I just thought of something... If Betty feeds off of the fear in souls, then the best way to beat her is with the perfect martyr, someone unafraid or apathetic to what is going on around them.
Edit: in the circumstance of the magic in this universe, I would probably have something attributed to bloodlust (more specifically, an addiction to the thrill of the fight)

Hmm the fact that Papyrus actually survived being stabbed by betty's creations like that makes me think the skeletons actually have determination, but just not enough to defeat her or to be qualified determined.
