Well, y'know, if you knew a thing or two about the genre you'd realise Scarlett's performance in Lost in Translation was a turning point in the revival of shoegaze as a genre. Sure it was always around, and I'm not for one second suggesting that the film was solely responsible, but it definitely helped. She's a huge shoegaze fan as well and to perform with these guys was something of a dream. Why not just revel in the music and keep such petty comments to yourself?
