    Without you're video i can't sleep ...It's very very useful
    இன்னும் நிறைய இங்கிலீஷ் ல எழுத ஆசை அனா தெரியல

    தயவுசெய்து explanation தமிழில் கொடுங்கள் நாங்கள் ஆங்கிலம் கற்றுக்கொள்ள உங்களது வீடியோவை பார்த்தால் நீங்கள் ஆங்கிலத்தில் தான் அதிகமாக பேசுகின்றீர்கள் சற்று தமிழிலும் பேசினால் தான் எங்களுக்கு புரியும்

    • @MJalalEnglishforTamils
      @MJalalEnglishforTamils  5 лет назад

      நான் தமிழில் மட்டுமே பேசினால் நீங்கள் ஆங்கிலம் பேச, எழுதக் கற்றுக் கொள்வது என்பது சாத்தியமில்லை. நாங்கள் முதலில் காலேஜுக்கு சென்றபோது அங்குள்ள வாத்தியார்கள் முழுமையாக இங்கிலீஷ் தான் பேசுவார்கள். முதலில் ஒன்றுமே விளங்கவில்லை. விட்டுவிட்டு ஓடி வந்து விடலாம் என்று கூட நினைத்தேன். பிறகு ஒரு மூன்று நான்கு மாதம் கழித்து கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக விளங்க ஆரம்பிச்சது. அவர்கள் அப்படி சொல்லிக் கொடுக்கவில்லை என்றால் ஆங்கிலம் நான் கற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்க மாட்டேன்.
      ஆகவே நீங்கள் விளங்காவிட்டாலும் தொடர்ந்து பாருங்கள் சிறிது காலம் கழித்து உங்களுக்கு விளங்கிவிடும்.
      பள்ளியிலும் நாம் எல்லோரும்ஆங்கிலம் கற்றுக் கொண்டோம். ஆனால் அங்கு எல்லோரும் தமிழில் தான் சொல்லிக் கொடுப்பார்கள். ஆகவே பள்ளிப்பருவத்தில் இங்கிலீஷ் கொஞ்சம் கூட உண்மையாக கற்றுக் கொள்ளவில்லை. நீங்கள் உண்மையாக ஆங்கிலம் கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றால் இங்கிலீஷ் அடுத்தவர்கள் பேசுவதை கேட்க வேண்டும்.

    • @MJalalEnglishforTamils
      @MJalalEnglishforTamils  4 года назад

      When you want to merely inform some body you use would. "This work would be easy" is an information.
      When you want to reassure some body you use should. "This work should be easy" is like telling the hearer, "Don't worry. This work should be easy.So please go ahead and do it.".

    Hi sir, I have a doubt.
    You already explained about 'Could' and 'May'.
    1. 'Could' is used for making request.
    2. 'May' is used for asking permission.
    What is the difference between request and permission.?
    Which one is correct as below statement?
    1. Could I use your pen.
    2. May I use your pen.

    • @MJalalEnglishforTamils
      @MJalalEnglishforTamils  5 лет назад +1

      Both can be used.
      Yet there is a minute difference.
      Please see the following sentences.
      Could you please lend your pen? (This is a request. In this case, the pen could be in your pocket. So if you want to act upon this request, you have to take the pen from your pocket and give it to him).
      May I use your pen? (This is asking for permission. In this case, the pen may be lying on the table or in the pen holder on the table. If he gives permission verbally by saying "Yes you may", then you have to pick up the pen from the table or the pen holder to use it. He need not pick it up and give you)
      In request, the requested person has to act upon the request.
      In permission, the person who gives the permission just has to say ok or nod his head. Then you have to act further.
      Please see one more example.
      Could you go to the next room please?
      You can not say "May you go to the next room please?
      So after "could", the next word could be " You" as in the second case above or "I' as in the example given by you.
      In "May" it is always "I" .
      Hope it is clear now.
