I love how the story just takes a drastic turn for the lulz when it comes to Hisami. Zanmu was properly established as a magnificent bastard archetype in the first half of the story through the first protagonists- which we see in full effect in the matriarch's storylines, only for Hisami's storyline to literally just be a pleasure kink. Really does a nice job of adding a comedic element to Zanmu's seriousness.
