Totally underrated band. The Hollies were incredible. The 3 part harmonies between Clark, Nash and Hicks are spot on. The bass is superb. Bobby Elliott is a really great solid drummer.
Stellar song written by Tony Hazzard. This was the last single(and hit) including Gtaham Nash in the ranks. He would head for America shortly after and cofound the superb Crosby Stills and Nash.
Big error....should have continued the experimentation which started with the Evolution and Butterfly albums and King Midas single, this song doesn't even have the charm of the previous Jennifer Eccles single
Wow! I'm sorry to say, but this is their worst pop song, lyrically. A "fountain of jouvence" kind of song. Makes you feel happy the wrong way. Blame youth generation for being that naive and lazy, please. Thank you.
They sang beautiful harmony to some real duds sometimes. A pop band trying to keep up with the hippies and stay relevant. Singing Bob Dillion songs etc. They did have a better sound after Graham Nash left. Whether that was studio magic or his replacement sounded better , I don't know. I'm certainly no expert at that or much of anything. Just know what I like.
One of the most talented groups
So good!!!! The Hollies, my most favorite band from the sixties (and later)❤
They deserved much more recognition
They had the second most UK chart hits after the Beatles
@@jonnybirchyboy1560 Best British group ever as vocalists.
Jonny Birchyboy (We) mean in America
@@Ruda-n4h I’d say that accolade goes to Arrival.
Hadn't heard this one yet; what a positive groove....
I bloody love The Hollies! This is one of my favourites. x
Best British group ever as vocalists.
Love them all and still listening
@@Ruda-n4h Without doubt. I had forgotten how hot was Allan Clarke
@@rohansrider He may seem hot but he is very arrogant.
Mine too.
What a voice and that smile just melts me❤
Me too. Ooh ♥️♥️♥️

' Clarke* ' not " Clark ".
Probably the best song they ever recorded.
This good times with music called " Beat " are gone forever. But memories still remains
The last single with Graham Nash. Great harmonies
This was just the perfect song. The rhythm and lyrics were unmatched. What happened to music today ?
The Hollies forever and ever..how much I miss you!
One of their best. Love the intro.
It certainly was.
I've don't remember them, I was 11 at the time. It's so fun to discover music. And to see Graham Nash! Whoa 😮
Today's music disappears overnight I've been listening to the Hollies for 58yrs
wow!! never seen this footage before.. amazing!!!
Check out my 50s-60s playlist, I compiled nearly 300 of these
The Hollies live in the great German TV show "Beat Club".
Stellar song written by Tony Hazzard. This was the last single(and hit) including Gtaham Nash in the ranks. He would head for America shortly after and cofound the superb Crosby Stills and Nash.
I ve been lucky till now, never heard this before
may 2023 👍👍💪💪 scouser here
may 2024 🎼 😉
Thanks for posting this song. Some how through the years it seemed to have eluded me ✌️😇.
Such a handsome man love his looks so well dressed
Hit på hit, fantastisk gruppe. I'm Alice og Just one look, er favoritter.
Excelente, un saludo
super song
super Hit of the Hollies 1968
Brand new video for me. ❤️
Never get tired of watching and listening to the Hollies 🎶🎵🎼
Probably their catchiest number.
Graham's last song with The Hollies
He doesn't look too happy!
@@Ruda-n4h right!
I noticed that
Better than the Beatles
Not familiar with this one among their many hits so I gave it a listen.
❤️❤️
Love his sideburns
Fab sixties gruop, and one of the few that didnt do drugs
You can tell!
Was this ever in the live set?
what kind of guitar is tony playing
No sé pero está muy bonita, la verdad además muy elegante esa combinación de color
Could be Gretsch White Falcon...
Sings just like John Lennon
Hard to believe that this came out the same year as Jumpin Jack Flash. They didn't really keep up with the times.
The Hollies were fantastic but you always knew that Graham Nash was the one.
Graham Nash was the best, sad when he left buy on to better things. He was my favourite and still is.
Big error....should have continued the experimentation which started with the Evolution and Butterfly albums and King Midas single, this song doesn't even have the charm of the previous Jennifer Eccles single

This song sounds like Hey mrs housewife by Swinging blue jeans, think they both tony hazzard songs.
Boring even back then
