Omg that’s amazing! Every now and then you can really find some great Halloween finds at Goodwill. The best I’ve found was this like 5 ft tall outdoor light up spooky tree from Grandin Road. The Headless Horsemen is even more amazing
Jade - I have to let you know that a few days ago I had to get a third major surgery in less than a 1.5 year span. And the surgery got delayed by a few hours and I was so upset and anxious and scared, so my mom and I watched your Halloween hunting videos to pass the time and distract me. It made me laugh and calmed me down before surgery and I’m so thankful for your content. Now I’m at home recovering and was so happy to see another super long video uploaded ♥️ you are the best! Hey Ghoul Hey :) Halloween is just starting to arrive where I live (Salmon Arm B.C. Canada) .Our dollar stores are just getting started and a few things in Winners but Walmart has just bags of candy.Our school year won't start till first week in Sept. so the school supplies are still out . Our fabricland has it's Halloween fabric in and I want to buy it all of course. I want to make Halloween pillows because you can't find much in my small city and because of our lovely covid sit. ,my Dr. doesn't want me to travel. Last week I went Halloween Decor Hunting and bought the black throw blanket with skulls from Ross, the metal Hunted House from Homegoods, and I was very happy to find the Walmart pillow (the jack o lantern with the witch hat)... the only thing that I'm missing from my list are the bat pedestals from Target. Haven't been able to find them, but they are putting Halloween out so fingers crossed.
I wish I could go to HomeGoods, they seem to have so much neat stuff. Sadly they are so slammed on weekends you can't move, plus they have no electric scooters for the disabled. I actually like the skull purse in the cream better, now I want it. Target changed the name from Dollar Spot to Bullseye Playground because they raised the prices in that area well beyond a dollar or $3. I still call it Dollar Spot too. Also, as your roots have grown out a bit your hair looks even more amazing!
I love that Jade is so positive and the comments have been great, and I’m really not trying to bring down the energy, but I need to have an honest conversation with the spooky fam: is anyone else starting to get sick of BBWs holiday releases that they don’t even want to bother anymore? They are such a large conglomerate, literally valued at over 10 billion dollars, and yet their items are on the semi pricey side, and they know their holiday items are high demand, yet they can’t keep up with demand or make sure online orders arrive, and if items do arrive that actually arrive and aren’t broken? No stores by me have the crystal ball night plug. Some of the orders to the store arrived damaged so they couldn’t even sell most of the products in the boxes which means less items made it to the floor. They aren’t even sure they’ll restock. I ordered this three times online: the first time it day viewed online was my first order- my order was canceled due to insufficient product count. I ordered again on the online restock cause at that time stores didn’t even have Halloween or fall items in store yet - my package got lost and they couldn’t send me a replacement. Finally went to BBW cause they had it in stock- drove an hour away to the only BBW that had literally only one left, came to store, bought it, and as the cashier was bagging it for me, they dropped it and the item broke so I didn’t want that anymore cause it didn’t even work (we tested it- it didn’t light up at all). Now no stores have the item in stock on location. It restocked again online and same thing happened- waited 9 days, tracking wasn’t updated, kept calling and emailing customer service for a response before eventually being told my item is lost and they can’t send me a replacement: only a refund or they can give me a completely different item. Resellers are charging between 80-140 not including tax or shipping FOR A $18.50 PLUG IN. I know Jade mentioned it in a past video about how a lot of people were frustrated at witch/vampire hand, cause their orders also were missing or arrived broken (resellers are even trying to sell it with missing fingers saying it makes it more spooky) but it just seems to be getting worse. I ordered the graveyard pedestal, went to the front to grab my package, and my packaging was literally leaking. You know what that means, I opened it, and not only was my thing busted, but they didn’t even bother wrapping it- there was no paper or bubble wrap at all. And before you go “damn this ghoul is butthurt, it’s not even that big of a deal”, it’s not just me. Jade has brought it up in other videos about people complaining about their orders, the reviews online are almost all negative cause items go missing and they can’t replace the product or people are receiving broken products. Last year was the same with the haunted house projector but it wasn’t to this extent of awful. BBW has got all this money, and they know their items are popular, and they can’t even make enough product and have those items shipped safely? Cmon man, when people say they want something spooky, this is not what we meant! 😩
What i dont understand is how they let these resllers buy up everything and make HUGE profit off their products......like dont YALL want that money?? If they put limits on purchases and made enough products and actuslly shipped them good ...theyd make money. They really are so messed up. This is my 1st and probly last year ever buying from them. Last year was my 1st and bad experiance with them when trying to get the glitter bat pockt bac...(never had a chance to get one still). Resellers bought it all and even now some shoppers just buy in surplus so resellers can’t and so they have back ups and back up back ups. I don’t have too many homegoods near me so I usually call to see if they have a specific item or brands,because I am not driving 40-70 mins for no reason just to drive another 40-70 mins back home during traffic. I called asking to see if they had ANY Rae dunn Halloween (not even looking for a specific item) and some Disney Halloween and they responded “oh Rae dunn and Disney have been black listed. I can’t tell you if we do or don’t have them. I’m not allowed to say anything so I kind of have to ignore your question. You just have to come in and see” and I bluntly said cause I was so annoyed with her attitude and how quickly she wanted to end the call, “I live an hour away. I’m not driving two hours in traffic, wasting gas and time for nothing. If this was a 30 min or under drive I wouldn’t mind cause it’s a short trip, but driving to your location is like a road trip. It’s cause of resellers right? Why blacklist an item? Wouldnt a limit be better?” And she goes “yeah mainly cause of that. And yeah sure I guess a limit is better. Ma’am I have to get off the phone cause I can’t talk about those brands anymore. Sorry. Goodbye.” UH WHUT. This has become ridiculous!
Yes to all of this. I got a faulty candle this year early on and I decided that they are just no longer getting money from me. It probably helped that I thought all of their Halloween stuff was really crappy anyway, I didn't like the hand at all. I thought it was plain and basic. But either way they clearly have dropped their quality standards

I did a french vanilla cappuccino there the other day and it tasted weird. I think it might be the coffee. Starbucks does that deep rich coffee that tastes like the feel of a cave in a good way even when you have it black. I love that crap so much I get bags (or cups, whichever pot I feel like using any given day) and do it at home. Makes the place smell like the store when I do the french press.
I've seen multiple skulls this year that were just..off somehow on the shape, usually the mouth. Not here for it. But you know what we never see? Vampire skull. That I would be interested in!

I work transportation. The ports are really backed up as whomever pays the cvd cleaning fees and whomever pays the carriers the most get their products first. My husband works for a company that has had products on a ship since Nov of last year. Being in transportation I have really seen the behind the scenes of what these last couple years have been and people are really going to start seeing the shortages soon pick up. Sadly unsure what will be off ships and even the port itself in time even for Christmas. It's nuts out there. Hopefully spirit is willing to pay those premium rates carriers are charging.
My daughter works at Dunkins and I believe the pumpkin coffee is regular coffee with pumpkin swirl in it and pumpkin flavored cold foam. The swirl is really sweet.

i work at a Michael's & the witchy decor is called Enchanted Forest, the one with the snake was from the collection Pretty Scary.. we usually keep them separate but i like the way it looks combined! loved the video.
Some of our Spirit stores don't open until Sept 9...that is really late...but the few that have opened are crazy busy so hopefully they will do well this year.
Unfortunately I was watching another RUclipsr’s vlog (Tim tracker) and when they tried going to target for Halloween stuff, the employees at their target said they won’t be stocking Halloween things until the end of September (other than candy I believe)

Went to Walmart yesterday and they're VERY SLOWLY starting to put Halloween stuff out. Mostly little musical things that light up and spin and make sounds. Plus bottle brush trees and mini black Christmas trees with Halloween printed fabric at the bases.
Ooh I want to get one of those mini Christmas trees... The walmart here's crawling, too, though probably slower than yours. School season's near-done, followed by a month of football stuff before they finally start pulling out the Halloween stuff. At least they're getting autumn foliage out early, I tend to stick those in among my Halloween decor.

Hi! Love that Betsey purse! I work at a Target in San Antonio and we are getting little bits and peices in at the dollar spot(playground). Halloween rubber spatulas with cookie cutters attached (three designs), the little figurines that you showed, bat pedestals, but they sell out as soon as I put them out. Really frustrating as my shelves look an empty mess. I need to hit Michaels for the pastel goth items.
I was at my Home Goods last week and saw that black skull cookie jar. Was all excited when I spotted it from afar, ran over to it and went ooh, weird looking. Totally in agreeance with you on it being shaped oddly.

My husband is the same way about spiders, so I'm the official spider hunter in our house. We're in Florida so we get big wolf spiders, which FREAK him out! I always scoop them up and set them free in the yard and he's like, "JUST KILL IT!!!" 🕷
LOL my mom's the same way. My response is they catch the more annoying insects lol. There's a web hanging across the top three inches of my doorway that's been there for most of the summer and reconstructed by its occupant a couple of times. My landlord called me about it last week, asking if I'd been aware it was there (I'm visually impaired), and asked me if I'd like her to send someone over to take care of it. I politely declined and said I'm alright ducking around it. That spider lets me keep my front door open with fewer flies getting in, I'm happy to let it hang around for as long as it wants lol.

Its kinda the opposite of religion in a way 🙄 I suggest to research the origin of Halloween, and most Christian holidays are derived from old Celtic or Roman holidays. Anyways, I just like to research random things like this.

If only your parents knew the history of about 87% of their religious practices, and the almost (not entirely) identical mythology of most of the rest of it that is elsewhere in the world. Here's something fascinating: The Old Testament in Hebrew heavily emphasises what the Christian god physically looked like, and he certainly wasn't human. There's a video on youtube about it somewhere, and I've double-checked as close to the source material as I could get my hands on, and asked people who had access to better sources than I. I learned it and though I'm still quite pagan, Christianity did become a lot cooler after learning that lol.

Hey Ghoul Hey :) Halloween is just starting to arrive where I live (Salmon Arm B.C. Canada) .Our dollar stores are just getting started and a few things in Winners but Walmart has just bags of candy.Our school year won't start till first week in Sept. so the school supplies are still out . Our fabricland has it's Halloween fabric in and I want to buy it all of course. I want to make Halloween pillows because you can't find much in my small city and because of our lovely covid sit. ,my Dr. doesn't want me to travel. Last week I went Halloween Decor Hunting and bought the black throw blanket with skulls from Ross, the metal Hunted House from Homegoods, and I was very happy to find the Walmart pillow (the jack o lantern with the witch hat)... the only thing that I'm missing from my list are the bat pedestals from Target. Haven't been able to find them, but they are putting Halloween out so fingers crossed.
My suggestion for a spookier version? "We'll go to wherever the Graveyard Mist floats us." 🖤🪦💀🎃

I wish I could go to HomeGoods, they seem to have so much neat stuff. Sadly they are so slammed on weekends you can't move, plus they have no electric scooters for the disabled. I actually like the skull purse in the cream better, now I want it. Target changed the name from Dollar Spot to Bullseye Playground because they raised the prices in that area well beyond a dollar or $3. I still call it Dollar Spot too. Also, as your roots have grown out a bit your hair looks even more amazing!
I love that Jade is so positive and the comments have been great, and I’m really not trying to bring down the energy, but I need to have an honest conversation with the spooky fam: is anyone else starting to get sick of BBWs holiday releases that they don’t even want to bother anymore? They are such a large conglomerate, literally valued at over 10 billion dollars, and yet their items are on the semi pricey side, and they know their holiday items are high demand, yet they can’t keep up with demand or make sure online orders arrive, and if items do arrive that actually arrive and aren’t broken?
No stores by me have the crystal ball night plug. Some of the orders to the store arrived damaged so they couldn’t even sell most of the products in the boxes which means less items made it to the floor. They aren’t even sure they’ll restock. I ordered this three times online: the first time it day viewed online was my first order- my order was canceled due to insufficient product count. I ordered again on the online restock cause at that time stores didn’t even have Halloween or fall items in store yet - my package got lost and they couldn’t send me a replacement. Finally went to BBW cause they had it in stock- drove an hour away to the only BBW that had literally only one left, came to store, bought it, and as the cashier was bagging it for me, they dropped it and the item broke so I didn’t want that anymore cause it didn’t even work (we tested it- it didn’t light up at all). Now no stores have the item in stock on location. It restocked again online and same thing happened- waited 9 days, tracking wasn’t updated, kept calling and emailing customer service for a response before eventually being told my item is lost and they can’t send me a replacement: only a refund or they can give me a completely different item. Resellers are charging between 80-140 not including tax or shipping FOR A $18.50 PLUG IN.
I know Jade mentioned it in a past video about how a lot of people were frustrated at witch/vampire hand, cause their orders also were missing or arrived broken (resellers are even trying to sell it with missing fingers saying it makes it more spooky) but it just seems to be getting worse. I ordered the graveyard pedestal, went to the front to grab my package, and my packaging was literally leaking. You know what that means, I opened it, and not only was my thing busted, but they didn’t even bother wrapping it- there was no paper or bubble wrap at all. And before you go “damn this ghoul is butthurt, it’s not even that big of a deal”, it’s not just me. Jade has brought it up in other videos about people complaining about their orders, the reviews online are almost all negative cause items go missing and they can’t replace the product or people are receiving broken products. Last year was the same with the haunted house projector but it wasn’t to this extent of awful.
BBW has got all this money, and they know their items are popular, and they can’t even make enough product and have those items shipped safely? Cmon man, when people say they want something spooky, this is not what we meant! 😩

What i dont understand is how they let these resllers buy up everything and make HUGE profit off their products......like dont YALL want that money?? If they put limits on purchases and made enough products and actuslly shipped them good ...theyd make money. They really are so messed up. This is my 1st and probly last year ever buying from them. Last year was my 1st and bad experiance with them when trying to get the glitter bat pockt bac...(never had a chance to get one still). Idk how long they have been like this but not a good impression.

Resellers bought it all and even now some shoppers just buy in surplus so resellers can’t and so they have back ups and back up back ups. That way if something breaks or gets ruined, then they don’t have to buy from a reseller. I don’t have too many homegoods near me so I usually call to see if they have a specific item or brands,because I am not driving 40-70 mins for no reason just to drive another 40-70 mins back home during traffic. I called asking to see if they had ANY Rae dunn Halloween (not even looking for a specific item) and some Disney Halloween and they responded “oh Rae dunn and Disney have been black listed. I can’t tell you if we do or don’t have them. I’m not allowed to say anything so I kind of have to ignore your question. You just have to come in and see” and I bluntly said cause I was so annoyed with her attitude and how quickly she wanted to end the call, “I live an hour away. I’m not driving two hours in traffic, wasting gas and time for nothing. If this was a 30 min or under drive I wouldn’t mind cause it’s a short trip, but driving to your location is like a road trip. It’s cause of resellers right? Why blacklist an item? Wouldnt a limit be better?” And she goes “yeah mainly cause of that. And yeah sure I guess a limit is better. Ma’am I have to get off the phone cause I can’t talk about those brands anymore. Sorry. Goodbye.”

Yes to all of this. I got a faulty candle this year early on and I decided that they are just no longer getting money from me. It probably helped that I thought all of their Halloween stuff was really crappy anyway, I didn't like the hand at all. I thought it was plain and basic. But either way they clearly have dropped their quality standards

I did a french vanilla cappuccino there the other day and it tasted weird. I think it might be the coffee. Starbucks does that deep rich coffee that tastes like the feel of a cave in a good way even when you have it black. I love that crap so much I get bags (or cups, whichever pot I feel like using any given day) and do it at home. Makes the place smell like the store when I do the french press.
I've seen multiple skulls this year that were just..off somehow on the shape, usually the mouth. Not here for it. But you know what we never see? Vampire skull. That I would be interested in!

I work transportation. The ports are really backed up as whomever pays the cvd cleaning fees and whomever pays the carriers the most get their products first. My husband works for a company that has had products on a ship since Nov of last year. Being in transportation I have really seen the behind the scenes of what these last couple years have been and people are really going to start seeing the shortages soon pick up. Sadly unsure what will be off ships and even the port itself in time even for Christmas. It's nuts out there. Hopefully spirit is willing to pay those premium rates carriers are charging.
My daughter works at Dunkins and I believe the pumpkin coffee is regular coffee with pumpkin swirl in it and pumpkin flavored cold foam. The swirl is really sweet.

i work at a Michael's & the witchy decor is called Enchanted Forest, the one with the snake was from the collection Pretty Scary.. we usually keep them separate but i like the way it looks combined! loved the video.

Went to Walmart yesterday and they're VERY SLOWLY starting to put Halloween stuff out. Mostly little musical things that light up and spin and make sounds. Plus bottle brush trees and mini black Christmas trees with Halloween printed fabric at the bases.
Ooh I want to get one of those mini Christmas trees... The walmart here's crawling, too, though probably slower than yours. School season's near-done, followed by a month of football stuff before they finally start pulling out the Halloween stuff. At least they're getting autumn foliage out early, I tend to stick those in among my Halloween decor.

Hi! Love that Betsey purse! I work at a Target in San Antonio and we are getting little bits and peices in at the dollar spot(playground). Halloween rubber spatulas with cookie cutters attached (three designs), the little figurines that you showed, bat pedestals, but they sell out as soon as I put them out. Really frustrating as my shelves look an empty mess. I need to hit Michaels for the pastel goth items.

My husband is the same way about spiders, so I'm the official spider hunter in our house. We're in Florida so we get big wolf spiders, which FREAK him out! I always scoop them up and set them free in the yard and he's like, "JUST KILL IT!!!" 🕷
LOL my mom's the same way. My response is they catch the more annoying insects lol. There's a web hanging across the top three inches of my doorway that's been there for most of the summer and reconstructed by its occupant a couple of times. My landlord called me about it last week, asking if I'd been aware it was there (I'm visually impaired), and asked me if I'd like her to send someone over to take care of it. I politely declined and said I'm alright ducking around it. That spider lets me keep my front door open with fewer flies getting in, I'm happy to let it hang around for as long as it wants lol.

If only your parents knew the history of about 87% of their religious practices, and the almost (not entirely) identical mythology of most of the rest of it that is elsewhere in the world. Here's something fascinating: The Old Testament in Hebrew heavily emphasises what the Christian god physically looked like, and he certainly wasn't human. There's a video on youtube about it somewhere, and I've double-checked as close to the source material as I could get my hands on, and asked people who had access to better sources than I. I learned it and though I'm still quite pagan, Christianity did become a lot cooler after learning that lol.
I was the same growing up. My whole family thought Halloween was evil. Once I grew up and got my own place I decked it out in Halloween lol
