As you can see from the title, yes, this is a preview to Pall the Pal’s first 3 minutes (early stage). I thought you guys definitely deserved to see what’s been cooking.
40 more minutes to go…seriously this alone took about 4-5 days to storyboard, THATS NUTS! But it’s a challenge I relish.
Now, I know…you guys wanna know when it’s coming out…the truth is so do I. All I can say to sooth that question is later November or December. So if it ends up like that, it’ll be like a Christmas present to you guys. But imma try to get it done before then.
So with that, I hope ya gems enjoyed,and I’ll see you when it’s a 43 min video…
(Also I learned how to use Procreate in a day so that’s that problem solved…✍🏽you may golf clap now…joking…maybe)

It's crazy how much the animation has improved, going from something like a slideshow to becoming a full-on cartoon series. If earlier the characters walked like cardboard, now you can notice animations of even small things, such as the flag on the Craftcorn castle.

Yes Bubba get out you forgot about the most precious Smiling Critter hmph. Bruuuh you can't just shadow drop an absolute banger like this. I don't know what I can even say that people haven't said already, I mean we all have eyes just look at this. It's so much more animated and fluid, all their movements and facial expressions just leak personality. Picky doing spring cleaning, now I've seen everything. Omg ofc Hoppy and Kickin don't even know what that is wow.
I love how DogDay has a lil car like what that's so cute I didn't even think about that. This episode is just gonna be pure cuteness isn't it? I already get that vibe from these Bobby and Crafty scenes and I am ALL for it. I really hope she can just feel better man...she did not deserve being left along and forgotten about at the picnic. I don't blame her at all for feeling kinda distant from everyone now. Wish her the absolute best as I do you Gembud, you are a real one. Bro....I'm literally speechless. This went from mostly stills which was always great mind you, to some more bounciness, to FREAKING THIS. This...absotootly smooth as heck cartoon, I DID NOT expect it to look this smooth. What is wrong with me lol, why would I not expect it this is you we're talking about and you're one of the most talented people I've ever seen. DUDE THIS IS JUST THE STORY BOARD AND IT LOOKS THIS GOOD I'M LOSING IT. At first I thought they were all gonna help DogDay clean but looks like he doesn't need it hah. Dude has a car omg that's so cute, him and Bubba got the money. Picky spring cleans, there's another surprise I was not expecting. I thought she was off karate chopping something judging by her bandana pfft, but seems not only that she's also continuing to steadily work out. Haha I know how ya feel Picky, it'll be a bit of getting sore but it's worth it in the end. YO BUBBA'S GARDENING, in his lil grrenhouse yessss that's awesome to see. Dude's taking good care of his plants, respect. Pffft Hoppy and Kickin are more slops than a pig...and PICKY of all people. Okay Hoppy I get but c'mon Kickin, though he's playing video games instead that's hecka relatable so I can't be too mad at him. Okay Bobby looks absolutely a freaking dorable in her lil apron and barret on her head, I take it baking is one of her hobbies. Her and DogDay's lil buh byes to each other are melting my heart man...the cuteness I love it all it's too much give me more.
Girl has a heart shaped phone and Picky's was like a pig with wings or something I'm actually dead. Aweeee dude the music when it started going over to Crafty...hecking man I wanna hug her so bad. She's writing in her diary probably about what happened at the picnic my gosh...it's so understandable that maybe she's starting to feel a bit distant from everyone after that. Maybe she couldn't even bring herself to tell Bobby and DogDay what happened, how she was just left all alone. Then on top of that, she's got a whole castle (granted a small one) to herself all day, like who wouldn't get lonely? Bobby's lil act calling out to Crafty is too good omg, if that doesn't show you how close those two are as friends idk what does. I mean she really is the princess of her castle hah. All the little hints that Crafty definitely isn't okay though, her saying "I think" after she tells Bobby she's good, her having not really been drawing lately, she's just not been doing a whole lot. And the big one I think is her not wanting to walk with Bobby to DogDay's house, on any other day she'd probably agree to that right away.
ACK BRO BOBBY throwing in that lil "just kidding take your time" after she jokes, awe man she is so the mom of everybody. Crafty's not just her close friend, she knows she's probably the youngest of everyone and is as sweet and gentle as can be with her. Dude I don't even...words are like firing around in my brain and they're all coming out at once I'm sorry. Then we got good ol CatNip boio with the "see you soon" and I honestly feel like he left the box of toys in DogDay's house for him to find. From the music when it shows the box and everything. I cannot and I mean I CANNOT wait for this episode...even though I will cause I be a patient lad lol. Dude nah nah nah thank YOU for creating this stuff and I mean everything you've created not just these Smiling Critters animations which are peak. It has been nothing but a pleasure to view your artwork, from SC to whatever it may be. You're beyond talented and the work and dedication you put into every bit of what you do is not just inspiring it just...I don't even know how to describe it. It gives me this bubbly feeling, like I see you've posted something my face just lights up. Just keep being you man, you're like...one of the nicest freaking people I've ever met what the heck why aren't there more people like you in the world.
Okay my brain is just exploding with gush I need to like, Bubba I need a checkup lol. Needless to say dude you deserve every ounce of support and love you've gotten, and I only wish that stuff upon you. This episode, if it wasn't clear ages ago, WILL 125% be worth the wait. You good sir have COOKED. Not that you didn't cook before with every other episode but holy moly this looks aaaaamaaaaaziiiiing!!! It looks ten times better than amazing!! It's so fluent and cute, all the little details in this storyboard alone is nuts! Oh yeah, and this is JUST the storyboard and already you can see the effort and care oozing out of every single shot. If it wasn't obvious already, you are a super duper talented artist and I wish you nothing but the best working on this. The music box coming in when we go to Crafty is just perfect! So fitting her character, she's totally the youngest of everyone. I love the continuity in this series. Dogday was absent in the previous episode because he was still sick. And in this one, Picky's still got her exercise band so she's still going healthy like in the last ep. At least she isn't going hangry anymore.

Ok, legit, from these storyboards, I get the feeling that this episode is about Craftycorn’s hidden sadness. We see that she just wants to draw, but when Bobby asked if she was busy, she seemed kinda sad, but still agreed. This could cycle back to the picnic, and how she was pretty much left alone while Picky was trying her “exercise”, so I kinda want feel like she might have hidden depression here.

Woah! GREAT ANIMATION! Also, the references to old episodes are hilarious and very fun to see! Like Dogday coughing (Reference to Ep2: Doggy Down), and Picky working out (Reference to Ep. 3: Hog Wild)! Very creative! ALSO HOPPY AND KICKIN NOT DOING SPRING CLEANING IS FUNNY AS HECK! (Kickin better be winning those games) One last thing: I'm pretty sure Crafty is sad about being left alone at the picnic, and when she finds Pally, Crafty makes her "The perfect freind" and starts to ignore the others, as they ignored her in the Hog wild, Legday, and in Doggy down. But that's just an idea! Again, nice work,keep working, and can't wait to see another gem added to my 'favorite video' collection! ❤

Nice to see Crafty get the spotlight since she’s probably the least talked about of the critters. Doesn’t mean she doesn’t have fans though. I’m surprised Brony’s are not obsessed with her. She definitely looks like a character from mlp. Your art style for the critters is the cutest and cuddliest I’ve ever seen and the movements look better. You sir are really creating a smiling critters fan tv show and people are going nuts for it. As I said before even if we never get an official cartoon for the smiling critters this will do just fine. Just seriously please don’t overwhelm yourself with this to meet a deadline. I’m in no hurry and take care of yourself. Your health matters more than meeting expectations. I'll be honest, I never really cared for Poppy Playtime when it came out and didn't really bother much to watch it when Markiplier and the likes played it. I remained ignorant of the game, even though I knew it existed with some fan stuff here and there. But when I started taking notice of the sub fandom of the Smiling Critters, I could definitely tell the resemblance to the Care Bear series. And then I discovered that someone (you) was making an unofficial fan project of the Smiling Critters and I absolutely am charmed by the designs, characterizations and what not.
It reminds me of the earlier days of the internet when people were showing off their own animated projects just for fun and the passion behind it. Your art style definitely fits the Smiling Critter-verse magnificently. Hope to see how far you'll carry the niche fandom and will look forward to any future projects you may have in store once you are satisfied with the Smiling Critter-verse.

So frickin relatable hah, whenever you're sweeping there's always that bit that doesn't wanna go in. Blowing it is definitely not the way to go though heh, hey A for effort. I think this could be my favorite episode so far next to Hog wild, the amount of references to past episodes is amazing, its definitely something that makes me always come back to watch every episode, and i notice the details of in universe lore like the Hour of Joy and other poppy playtime characters, i love your work! I hope you keep on keeping on! :)

Pues la verdad me gusta mucho tu trabajo, siempre disfruto viendo lo que haces la paso super bien re viento tus videos de los smiling critters, disfrute mucho viendo este pequeño adelanto del cap 4, también gracias a dios que los subtítulos funcionan, aunque si no fuera asi aun veria lo que haces pero no entenderia mucho ya que no le se mucho al ingles, en fin no me importa tener que esperar prefiero que tardes y que te tomes tu tiempo y te quedo bonito a que lo saques rapido y alla fallos, en fin ojalá este llendo todo bien y gracias por el esfuerzo, amo lo que haces gracias en verdad por todo.

I really like how it looks at the moment, I know that when “Pally The Pal” is completely finished, this animation is going to be EXTREMELY GOOD, just like “Leg Day”, “Doggy Down” and “Hog Wild” which are INCREDIBLE, even if it will take 3 4 months longer, I don't mind, Keep it up GEMSTIN and take all your time.💎👍
