Thanks for the update Brother. I think you're right about the multiple freezes causing the sealing problem. I've been using mine for just a bit over 7 months now (no freezing... just heating) and haven't had any issues so far.
    Stay safe....

That's good to know. I've got a couple of these, but I switched to reusing liter smart water bottles when I started freezing my bottles for hikes. Thanks for the update.

I been caring the multi use cup and bottle for about four months now in my urban extended EDC. I have come like it. Its lighter than the guyot. But would like too see the cup/lid made from some thing a little more heat resistant. Great interview thanks for posting.

If it has an o-ring on the plastic cup that could need replacing if you could find a new one. That might stop it from leaking and slipping when tightened. Good video.

For your information, water expands when frozen and as such have slightly stripped the threads of your container. Next time you want to freeze your water, fill the bottle only 4/5 full to provide space for expansion.

I have the Stanley 32oz water bottle, and 24oz thermos and they both work great. The food jar not so much (got a leak and the vacuum broke.) Stanley products overall are good low cost products.

I'm thinking the same about the o ring. That bit of offset might tighten up the seal again.

Not cool. :( Even if your use was "not typical", that's kind of lame that the plastic is so flimsy. Hopefully Stanley is watching to ramp up the next revision.
I guess for the cost, the trade-off is pretty minimal. Thanks for the update.
