That was such an important statement he made. Let's not miss that... "I will always love God more than I love you"... the power & protection behind those words 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Fabulous Book ..Knight & Shining Armor excellent..I read this book back in 1994..asking God to show me if my daughter's father and I are to start our lives together? I finished the book, visited him, God answered the 2nd day after heartbreak for me but I asked and accepted. Broke my soul tie of 12 yrs. 💔...so grateful. I didn't remember this book until she said it 😳😳😳.. amazing
Not sure why this episode hasn't borken the 100k views marks. It is one of the best. So much wisdom, growth, healing, forgiveness, loyalty, kindness, commitment and prosperity right here!!!!
I am just astonished how they were both so grounded at their young ages when they met. Because most ppl running arround wild at those ages. Key words Her Grace, A Rare one, A Real One, Timing, His Patience, His Maturity, His deep Love for her Regardless. They both are very special.
Boyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been struggling with accepting that God has a man for me who will love me beyond my abuse. I was raped when I was 5. This episode brother healed a lot of scars. I had so many questions and then they would get answered . I'm one of those who turned to a promiscuous life. Sometimes I have to pause these episodes to let certain things marinate and let God heal me. This was one of those I get to see my story mirrored . I saw me at 50. A few months ago I wrote my future 50 a letter. I know I have a long way to go to get to 50, however this episode lay a new different path. Again thank you LT
Too often we dismiss what God is doing and we try to do our own thing. This episode proves what happens when you allow God to order your steps. So many nuggets were dropped. “I will always love God more than I love you!”
"I will always love God more than I love you!!" Lord, that's the love my heart desires. My prayer is for a man that loves God more than he loves me. I know there's still men like that out there! I'm so excited to experience this kind of love. Tim Brown's life in the NFL shows that when you are truly committed to God, you can serve in any capacity! He did not allow himself to fall into the box and God receives ALL the glory! Sherice's story is so common now and it's sad. So many women are opening up about this kind of trauma and it's really heartbreaking. Tim's advice to men with wives who suffered this kind of trauma was on point! "If you love her, just love her!" Laterras, God is truly your publicist! Your guests continue to inspire and encourage me. As always, your letter was so touching!❤❤
DFW is truly a God ordained ministry. Every guest is so impactful in every way. Tim and Sherice are what I needed for God to peel back another layer of a deep wound in my heart and soul. I know God is in this conversation because He exposed the details of the most painful experiences of my life through a woman I have never met. It says that He is the God Who Sees and Keeps His Promises. Sherice, thank you for telling your story. I remember the room in my grandmother’s house where my uncle did the same things to me at the age of 4 (it could have been earlier but I can’t recall), but being in kindergarten helps me remember how old I was when it was uncovered. It was my grandmother who caught my uncle in the act. I wish it would have stopped there, but noone knew that both sides of my family (mother and father) would deepen the wounds as family secrets continued to be kept. This is my greatest pain, but I now understand why it is my greatest purpose. Tim, you gave me so much hope that God is so intentional about choosing the best husband for me. Even down to “I will always love God more than I love you.” It is that love and commitment to God that I will need to pour out over me in the difficult days we will face. It is the same love that will remind me that I forgave my uncle and my other relatives. I pray for their salvation and healing deep within them. Now, I know my husband will be the man who will walk with me whatever I will do to help families heal as they uncover the secrets and restore their legacies. Thank you, Laterras for allowing God to use you. This conversation was so necessary. Your future Wifey is indeed a blessed woman that you are so intentional to learn and mature in areas that she may need. She will have these lessons to remind her of how God was so intentional about the man He prepared just for her. It brings me to tears hearing your letters. They have truly restored hope. 💜
This is such a phenomenal episode! For explanation, from a therapist: Trauma is down to our molecular/cellular level. Our body remembers traumatic events, hence, why if we experience trauma even before our brain’s memory functioning is developed, we remember it. I’m so grateful for her transparency in this. And so grateful for this platform providing the space for this phenomenal couple to speak about their journey!!
Love your testimony! Our oldest son is in the NFL and is planning to get married. I want him to watch this episode. Also, I have a similar experience as Mrs. Brown and I'm still dealing with forgiveness. Thank you!
Little needs to be said about this couple. Tim Brown is a man who allows God to be the head of his life. Of course Godly character flows in every aspect of his life. It was so refreshing to see this healthy couple share their story. Surrendered with humility and integrity. Power couple❤
I love them. Nothing like a godly family led by a spirit filled man that hears God and listens to the instructions of the Holy Spirit on how to guide the affairs of his life and family. I also saw how he wanted to marry his high school sweetheart so bad but God had someone for him that he would meet down the line juat right for him. He provided a safe space for his wife to heal bloom and flourish. God bless good men, they exist, they are not perfect but they are perfect for who God picked for them. She also reeks of godly woman. Kudos👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️
Thank you for your podcast. I desire a marriage that is ordained by God and seeing your journey and the journeys of the couples you bring on your podcast is encouraging and uplifting. The transparency is real. I look forward to the husband God has for me
Tim and Sherice thank you for sharing your story. Both of you are very funny! This episode made me laugh and cry. I have learned so much from what both of you shared.
@laterras God is doing a mighty work in and through you. There is something different about this season. The anointing is all over it. These couples!!!! Whew!
May God bless you, Laterras !!! I’m just always so proud of you and your Kingdom assignment. It’s just so entirely major. I still don’t think you fully understand. Your reward will be so great. I didn’t even watch this yet but every time I turn your video on -- God reiterates this to me in only 2 seconds. Every time I see you.
This is a beautiful story... her story just got me crying. Am grateful because you are not just helping us love right, but healing wounds in all spheres of life. God bless you🙏
Wow!! A great episode and blessed couple. I really enjoyed the Brown’s!!! So much wisdom and insight🔥. May God continue to bless your union, we need your voices!!!
Another awesome transparent episode. love it!!! Grateful for Tim Brown and his wife and the example and legacy they continue to build with each day!!!!! #Epic!!!!
I'm just amazed at how God worked in this woman's life. Experiencing abuse at young age is hard and never have a protection and comfort from the people who are supposed to protect and love you is even tougher. May God continue to bless and use you. It gives us courage and confidence to overcome... Thank you for the testimony
Tim appeared very disengaged and emotionless as his wife shared her childhood abuse. Yet, just prior to her speaking, he was charismatic sharing about his high school years, college, status, celebrities etc. Then when it was time for him to respond he made general statements, refocused discussion to himself, and chose to create moments of laughter. I feel his responses lacked empathy for the trauma his wife experienced. Also, while giving his response, he was able to maintain eye contact with Laterrus, but while his wife was sharing he rarely looked in her direction and instead looked up or looked away from his wife.
Another phenomenal podcast! To God be the glory!! What a beautiful God fearing blessed couple!! I need to buy stock in Kleenex!! I have relatable experiences and trauma as Mrs. Sherice Brown! 😭😭🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️Again, I am blessed beyond measure with this platform Mr. Whitfield! God bless you abundantly! I love God so much! My prayers are with you all!🙏🏽
I truly appreciate this platform. I been raised in church and NEVER seen Godly, healthy relationships until watching your podcast. I thank God for you. I'm operating in healing, building my faith and preparing myself for who God has for me.
Hallelujah Amen. This man said..I will never Love you more then I Love God. Lord, I would have married him too. "Just like that'. That sounds like a God Ordained Husband 😊🙏🏼❤️
She remembers because she was traumatized and usually children who have been sexually assaulted have excellent memories or they mentally block out the horrendous act.
Every single episode is another gem, opening eyes, ears, and hearts to the redemptive and deliverance needed to live a better and whole life in Jesus... married, courting, or single - no one is left behind!!! 💜💜💜
Another home run. I loved him as a football player, but the amount of respect I've just gained for him as a man has blown my mind. They are an amazing couple.
Two purpose minded people, sex is not the sum of a marriage, God's purpose being fulfilled is everything. It is their love relationship with the Lord and out of that for each other. Leading her in God's love and tenderness knowing her trauma helps her to flourish. Powerful her testimony and deeply knowing God's forgiveness for herself, she was able to adopt her purpitrators child. Two powerful purpose driven people, love it!!! Powerful! God bless them!!
I’m so glad she’s telling her story! I also struggle with intimacy because of a similar instance. Seeing that there are men who will work to understand is so reassuring.
This is beautiful! I’m in faith for a husband that knows how to protect my pain. It’s beautiful because it’s not that he didn’t know how to handle her poorly, but he chose not to. The fact that he promised to never love her more than he loves God, is just beautiful. It Was God’s Divine Plan!
This couple has ministered to so many people through their story of God's Divinity and Awesomeness. The power of their love for each other, their intentionality and commitment to each other and to God is a true testimony of why they are blessed. Their journey through healing and the level of forgiveness it must have taken to bury the person who caused your trauma and to raise the abuser's child! 😭😭😭😭😭😭But by the Grace of God, I am who I am.... What a powerful episode.💖💖
this was such a perfect conversation, because that her struggles and her scars are the reason why I’m hesitant on being married, because as women we are taught that men want sex, and that is a very uncomfortable part of a relationship for me because that is not a priority for me so I’m glad this has come up to know that there are men not just a man but a godly man, and not just a godly man, but a sensitive, godly man that takes that into consideration that is selfless and compassionate and empathetic
Know that that is worldly because a true man who has a personal relationship with God understands that marriage is not all about sex. 1 Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. ( For he has self-control).
There are men who have suffered sexually trauma as well ,& some don't share it because they are afraid of being perceived as gay. The right man 👞♂️ is the one for you 😍 GOD has & isnt very sexually active & kind - and patient to become a husband & the right one for you & ladies who feal with this issue . The right wife for men with sexual trauma and need a kind patient wife concerning this & other areas of understanding & patience & be faithful & loving & fine im marraige as a well !!!!! Blessings & joy and hugs 🤗💞 to you !!! 🙏
I really enjoyed this episode. I love how Tim Brown validates Sherice being a “Complete Woman”. He is level headed, easy going, sensitive and, understanding of Sherice’s needs. I love Sherice’s honesty too and how she spoke her truth and extended forgiveness making peace with her past.
I kept on searching for this episode to the extent of running out of patience leading me to listen to it on Spotify! Laterras, that's how you know your platform is an incredible blessing. I'll continue tuning in and getting inspired as I enjoy this preparation phase before I link my life to the amazing husband that God has for me! God bless you ❤️
So proud to hear this beautiful love story of my Notre Dame brother ☘️ and his lovely queen. I am inspired by this depth of love and commitment in a husband and marriage, and pray the same for my life soon. ❤️
Update y’all it was in my cart this morning they told me it’s no longer available 😭😭Silent cry and punching the air I knew I should bought it expeditiously
How beautiful it is to have a mate to love you and everything that comes with you. May God bless both of you.❤🙏 Laterras, thank you so much for this episode. As a woman who was molested by a family member as well, this episode was so healing for me.
I am about to turn 60 and have never been married. I beat myself up because I am overweight and have health issues, as God's daughter I continue to work on me and wait. Thank you Browns for showing that who and what God has for you will come in His time. DFW rocks 💞💞
This platform SPEAKS life of so many situations that may often be swept under the rug. I appreciate this podcast as it spoke life to me!! My uncle was the same way and it was hidden for YEARS! Thank you for this open and transparent podcast discussing topics that some woman/men will never discuss.
This was too cute. I love their relationship. I love to laugh too. I need that in my relationship. My husband has to have a sense of humor.( God willing) 🙏🏼 But, I like that saying. He said (God know you can catch a football but God need you to catch a soul).🤣🤣 (Love it) I really enjoyed that he recognized his purpose was not just football and he knew that his talent shouldn't become an idol in replacement of God regardless of his status. And that was just a platform God used for his Will. (Praise God )❤️🙏🏼 Besides that, I love that candle light dinner . That menu was a Southern dish. She catered to his taste palette.😊 Yes! I enjoy cooking too. If you get a compliment that they can taste the love in your food. You are good.👍🏼 She had his heart and his belly😁. This was another Great episode, Laterras.❤️😊
STOP TELLING SA VICTIMS THAT GOD MADE THAT HAPPEN ON PURPOSE SO THAT THEY MAY HAVE A STORY TO TELL OR SOMEHOW HELP OTHERS THROUGH THEIR ABUSE!!! STOP ✋
I so agree with this. It is not the will of God for terrible things to happen to anyone. However, evil exists in this world and the Bible says the heart of man is desperately wicked. I hold onto the belief that ALL things will work together for my God, good and bad, will work for my good in the long run.
A God-fearing and fun-loving couple. What a gentle spirit Sherice has as well! I'm saddened by her experience (encountered a few students who also had similar stories). Thankfully God delivers justice!
This was another amazing episode. I don’t currently have the funds to participate in counseling, but your podcasts are so therapeutic. I thank God for your obedience & discernment on who to interview. As a seasoned woman of 56 years, I’m holding on to my belief that I am a wife & that it’s still possible for a woman my age. Have you done an episode about people finding love after 50? Anyway May God bless, keep & cover your heart and mind as well as those of your children. Thanks for what you’re doing
This is love...unconditional love. Seasoned. We have to remember...GOD CREATED US TO SERVE HIM...NOT FOR HIM TO SERVE US. All our gifts are for His glory. So glad Tim Brown is using his talents to serve the Lord. So grateful his beautiful wife shared her story which will bring healing to the masses of women AND men who have experienced trauma in childhood. Thank you both.
This was an amazing episode with another great couple! I thoroughly enjoyed hearing their love story of triumph and forgiveness. God can carry you through a lot and people would never know. Continued blessings and covering to them and to you Laterras! Keep being intentional, you’re being of service to many. 🙏🏾
One of the best podcast interviews ! Sherice thank you for your transparency, much needed. I believe the sexual abuse statistics for women are much higher than 1-5. Sadly many men have been sexually abused as a child as well, with no safe space to share. Tim thank you for being so funny, and an example of a Man of God. You two are a beautiful couple, love the chemistry, laughter and energy coming off the TV. Please continue to minister to the masses, much needed and you two are perfect for the challenge. I’m inspired as a 54 yr old single female. Blessings and Love!!!!
I am really glad you are up and real with us. The couple married 51 Years of Marriage, me and Hubby enjoyed the wisdom shared. We just Celebrated 41 Years. Also Pastor's. Loving it!

Beautiful story.... I love how the husband was patient with his wife.

Sherice, thank you for telling your story. Forgiveness is a MUST. Yes Queen. The Lord forgives us and we must forgive others...
Thank you! God indeed kept His promise to protect Sherice. He is doing so through her husband. Amazing!

Noii 3:15 😅pp 😊
God bless you ❤️
That means alot
@@DearFutureWifey Can u plz reach out to me. Thank u
Wow!!! Her forgiveness is so LIT. My goodness. Passes ALL understanding for real, for real.
This podcast truly blessed me.. Tim is the kind of man I see in my experience...and taking many notes from his Wife...THANK YOU ALL!
So proud to hear this beautiful love story of my Notre Dame brother ☘️ and his lovely queen. I am inspired by this depth of love and commitment in a husband and marriage, and pray the same for my life soon. ❤️
They are soooo cute together and I love their transparent testimonies as a couple. Also, did not know how funny Tim is. Great episode. 👑✨
Buying knight and shining armour before it sold out on Amazon say less sis 😂
That part!!!!
Just ordered it for my daughter. Won't arrive for about 3-4 weeks.
Update y’all it was in my cart this morning they told me it’s no longer available 😭😭Silent cry and punching the air I knew I should bought it expeditiously
Somebody! Anybody! Are they on back order 😭😭😭😭😭😭
@Ciara!!!! Do you have to have a hard copy or can you use a digital copy?
How beautiful it is to have a mate to love you and everything that comes with you. May God bless both of you.❤🙏
Laterras, thank you so much for this episode.
LOVE on display. God is never short of his word. Some things He will do suddenly and others He will do eventually.
He said (God know you can catch a football but God need you to catch a soul).🤣🤣 (Love it)
I really enjoyed that he recognized his purpose was not just football and he knew that his talent shouldn't become an idol in replacement of God regardless of his status. And that was just a platform God used for his Will. (Praise God )❤️🙏🏼
Besides that, I love that candle light dinner .
STOP ✋
@loveubye2288 Yeah, No I disagree also with that. I'm assuming sA stands for sexual assault SURVIVOR💪🏿
God "Allowed" it is definitely different from on purpose.
This episode was so good! The example of what kingdom marriage looks like.
Jesus came to serve, not to be served (Matthew 20:28) but, it is in the example of His (Jesus ) serving that we can serve too.
What an Amazing couple!!! Their stories of forgiveness is a true testimony of faith!!!🙏🏾
Loving it!
Congratulations
You have the best guest on your podcast Thank You
