IS-7 VS E-100 | War Thunder | Simulation of the chassis of the tank
The E-100 (Panzerkampfwagen E-100,) is a German super-heavy tank developed by Adler as part of the Entwicklung (development, development) program in 1943-1945. In total, one unfinished prototype was built (chassis and hull without turret).
IS-7 (Object 260) is an experienced Soviet heavy tank. The IS-7 was developed in 1945-1947, production was limited to six prototypes and a small number of pre-production vehicles produced in 1949. Like its predecessors, designed to break through powerful enemy defensive lines, the IS-7 had good armor protection. The most powerful tank of its time and one of the heaviest among Soviet tanks. The Armed Forces of the USSR were not accepted into service with the Soviet Army, but many of the technical solutions first used on this tank were subsequently successfully used in other serial tank combat vehicles.
