Other than creatine, what's the best supplement for an older natural bodybuilder
Rich Gaspari was considered to have a blocky waist back in those days. Today he would be praised for his tight waist. Guys like Nick Walker would be considered "fat" back then.
I can’t believe Bradley did that
No pro bodybuilder should have a GUT. Sad that I even have to point this out.
Lee Haney is the best Mr Olympia ever!!!!
Ronnie Coleman
@@johnnyesponge9218 Coleman is a bafoon!!! Lee is and was the best
@@luckyorion9634😂🤣 no
Yes@@Nick-ih5em
No Ronni Coleman is the best bodybuilder ever
Kevin had small waist though guys not blocky but beautiful inspiration though he was big. Lee Haney was 5"11 254lbs 31inch waist at his last best 1991. Elephant in the room not mentioned why today's guys look the way they do is due to gh and Insulin. After Lee Haney retired it went downhill what judges wanted Olympia should have had Shawn ray, flex wheeler and Kevin levrone win Olympia. Cedric Should have won an Olympia he had Haney like physique. Shawn rhodan looked great too
I agree, the V - taper disappeared and mass monsters took over. I think it started with Dorian Yates and lasted until Phil Heath. Now the V is coming around again.
Are we forgetting that Mr Lee Haney run away from Body Building because he was afraid of Dorian Yates.
@@JohnMichaels-fs7bi I don't think Lee was afraid. I think he saw how high Dorian was placing and knew that the judges were liking that super dense mass that Dorian brought. Lee probably didn't want to give up his physique which was aesthetic and classic v shaped. Where Dorian was the first mass monster. Lee had a historic run, he left on top.
@@DruSturdy Lee admitted it in a interview.. He could not win again against Dorian. So yes he was afraid.
@@JohnMichaels-fs7bi I've never seen the interview of Lee saying that. I've only seen him saying he had accomplished all he wanted to by the time Dorian arrived. Either way I like both of them.
Open is open you are correct Vic
Victor is right about Hunter Labrada. No way he's 5 foot 7 . He's lying. I stood next to him at the NY pro and I'm 5'10". He was maybe a hair shorter than me. LOL
Ya that dude with the heavy accent is always stating the wrong facts about shit. You're right man about Hunter not being 5'7 cause he was on record and video taped in front of everyone at 5'9 and a half and was 282lbs that day at an expo last year.
@@ebonysteel9158 yeah thats more like it.
Hunter is 5 foot nine bro
Lee Haney was the greatest ever and still healthy with no injuries, sorry but today bodybuilders have no class as far as representing the sport , they can't speak well and their bodies all look the same.
First view First Commet.... big Fan of Generation Iron from Dubai
🙏
I see what Lee Haney said, overdeveloped quads and underdeveloped calves is a very weird look
Salute to yall speaking about the real issues out here.
Vlad is clueless about bodybuilding. I mean, asking about sissy squats when the question is about hamstring development.
Lee Haney retired at 31!
Every era is the best era
Lee Haney's era, imo, was the best era of bodybuilding. I like the classic look because you're not looking like an absolute freak. It's also not as dangerous on the body because the steroid usage is not as heavy. Before you start bashing what I'm saying, do your own research. I'm not looking for no argument, it's just a fact.
Hammies: low reps, heavy. Slow twitch fibers . You're welcome😊
Sent you guys my questions. Hopefully I picked one day. Shout out to Vic!
Victor of 2007 wins the O easily today!
Imagine him shitting asking for tissue
Intercostals...??? 🤦🏾♂️
Greatest! Lee Haney!
Total Lee awesome.
Team Vic!
♥️♥️♥️
Deep intercostals???? That is the ribcage.
Florida has no entrapment law
Fullsuport😊😊😊😊
I am just here staring at Victor's bicep.
me too lol
Lee Haney was the last great physique for the main category, much better than ronnie Coleman who looked better when he first started competing professionally because he had proportion mass and asthetics. by it being based solely on mass it ruins the art of the endeavor. Dorian Yates was good in 91-92 but then got too blocky in the midsection, gotta get that Frank Zane/Vince Gironda midsection.
Imo we already have the classic physique division for aesthetics bodybuilders, the Open should be for crazy muscle mass, for freaks. Because not many people can get that kind of muscle mass.
yes im tired of the old head seethers. Yates moved the wheel and evolved the sport. Moving away from mass is a regression. It'd be like nba players going back to playing without dunks or highlight reels
Yes I don't necessarily agree with Victor here. I don't think every open guy would be a great at classic either and vice versa. Genetics and frame play a big part. For example, Ronnie the GOAT wouldn't have been the GOAT if there were height/weight restrictions. Guys like Flex and Levrone would have beat him if he weren't so massive.
@@BHill03 some years Ronnie’s gut was so distended that he made Walker look like a board shorts bro, but he overwhelmed everyone in mass and detail. I think the judges are being influenced by what is said in forums and such and everyone is constantly seething that bodybuilders don’t look like Arnold did (which is like no shit they’re way bigger now)
The current mr o dwarfs lee Haney. And he can pull a vacuum.
@@SafetyPropagandatrue, I'm sure pre steroid era dudes would say the same about the juice heads
24:40 can't disagree with what Martinez is saying here.
Haney and Yates are becoming embarrassments to the sport. They both don't even look remotely like bodybuilders. Look at Jay Cutler, Branch Warren, Dennis James, Gary Strydom, Marcus Rhule etc. Hardcore till they die!!
Maybe because they dont train anymore?? And who are YOU anyway? 🤡
You realize Lee Haney and Dorian Yates are literally from an era BEFORE all the guys you mentioned right 🤔🤦🏾♂️
