Fought that one too when we were introducing magnifiers. Ironic that when we add a magnified optic, suddenly there is a concern about cops shooting beyond their abilities, yet we see it constantly with pistols and nothing ever changes 🤔
I work with guys who only care about group size. I can rip a sub 2 bill, and if their sub 4 bill has a tighter group, they dub themselves a better shooter.
Great conversation. There are always current or former LE shooters at my local USPSA matches so maybe things are slowly changing for the better. Also It would be cool if you could interview Matt Pranka in the future.
My old agency said no to LPVOs as they didn't want the guns turning into sniper
