I've heard a lot of tones before, but that sounds exactly like 10,000 days from Tool because I remember hearing Jambi getting played loud as f*** at big day out in Australia. I used to live 5 minutes down the road from it. 2007 that was.
I have 'invested' in digital modelling. And studio equipment. Havent used any amp in the last ten years. Only for giggles. With technology these days, you don't need those bulldozers anymore. Floorboard straight up in PA and you are good to go.
Are you positive all of the amps are in phase with each other? Something in the top end sounds a bit strange like one is out. I know when I used to run my VH4 and Knucklehead Tre (I know, different model) together live, Ch3 on the VH4 and channel 2 on the Tre were out of phase, and I had to use an RJM box to control that.
Hey yeah ch3 and ch2 run 180 out of phase. I have corrected for that to. My feeling is the gain on the Hagen is a little off. Hence why I sold the Hagen
@@sonnydinkelaar bass on 3 o clock, mids either full or 3ish. Treble set 2 o clock. Vol about midday. And gain between 12 and 2 depending on how much gain your amp has
It sounds good. But you won’t ever be accurate if the cabs aren’t being mic’d up. When you’re listening to the album, you’re hearing the amp through the cab and into a microphone, or multiple microphones. Different microphones can drastically change how an amp/cab sounds on a recording. “In the room” sound coming directly from an amp/cab will never sound the same as an amp/cab being recorded/picked up through a mic and then sent to front of house or an FRFR. This is precisely why I am a huge fan of modelers running IR with different mics.
It sounds bad ass, I bet when you’re there in person it thumps. I went to full sail for audio and one of the biggest things they said was people don’t use enough bass in their mixes. So I’m always listening from that view point, like damn that sounds good but if it had more bass, it would sound KILLER!!!
This is why we work jobs (to get beautiful amps and large cap collections). Nailed the tone
Nothing better than new toys to play with
Yeah fk that cortex sht. 🤘nice rigs
"Neighbours hate him for using this one simple trick"
More like 10,000 Dollars
The bass player has a Wal, that's almost the cost of just that tbh
@@zachjones1716these days $10k for a Wal is a steal 😂

Amps are nice but you gotta practice Adam’s technique more.
what order do I need to chain my sports hats in to get this sound?
Sounds really good man. Beautiful rig also. Thanks for sharing this
Nothing sounds as cool as a wall of amps

I agree, but I bet most in this comment section won’t lol.
Nailed it! Sounds so good!🤘
Thank you so much for putting this together
Its not a bad tone, but I would try mixing in some of the Marshall and try using different IRs.
😂 oh wow I never thought of that
Hahahaha
Ballin’ tone my man, love seeing the rig progress in the FB group too
Thanks man… it’s a lot of fun
I wouldn't say you nailed it but it is still pretty cool
have a closer listen to the album
@@gavinstorkey675 you can try to record through a decent studio mic and we can consider nailing a tone
@@ataydaloglu yeah i am sure this tone will nail that. But alas... no more cash for mics
@@B4_J20 😂 like starwars fans
@@gavinstorkey675 Did you blow it all on amps or something? ;)
Indeed, sounds very good, congrats!!

And i thought i was cool with a dvh4 pedal. What guitar and pick ups are those? Congrats man …. Thats amazing spot on…
Thanks man. It’s a journey for everyone
What guitar and pickups are those
are the 3 4x12 on? thats some sound.
Great playing and amp
is there a G12K-100 in the cabs? I feel like I can only emulate the tones using G12K100 and V30 IRs
Let's hope Adam drops by to weigh in.
Guess its time for me to sell a kidney
why use 3 amps for a thin tone
it is compressed into the room mic. when you turn off each amp u notice the difference. 3 amps fills the lows mids and highs
@@gavinstorkey675 i get that but its still thin
@obsidiancrow450 put in head phones. Tones beefy af but has that crisp high end ontop
What are the channel 3, deep and presence settings? Got a vh4 2. Thanks! Awesome sounds dude
Presence is about 1 o clock. Deep about 2 o clock
Bij@@gavinstorkey675thanks! what about the rest of ch 3?

Massive 🔥🔥🔥🔥

More BASS

$10000 Dollars tone
That’s cheap
Also sounds like deftones lol
I should try some deftones riffs
Tone is good. But practice more
Don't get me wrong , I love tool and adam jones . You just spent all that money to sound like someone else though .
It's sounds gutless to be honest. No power, no gas.
Just sell your car. Spend 13k on Amps and Cabs. You will not have to go to work anymore. 😅
Cute but no buddy…sorry…
skinny little Missy???? Nickelback...??
Playing needs some work my guy
He's working on it clearly
That’s too much money to replicate someone else’s sound lol
"I'll allow it."
thats horrid. why dont you create your own sound?
Nope. Thats a tone. Not the tone. Sounds bad tbh.
