Never use wood shims on the sill of windows or doors. The can swell wen wet, shrink when dry and crush under the weight, ALWAYS used composite shims with 1000 PSI compression strength.

Can the direction​ of slide be reversed once installed? For example, if installed to slide left to right - is it easy to switch right to left?
