You need to get yourself an electric heat mat, they're so so brilliant for pain. I use one all the time because I have inflammatory bowl issues and this mat is the best thing I ever purchased. It will really help you ❤

Since i became disabled and a wheelchair user 17 years ago I've not been able to find a partner. You mention wheelchair and men blank you, block you on dating apps or just pretend you dont exist. I'm so happy for you that you've got matt to lean on as treatment for any disease can be a very lonely place to find yourself. I know because I speak from experience. Just know Tiffany that you will never be alone. Matt appears to be a keeper and your family and friendship circle is awsome. Hi Tiffany! I was diagnosed with cancer this year and I am in my fourth cycle of chemotherapy. Currently writing this from the hospital. My type of cancer however is one where I can’t go out at all as I can’t fight off infections, so RUclips has been my only way to see the outside world for half a year now! You can see a small video of me at the hospital that I have posted on my channel :) I can relate to your journey in many ways so much and love watching your videos. Dear Tiffany, oh how we love you and your family. Thank you for sharing this difficult journey. As a cancer survivor myself, and it went to the lymph nodes, I can tell you miracles happen. I pray for you and your family everyday. Some words of advice… make sure you make time to cry, my shower became my crying partner and it was very healthy for me. Sometimes I had to allow myself to let it out because I buried it so deep to be strong for my family. It is a great release. We love you Tiffany. ❤️
TAnn, such perfect advice. I think a lot of us do exactly that, let it out in the shower. Running water drowns out the sobbing quite well. Then the warm water flowing over you is very cathartic! Then you can start over, fresh! Be well my friend🙏
Try using a little Vaseline (petroleum jelly) or Aquaphor healing ointment in each nostril, especially at night. The little capillaries in your nostrils are drying out and then breaking open. A humidifier next to your bed at night would help a lot too. So glad you guys had a lovely date. Looked like a lot of fun:) We’ve got this💙🦋💙
Carolyn McLeod PLEASE NEVER USE VASELINE IN YOUR NOSE. I worked for a lung doctor and he always stressed this. Vaseline is a petroleum product. Your nose may be dry so you can use a saline nasal spray. Always speak to your doctor for medication advice.
Nosebleeds are fairly common with chemo; that said, however, they could also be a sign of something more serious, so definitely tell your oncologist. They will order a CBC (complete blood count), paying particular attention to your platelet count. If it's very low ( the medical term for it is thrombocytopenia), they will stop oxaliplatin, the likely culprit. Even mild epistaxis (=nosebleed) should be taken seriously in order to prevent potential more serious adverse events (mostly immune-mediated events). But no need to panic, this is just a precautionary measure. One of my professors once said "What's common is common, and what's not is not" (it sounded somewhat better in German, though). So the approach is to take it seriously without generating unnecessary anxiety. I hope this helps. Stay well, and "see" you tomorrow. Btw, you looked lovely on your date :=)

Hi!! I've been having funny symptoms and doctors are checking what could be wrong. So far, they're found I developed a fatty liver (still reversible) and fibroids in my womb (I'm 39 but still hopeful I'll find someone I can have children with). I'm scared of what they may find because I do live alone (my parents died many years ago and have no siblings) and it's just my cat to take care of me. I love watching your videos and seeing how well cared for you are!! Matt, your mum and the rest of your family are the best way to heal!!! We got this!! Sending bear hugs.
So sorry to hear about your symptoms. I’ve had PCOS for over 20 years and with that comes weight gain and a lot of other symptoms including fibroids. Are you cycles regular? You need to see a gynaecologist and endocrinologist once your GP has done some blood samples to check your hormone levels and a pelvic scan to check how big the fibroids are and cysts if any. Keep us posted and like Tiffany said your not alone we are a family now. ❤️😘
@@animallover365m9 thank you so much!!! You have no idea what this support means to me. Yeah, they just performed a pelvic scan and I have to take them to a ginecologist. Luckily, I started paying for a plan that includes direct appointments with certain specialists and that's one of them. Will get one ASAP. One of the reasons I went to the doctor was actually an inexplicable weight gain out of the blue. Promise to keep this family updated! 🤗🤗🤗

In the winter our noses inside can get really dry and bleed. When my son had nosebleeds, our doctor told us to use a Q tip (cotton swab) with Vaseline jelly on it to apply inside his nose to add moisture. You might ask your doctor about that trick. Also when I have nosebleeds, I fill a bowl with water and ice cubes. Swirl the water to make it super cold, then soak toilet paper in the ice water, form into a long rolled shape. Insert inside nose and hold there for several minutes until bleeding stops. The extra cold helps constrict the blood vessels to stop the bleeding. Hope this helps!
I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis/Crohns in 2016 (inflammation in my colon and part of my digestive track above my colon) and I had very similar symptoms. Bleeding, abdominal pain, nausea, throwing up. It's hard because I was in my mid 20s and to this day I've gone in and out of remission and rely on biologic medications (injection every week), a low dose of chemo medication (methotrexate), and i've been on steroids. I really thank you for talking about your symptoms and going to the doctor. I know it's hard especially through the diagnosis process but you are helping so many people, including myself, by showing your strength through this. Also talking about the highs and lows (which is day to day) of your journey is what a lot of us go through, so thank you.

What a GREAT thing to do a DATE with your sweet guy Matt. I’m 68 years old and I love makeup & have loved it since I was an early teen. You mentioned you dark under eye circles & I have them too. A peach color corrector & concealer is a miracle worker. I find putting on my make up is like a light 💡 switch. It will help me when I’m feeling crappy to like “Oh yeah I feel pretty good.”

Get a humidifier to put in your bedroom, could be the dry air. Also lemon essential oil is great to clean the air, great for cold and flu season, and it smells lovely. I put 5 drops in my diffuser, and I do that about 3x week💜. Stay blessed 💜.

Hi Tiffany... CBD oil is a natural blood thinner therefore this could be the reason to your nose bleeds. I know the doctors asked me to stop using it 2 weeks before my hip surgery for that matter. I hope you are feeling better soon. Great Vlogmas by the way. 💙
I suffered from severe Crohns. The pain when going to the bathroom was excruciating. I was so bad that they checked me for cancer every year. Finally about 2004 I could no longer take it and had my colon and rectum removed. I wish no one has to suffer that pain. You are so strong to go on a date with Matt with pain. As a cancer survivor myself, and it went to the lymph nodes, I can tell you miracles happen. I pray for you and your family everyday. Some words of advice… make sure you make time to cry, my shower became my crying partner and it was very healthy for me. Sometimes I had to allow myself to let it out because I buried it so deep to be strong for my family. It is a great release. We love you Tiffany. ❤️
TAnn, such perfect advice. I think a lot of us do exactly that, let it out in the shower. Running water drowns out the sobbing quite well. Then the warm water flowing over you is very cathartic! Then you can start over, fresh! Be well my friend🙏

Try using a little Vaseline (petroleum jelly) or Aquaphor healing ointment in each nostril, especially at night. The little capillaries in your nostrils are drying out and then breaking open. A humidifier next to your bed at night would help a lot too.

I worked for a lung doctor and he always stressed this. Vaseline is a petroleum product. Your nose may be dry so you can use a saline nasal spray. Always speak to your doctor for medication advice.

Nosebleeds are fairly common with chemo; that said, however, they could also be a sign of something more serious, so definitely tell your oncologist. They will order a CBC (complete blood count), paying particular attention to your platelet count. If it's very low ( the medical term for it is thrombocytopenia), they will stop oxaliplatin, the likely culprit. Even mild epistaxis (=nosebleed) should be taken seriously in order to prevent potential more serious adverse events (mostly immune-mediated events). But no need to panic, this is just a precautionary measure. One of my professors once said "What's common is common, and what's not is not" (it sounded somewhat better in German, though). So the approach is to take it seriously without generating unnecessary anxiety. I hope this helps. Stay well, and "see" you tomorrow. Btw, you looked lovely on your date :=)

Hi!! I've been having funny symptoms and doctors are checking what could be wrong. So far, they're found I developed a fatty liver (still reversible) and fibroids in my womb (I'm 39 but still hopeful I'll find someone I can have children with). I'm scared of what they may find because I do live alone (my parents died many years ago and have no siblings) and it's just my cat to take care of me. I love watching your videos and seeing how well cared for you are!! Matt, your mum and the rest of your family are the best way to heal!!! We got this!! Sending bear hugs.
So sorry to hear about your symptoms. I’ve had PCOS for over 20 years and with that comes weight gain and a lot of other symptoms including fibroids. Are you cycles regular? You need to see a gynaecologist and endocrinologist once your GP has done some blood samples to check your hormone levels and a pelvic scan to check how big the fibroids are and cysts if any. Keep us posted and like Tiffany said your not alone we are a family now. ❤️😘
@@animallover365m9 thank you so much!!! You have no idea what this support means to me. Yeah, they just performed a pelvic scan and I have to take them to a ginecologist. Luckily, I started paying for a plan that includes direct appointments with certain specialists and that's one of them. Will get one ASAP. One of the reasons I went to the doctor was actually an inexplicable weight gain out of the blue.

In the winter our noses inside can get really dry and bleed. When my son had nosebleeds, our doctor told us to use a Q tip (cotton swab) with Vaseline jelly on it to apply inside his nose to add moisture. You might ask your doctor about that trick. Also when I have nosebleeds, I fill a bowl with water and ice cubes. Swirl the water to make it super cold, then soak toilet paper in the ice water, form into a long rolled shape. Insert inside nose and hold there for several minutes until bleeding stops. The extra cold helps constrict the blood vessels to stop the bleeding. Hope this helps!

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis/Crohns in 2016 (inflammation in my colon and part of my digestive track above my colon) and I had very similar symptoms. Bleeding, abdominal pain, nausea, throwing up. It's hard because I was in my mid 20s and to this day I've gone in and out of remission and rely on biologic medications (injection every week), a low dose of chemo medication (methotrexate), and i've been on steroids. I really thank you for talking about your symptoms and going to the doctor. I know it's hard especially through the diagnosis process but you are helping so many people, including myself, by showing your strength through this. Also talking about the highs and lows (which is day to day) of your journey is what a lot of us go through, so thank you.

What a GREAT thing to do a DATE with your sweet guy Matt. I’m 68 years old and I love makeup & have loved it since I was an early teen. You mentioned you dark under eye circles & I have them too. A peach color corrector & concealer is a miracle worker. I find putting on my make up is like a light 💡 switch. It will help me when I’m feeling crappy to like “Oh yeah I feel pretty good.”

Get a humidifier to put in your bedroom, could be the dry air. Also lemon essential oil is great to clean the air, great for cold and flu season, and it smells lovely. I put 5 drops in my diffuser, and I do that about 3x week💜. Stay blessed 💜.

Hi Tiffany... CBD oil is a natural blood thinner therefore this could be the reason to your nose bleeds. I know the doctors asked me to stop using it 2 weeks before my hip surgery for that matter. I hope you are feeling better soon. Great Vlogmas by the way. 💙

I suffered from severe Crohns. The pain when going to the bathroom was excruciating. I was so bad that they checked me for cancer every year. Finally about 2004 I could no longer take it and had my colon and rectum removed. I wish no one has to suffer that pain. You are so strong to go on a date with Matt with pain.
