This is giving me so much inspiration for our future home we plan to build in 3 years. I'm glad you brought up the reason for you putting the roses in raised beds because I was going to ask that very question.
Beautiful labor of love! I can almost smell the scent of the fresh spring morning air after the rain. You have created an incredible collection! Thanks for sharing.
I love the layout and functionality of your rose garden. Very pretty! I have 2 Tess' that's been in ground for 3 years and the blooms are absolutely spectacular...so full and lush!
Thank you for this! I just planted a Carding Mill standard and havent found many pics or videos of this rose in tree form. Yours look lovely so I'm even more excited for mine! 😀
Hi Kimberley, very nice to have a first flush already. Your front garden is looking lovely. You have done so much work on your garden this past year and it shows.
Seeing your beautiful rose gardens, I had to subscribe! Your climbers on the white picket fence are stunning. I need that look in my garden, but I'll need to wait until my white, metal gazebo gives up the ghost. It's my first year for David Austin roses and I'm so excited! I chose Gabriel Oak, James Galway and Eustacia-Vye.
Stunning garden! Thanks for sharing. That black mulch, just FYI. If that’s got dye, which it does look like, that’s incredibly bad for roses. Over time the chemicals stop the roses from taking up the nutrients from the soil.
Thank you! I use the least expensive mulch I can find at my box store. It breaks down really quickly for us and nourishes the soil. I like the black also! Thank you for watching.
Hi Kimberley. Your garden is looking so beautiful! You mentioned dealing with the sawflies, and I was just wondering how you handle them. What's your best method? They're so bad right now!
May I ask how you keep your roses healthy? I deal with a lot of black spot that takes over the plant. Do you just use a standard fungicide? Thank you so much!
@@TheRoseGeek hello Kim! I’ve been watching when I can. My mom’s care escalated and I got a new puppy so I’ve had you on my phone while gardening. Your garden looks AMAZING!
Your borders are truly awesome, as is your gorgeous roses collection. May I ask, a part from the bark do you add weed barrier to stop the weeds going through? Thanks
wow, how many varieties of roses are in your garden? ! they look so healthy! I have japanese beetles in the area from farm land. what do you use to do pest control for roses? also which USDA zone are you located? David Austine roses seem not doing very well in Zone 4.
@@TheRoseGeek thank you so much for taking time answering my questions! Yes, I recently started to try Neem oil, seems working now. Thinking about getting more roses once beetles are in control. Will look into the type you recommend.
At 14:35 how many desdemona bushes are there? I have 3 of each of Scepter’d Isle, LOS, Munstead wood, and PAOK. I am struggling with placing these together in the same area-I’m afraid the color won’t all look good together. Any advice?
@@TheRoseGeek спасибо за ответ. Я тоже люблю розы,у меня их много.Я обкладываю розы скошенной травой. Ваш розарий сказочный.Мой розарий выходного дня.Это жить надо при розах.У меня это не получается.
Looking FANTASTIC 😍
I would love to see a Time-Lapse of a complete Season...Phenomenal!

I'm still mulching too! We've had a lot more rain in North Texas so I'm totally off schedule this year. Enjoying so many blooms though!

So inspiring and beautiful! What do you use for your mulch? It looks so dark and fine bark. Love it!

Everything looks amazing! Would you please show us rose newbies how to deal with sawfly larvae? Thanks!
Beautiful ❤

@@TheRoseGeek Wow, they look amazing.

Hi Kim. I think that’s Diamantina clematis. I have one and it looks just like yours, not deep blue like the catalogs say.
@@TheRoseGeek hello Kim! I’ve been watching when I can. My mom’s care escalated and I got a new puppy so I’ve had you on my phone while gardening.

Hi Kim , Where from did you get your Francis Meilland rose? Looks so healthy!❤️

I think the clematis is Diamantina. I have the same one.
I like the spacing on your roses. Are they on 3 or 4 foot centers?
