This isn't only helpful, but a true testament of how wonderful you are at making how-to videos. I can listen to your relaxed presentation all day! Thank you for your time and effort!
Thank you so much for this. I thought it might have been impossible but it actually took less that 20 minutes, and was just as easy as you showed. I carefully did not disconnect the entire door panel wires and things went just fine. The replacement parts from Amazon swivel and adjust very stiffly but I suspect they will ease over time. You saved me a a lot of time and money if I had chosen to go to the dealer for this, but I was actually just going to live with it since the car is old. But instead, for a few bucks and a few minutes, I'm very pleased with how the interior looks a little closer to new. Thanks again.
Legit perfect tutorial. Thank you, just ordered parts and going to do this as soon as they come in. Start to finish with actually showing what you did/what to expect 🎉
Replacing mine today. Seems like this is a common issue. I recommend using the electronic lock/unlock rather than pulling the handle out to unlock it. That should avoid future breaking of the plastic gear. Thanks for the tutorial, it was very helpful!

Thank you for this video. It motivated me to replace the broken handles in our 2012 MKZ. I just ordered the handles from Amazon.

If you pull the handle and the lock at the same time….opens. Until the plastic lock lever breaks
