen Idiot Abroad by the way?
I've seen parts but not all. It's definitely on the infinite list of Karl content for the channel 😆
@@sensibleadviceguy you gotta see it! You should start it after series 4 of xfm. Can always come back to the random radio specials afterwards
It should be priority! Got to be the best Karl content there is
It needs to be watched asap
@@sensibleadviceguy Aside from the XFM shows, that is Karl's magnum opus.

He's probably talking about the Goliath Birdeater Tarantula. They can grow to a legspan of about a foot
The lower half of the long leg in the X of XFM isn’t parallel with the upper half, and it bugs the heck outta me
Tin pot radio station with tin pot graphic designers.
