You can take it slowly as I can see Allah is speaking to you and you feel it when I see tears. I am a revert, and have been for nearly 20 years and 61 yrs young this year. Plus, I became disabled in my fortis. And I only started wearing my hijab since last year when I was ready. You are ready to accept Islam. You are an amazing young lady. We make dua and ask for assistance in our lives. Can be done anytime of day. Many people do it after prayer is complete. But dua can be done anytime. Will make dua for your mother in law and you inshallah.
