If anything I would just like to add a little to your theory. She has mentioned before that they had ongoing conversations for HDL, which is where I think the constant texting took place. She's expressed that she was surprised about how forthcoming he was. Considering their introverted nature this would be the best way to communicate. Now as a theatre major/actor, I know the practice of having to build chemistry. It's 100% trust, in your abilities and the other person. So i think through texting, constant communication, and ungodly hours of filming is how they built their chemistry and got to know each better, in and out of character. AKA through the 1300 year old granny. Now in the song theirs a part in the song where she doesn't receive those "daily/constant" messages. I think that may have been after filming when everything has wrapped and both parties parted ways. Kind of like realization struck that they're no longer communicating as often. It was the "supposed consistency of daily messages" that made her realize that maybe their was something more. Something had blossomed, pun is definitely intended. And I guess their "similar" personality/ nature caught up to them and they confessed...at least that's what the video wants us to believe. Just an interpretation. Sorry for the rant.

And now that I see it --it makes total sense. Weren't there several pictures of someone in class constantly texting when they should have been focusing in class? Or that certain person walking around school with phone in hand while texting? 👏 👏

She wrote a part of the song in 2017, not the entire song. Regardless when she wrote the song doesn’t matter because my video is strictly about the MV content. I don’t think she wrote the lyrics for or about him. The MV’s concept and story is what I was looking at.
